  D500 with an Nikon 200-500 lens I am an amateur bird photographer and I'm obtaining wonderful photos. Couldn't be happier with the kit lens. After a long time on backorder, the package finally arrived. Well worth the somewhat higher price, and worth the wait. It was back ordered for about 8 weeks but 42photo kept me abreast of the status all the while and delivered it expeditiously once available.

  Usual pleasant purchasing experience with 42nd St. Photo. The used kit is always reasonably priced, and many salespeople include detailed and accurate notes on eg whether the lens optics are dust free. It would be great if all staffers provided detailed condition notes, since it really helps decided whether or not to buy online.

  Excellent Bridge Camera The delivery was extremely quick after talking to the team at 42PHOTO. I am not a photographer so I don't know much about the technical details. However, this camera just takes great pics. Lighting, clarity, and color are all awesome. I received a beautiful product from 42PHOTO. I trust this company so I order from the west coast from their east coast because I know I am going to get the best product and the best value and the best quality.   Outstanding service as always with 42PHOTO. The Sigma 85 is better than the Sony 85 mm 1.4 GM IMO. This lens is much sharper, bokeh smoother, and overall a much better lens than the Sony 1.8. Helped by Jonathan and John. Enjoyed it all nothing was too much trouble, best way to properly try and test Cameras and Lenses out before possible purchase. Look forward to the next one.   Fast delivery of the DSLR camera I ordered at significantly below the price of anywhere else. Was slightly nervous it might be too good to be legit, but it was. Kudos to the 42nd street photo and shipping department, So far the camera performs well and was a breeze to set up, the autofocus has been on point! In the past few days, I've shot a ton of photos and a few videos, and have never experienced any problems. Would definitely recommend 42nd street photo

You really get the feeling they will not even consider selling you something if they feel it's not right for you. This in itself is invaluable.   The Z9 is my go-to camera for all types of photography. I am a wildlife photographer who primarily photographs birds. The FTZ II is also a wonder as I do not have to invest in all new lenses! Also, THANK YOU 42nd St. PHOTO for getting me my Z9 so soon as I had to let B H Superstore know that they came in dead last as I just received a notice from them that my order was still out of stock. When it became clear that I was interested in specific Nikon kit, I was directed to John who just happened to have the same camera and was able to talk from experience and demonstrate the features that he had found useful. We had a wide ranging conversation on other items such as tripods & camera bags, at no point did I feel pressured to buy anything - quite the opposite, John suggested I didn't rush into the items there & then, which was the right call - a refreshing change from pushy sales and a sure-fire way to gain a loyal & returning customer. I walked away from 42nd St. PHOTO feeling energized and enthusiastic about my photography and confident that I had purchased the right kit for me. Such an excellent team, with a great manager.   Shipping info lacking The ZV-E10 arrived early but other accessories, Sony NP-FW50 Lithium-Ion battery. shoulder strap and wind screen adapter a week after ordering. The one issue I had with the items is that I was not informed at any point of the items shipping and hence could not estimate a delivery date. Knowing the accessories have shipped and are 'in transit' is standard communication today.

  Fantastic customer service My Sony a7 IV camera stopped working and I was worried I was going to miss out on the Northern Lights season. I emailed customer services and got a very quick and helpful response. I returned my faulty camera free of charge and a replacement was sent to me immediately. It is so refreshing to know that excellent customer service does still exist. Thank you 42nd Street Photo.

  I haven't heard of this retailer and honestly I was a bit apprehensive on if this was a legit business as I found at least 1 used Hassy I've been looking at for way below what I've been finding online. I took a chance and purchased a 907X 50C (at a bargain too) and a Hasselblad 907X viewfinder. Processing was quick, shipped within a couple of business days and got to me within the week. Pretty impressed overall but my only gripe is the interface on their website seems to search a little slow. Other than that little quirk, I'm pretty happy with 42nd st. photo and I'll look to purchase again with them but with a lot more confidence. Definitely a legit business and it seems they do a great job at fulfilling orders. Shipping was about standard prices with other retailers and I haven't had to contact customer support about anything so I can't attest how well they respond but I believe they ship out of NYC and New York has been good to me throughout the years. If you're reading this and looking for a real customer who has purchased something from 42nd photo and are wondering if you should "pull the trigger" on a purchase, I would tell you to go ahead and purchase away as I'm definitely impressed with what seems like a relatively unknown, small American business.

  My order has just arrived DHL had never updated the tracking as it still says my order is still at the Depot. Silvio at 42Photo has been brilliant, it seems that it has been mostly UPS to blame so I think a little harshly on my part only giving 1 star but because of Silvio it should be upgraded to 4 stars.

  42photo is Such a Great Company! I've been shopping with 42Photo NYC for 10 years. They are by far the best online retailer I have ever dealt with. The shop harks back to me as a lad drooling over prosumer equipment on the back of magazines in the 90's. They are at the heart of the American photo history.

  This was my 1st purchase from 42PHOTO. I didn't have any previous knowledge of consumer camcorders. I just hoped that it wasn't a run-of-the-mill venture.   Best Purchase Ever! 42nd St Photo is great! I love this sony a6100 camera! 42nd St. Photo did a great job shipping it to me quite quickly.   Outstanding company to conduct business with. The 42nd St. Photo team responds very fast to email questions. I ordered a Canon EOS 90D that was not available in Salt Lake. They shipped it the same day. It arrived in perfect condition, to my home in Salt Lake City two days! The lens I ordered from a supplier in Ohio took 9 days!
