  Excellent service! I've never ordered anything internationally before, so I was a little hesitant at first. The part arrived earlier than their estimated arrival, and was 100% correct. 1001 even reached out when there was an issue with my address, corrected the issue, and the part still arrived early. Would and will do business with again!

  I RECEIVED MY SECOND ORDER BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FIRST ORDER WHICH WAS MADE ON JANUARY 25. I WAS TOLD MY FIRST ORDER WAS SENT ON JANUARY 28 AND TO EXPECT DELIVERY ON FEB 10 THRU 15. THAT WAS NOT TRUE. I WAS ADVISED MY FIRST ORDER WAS SENT OUT LAST WEEK (MARCH 1) BUT I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO TRACK IT. DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELEIVE. AT THE END OF FEBRUARY I SENT AN E-MAIL TO 1001HOBBIES REQUESTING THAT MY ORDERS WERE TO BE CANCELLED AND MY PAYMENT REFUNDED. I WAS NOTIFIED A FEW DAYS LATER THAT MY SECOND ORDER WAS SENT OUT FOR DELIVERY AND A FEW DAYS AFTER THAT WAS TOLD THAT MY FIRST ORDER WAS SENT OUT. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY ON LINE HOBBY SHOP PURSHACE. I DON'T THINK I WILL BE USING OR RECOMMENDING 1001HOBBIES IN THE FUTURE.

  I live in America and bought an item from 1001hobbies. I’d never heard of the site before so I was sort of apprehensive about ordering, but I bit the bullet and went ahead with my order anyway since I couldn’t find the item I was ordering anywhere else. In the end, I did end up getting my order about 2 weeks later through the economy shipping option. My item came from France, so the long shipping times are understandable, though tracking stopped updating once it left France, which would have been nice. I never received any shipping updates after that, including when my package was delivered; it just kind of showed up one day without a notification of delivery of any kind. Still, my order arrived within the specified timeframe and the undamaged. In short, if you’re a US buyer who’s unsure about whether or not to buy from 1001hobbies, I’d say go for it if you’re willing to put up with the sparse shipping updates and the 2 week shipping times.

  I placed an order on 12/5 for a Christmas gift. Having received no status updates, I called the following week and left a voice mail. Having still received no response, I emailed on 12/22 and finally heard on 12/23 that my order was awaiting delivery, but instead I was going to be reimbursed (no other option was offered). I was in fact reimbursed on 1/16, but that was obviously of no use to me in purchasing the Christmas gift and I wound up having to find another hobby shop.

  I had tried to get this product for over a year from the usual sources and none of them could supply it. I found 1001hobbies on the internet and they showed stock availability so I placed an order. Imagine my surprise when it arrived from Paris! It took awhile to ship by I had already waited a year on backorder with a domestic supplier, so it was like a rush order to me!

  Navigation on the website is not the easiest or the most intuitive but I manage to get where I want to go. I was never able to complete my order because the website would never properly process my payment method. I tried getting help from their helpline but I ran into the same issues. They claimed that my payment method was at fault…mmm, I used the same payment method at a competitor and had no issues what so ever. I would still like to shop 1001 hobbies but not for awhile. They have to figure this stuff out, and the excuse of there being a shortage of workers, seems sketchy. As I explained to the help desk person whom I was in contact with, the system was such a mess that I wasn’t even sure he/she was legitimate therefore I wasn’t going to risk giving them my financial information.

  It allowed me to place an order for an item you never actually had in stock. It took over a month with me finding ways to message the company about my missing order, until I received notice it was out of stock. I had already put a dispute in with my credit card company, letting them know I had not heard from the company nor received any response from them. The credit card refunded me my funds and I immediately ordered somewhere else and received that item less then a week later.

  The customer service is terrible. I ordered something that never shipped, and I emailed them after weeks of waiting only to find out that the item is permanently out of stock. I asked for a refund, and they never gave me one. I had to file a claim with PayPal to finally get my money back. It was a horrible shopping experience, and I'm very unhappy.

  It was a bit difficult to navigate tracking since I do not speak French and switching to English got lost in the lack of translation. My model came on time and I am overall very pleased. In the future if i am looking for a certain model and they have it I will go after it..
