Verified reviewI was informed after my purchase that the pricing was incorrectly listed online. A clerical error on their part. Instead of accepting the consequences of their mistake, they cancelled the order and refunded me. I can't believe they just canceled my order! I got an email saying the price was listed incorrectly, but that's not my fault. It's incredibly frustrating when a company makes a mistake and then just pushes the consequences onto the customer instead of owning it. I had everything planned out, and now I'm back to square one, all because they couldn't honor their own advertised price.

Verified reviewI purchased speakers and a sub , wiring kit ,and requested to have trim rings for door speakers ordered , never received phone call or message that they arrived , so I purchased else where . The speaker I bought that the salesmen was selling me on wasn’t available so he sold me the one off the display , but guarantee the speaker was new and never used . I spent fair amount of $ w/ tristate between your stores and each one the salesmen seems like the are being bothered by questions . I’ll just order online , I like to support local n small businesses , but not w/ that kind of service. Try harder

Navigating the site and processing payment was simple and straight forward, shipping was very fast, and the products were exactly as represented. Had a couple questions for their customer service folks who answered the line quickly and helped me with what I needed. Not sure what more I could have wanted from this company. Highly recommend.

Verified reviewI have a new 2025 Toyota tundra crewmax hybrid platinum. The first thing I did was dive to Sound of Tri State on Kirkwood hwy to speak with Scott the manager about a speaker upgrade. The tundra had the Jbl premium sound but it was not as good as it could be. I only had 135 miles on it when I dropped it off. I have had 2 other killer systems installed in other vehicles. A jeep 9 years ago and a Bronco 2 1/2 yrs ago. Each time Scott has exceeded my expectations. On the Bronco the speakers, sub, and amp blew me away. He also installed aftermarket headlights, 3 set of fog lights, and a sunrider top. All the work was meticulously completed. When I had a headlight acting up, a call and a quick remedy soon followed that immediately corrected the problem. This explains my complete trust in dropping off a brand new vehicle. That and the fact I have 2 friends that have used this shop. One buddy 3x like me, another once. We all have nothing but respect and gratitude for the professional way this shop is run. My one friend had a warranty claim on something that may or may not been caused by the car owner. Scott came through for him saving at least $1000 by getting it covered under mfg warranty. So now we get to my truck. The installation of all speaker upgrades were perfection. The amps, speaker wire, connections, sub, and enclosure looked OEM. This is a hybrid with a battery under the backseat. The room behind rear seat severely limited space for the sub, but after getting used to a big sub in my bronco I did not want to go backwards. This is the genius of Scott. He made a removable enclosure with a down firing sub that fits seamlessly with the design of the trucks rear seat. It looks like a console between the rear seat passengers. Simply Amazing ! This was totally custom utilizing fiberglass and wrapped in a textured black auto type felt. Words to not describe the sound or appearance ! I also had a power tonneau cover installed. I just assumed that it would come with additional remotes for operation. Scott came through again and ordered and additional electronic module that allowed it to be programmed to my car remotes. This is why a resoundingly give this shop a 5 star review and highest recommendation !

Wrong tracking number, etc. However, a call to customer service got me the right tracking number, and my order arrived in two days just like originally promised. Item was in good condition and exactly what I ordered. So overall, good experience, AND they sent me a coupon to price match another vendors online price after I emailed a link so.. buy here, by all means, and soundoftristate.... Talk to your programmers and data folks hey?
