Love the size and shape of the Hughes. I feel that they are more of a traditional style of aviators rather than the slim modernized version that ray ban offers. I have both all black and gold with black, love both pairs.

My eyes are really close together (can't even use most binoculars!) so I ordered the Empire shades and they fit my face perfectly!!! Also got a pair for my wife (truth be told they look even better on her! For real!). Got the brown/gold for me and the blue/gold for her. Both are great fresh looks (not your boring browns and blacks I've always had in sunglasses). About the tint shades... both the brown lens and blue lens shades are good in that neither is too dark or too light they are just right! Note: the blue tinted lenses make everything slightly darker (as in an amber component) vs. the brown lenses which don't darken as much and have a tint that leans to the blue side of the spectrum not the amber side). For me the lighter shade is more relaxing to my brain than the slightly darker amber-like ones. WE BOTH LOVE OUR COOL NEW SHADES!!!!!

I cannot say how happy I am with my new Hooks ! I originally purchased the Sloan’s, I returned them for the Hooks And I am so happy with the Hooks , great fit, great design great style !!!! And the William, painter team that assisted me with the return awesome 👏 they truly mad the transaction very easy.
The Hooks are now my daily go to sunglasses. If you are thinking about buying* the Hooks all I can say is just do it ! You won’t regret it.
