Bought these for my son's birthday. He absolutely loves them. As with any teenager his handling of them is less than gentle, however, these glasses have withstood his rough-housing with mates and secretly I think his mates are all a little jealous of his super cool shades. I originally won a pair of these sunglasses three years ago in a random giveaway of a notable entrepreneur who was spreading the word about his brand new podcast. I wore my hook frames the entire time with no problems. I loved them. They were comfortable, lightweight, and durable (great for opening beers with the boys). But like all good things it had to come to an end at some point, or so I thought... My roommate's dog, a savage beast, found my sunglasses while waiting in my car at a trendy grocery store lot and decided to desecrate my precious frames by ravaging them with her hateful fangs. I was shocked to find the sunglasses in almost perfect condition still, except for one of the lenses. She hadn't even been able to break the lens completely through, however, she did puncture it to the point of having an annoying white spot in the lens where one of her teeth tried to punch through. I knew William Painter had a lifetime warranty, but there was no way I qualified since I got the glasses for free, right? WRONG. I explained the situation in wayyyy less detail than above and there were no questions asked. I sent them back and got a brand new pair shipped to me in a few days. Extremely high quality glasses and extremely high professionalism. I highly recommend.

I own many sunglasses from a variety of high-end names, however these have to be the best pair of sunglasses I have in my collection. Thought they may be too big for my face, however when I put them on, I couldn't take them off! Well done William Painter. Will definitely be ordering from you again.
