Great looking shades with durability, a great combination for the working man. They looked great straight out of the box. So my only complaint would be not having an option for shipping method. Living on the east coast it took more than 10 days to get to me, but what makes up for that is the free 7 day trial coupled with the lifetime guarantee. All in all this won’t be the last pair of William Painters I purchase

- They pinch a bit on my temple, but that is probably because I have a big head, so I will have a professional adjust them to my head.
- When laying in the sun the titanium “temple” side parts get super hot, so be aware of this when putting them on your head.

It was quite a gamble, ordering it unseen in real life from the states to the Netherlands. But the model and the fit is perfect. I get a lot of questions from friends where I got this nice pair of glasses.

The Hook is my daily-wear pair of shades right now. I also have owned a pair of Empires (blue/gold) and a pair of Hughes (black). The Hughes didn't work out for me due to a small screw error but the return process was really simple and I had my Hook replacements within a week or two. (I was in Honduras, so shipping shouldn't be that easy.) My Hooks in black have been with me since then and are still in great shape (It's been about a year now and they've been on beaches and in board rooms from Colombia to Michigan.) They're stylish, get tons of compliments, open beer bottles like a charm, and the polarization is perfect and clear unlike several cheap pairs I've gotten. Best part, they've been dropped, sat on, and even fell out of a moving Humvee at about 40mph without breaking. I'd score a 6/5 stars if I could.

Love them. They fit well, look great, and feel very durable. Way better than my Oakleys. By the way, my 3rd set of sunglasses and absolutely love my WP socks.

Never thought I'd ever drop around $200 on a pair of sunglasses, but the marketing really caught my interest. omg the fun, the brilliance! So I gave these Empires a shot and they've instantly become the most revered shades I've ever owned. The style, the quality . . . the marketing could be sick boring awful and I'd still completely favor these. I love this company and wish it phenomenal success. Thanks for just being you guys.
