This is my second pair. I normally don't buy the same pair of glasses twice but I lost my other pair while in Cancun dodging heavy waves. Hope whoever found them can get good use out of them as I did. I'm sure they probably still looked new coming out of the ocean. Anyway, I would normally not buy the same thing twice, but the quality and utility of the hook will not compare to any sunglasses being made and sold for a similar price. If you are thinking about whether it is worth it, get it and try them out-you will not be disappointed. If you don't like them, they make it easy to try something else or return them. I kind of wished I bought more than one pair when I bought them a while back, but fortunately, they gave me a coupon code for a discount since I lost my first pair. Only minus is, the arms are titanium, so they don't really give/bend like acetate or softer metals. not a big deal since they still hold just fine without a custom bend/fit around your head if you need that kind of adjustment. These should be standard issue for US Military because these are built to last.

These William Painter "The Level" shades are the very best-fitting sunglasses I've ever had. They are also understatedly cool. Really good for those of us with larger-than-average "melons"!

I am not sure I am cool enough to pull off the gold color but I am keeping them because I like the brown tint. I got Lasik last week and I needed to load up on sunglasses to plant where I would need them; car, travel bag, near my Onewheel for riding. I ended up buying two pair of Empires and when I saw how awesome they were, I bought a third pair of Empires and one of the gold Hughes. The Hughes are great because they block more wind from drying my just-laser-fried eyeballs. They also have a much bigger lens so more of your vision is protected from sun. I really expected these to be heavier. They are very light weight and SUPER comfortable to wear. I have been forced to get very expensive proscription sunglasses in the past and I have had lots of name brands, Ray Ban, Bolle, and Oakley to name the three most recent. These are WAY, WAY, WAY better sunglasses than all of those. More comfortable, more sturdy, clearly better quality. I bought four pair of William Painters so obviously I am impressed! Not one hint of regret from this guy.

Great pair of glasses I like them so much I have purchased 3 pairs. One in each car and one pair on the boat. Never will I be caught without them.
