  Two guys came out about 1/2 hour late but called beforehand, not a problem. One of the guys was in training. Both were very polite, courteous, and thorough. Test drove the car and nothing else was discovered. Wrote a check out on the spot like promised for the amount I was looking for. It took about an hour, but some of that was due to the training. I would recommend WhipFlip to anyone. There was however a problem that was my fault. The first time I scheduled an appointment, I didn't call to verify. And no one showed up. After calling back, I discovered the problem. Totally my fault for not reading the email properly.

  Whipflip offers a simple car-selling experience — the appraiser comes to your home driveway. They gave me an offer on the spot which matched my expectations — they beat the offer CarMax had given me, which gave me the monetary confidence to proceed (instead of selling privately). They print the check and hand it to you right there. Seems like they are super transparent about the simple $99 title transfer fee — I’m just waiting on them to pick up the car from my driveway (still within 72 business hours). Will update this if there are any issues! Otherwise, their new rep in south Jersey is super friendly and made the process simple. Thanks. :)

  I will say the experience was somewhat pleasant. The lady who came out was really trying her best to get the most that she could for me. However, the higher-ups just kept knocking the offer down. That was the most frustrating part. Sitting with her, and talking with her was very pleasant. But whoever are the people that are determining the numbers is like they don’t want to give you what you were asking for. I was selling a 2013 Jeep grand Cherokee with 140,000 miles. The car is in very good condition with some minor issues. Nothing major. And they still just didn’t want to try to give me what I was asking for which was 4000.They end up offering me $3499. When I was told in all reality all they’re going to do is take it to an auction. They end up offering me $3499.   The young man they sent out was very polite. His name is Patrick. He inspected the car thoroughly. After he spoke with his representative at headquarters the offer dropped by several thousand dollars. They were trying to rate a ten year old car like it was brand new. After I told them how wrong they were and insulted I was they came back up on the price. The guy that picked the car up didn’t even speak English and couldn’t find the key to the car. My wife had to go out and find it for him. Not a very professional outfit. I would warn all users to be aware of problems

  Very easy to work with these folks and they are quick. After agreeing on price it took less than 4 hours for them to arrive at my home, verify the condition of the vehicle, including a short test drive, sign over the title and have a check in hand. I used mobile deposit with my bank at 6pm and by 8am the next morning the check had cleared and I had spendable fun’s in my account. Wow! This is so easy. I’ll never put a used car ad anywhere ever again.

  Process for selling the vehicle was simple and easy, did the whole process in my driveway. The person that came to review my vehicle was extremely nice and courteous. The only negative was that I received an offer that was quite a bit lower than quoted online after vehicle was reviewed.   Overall, the service was good and the staff members with whom we had contact did their jobs well. My disappointment is with the "behind" the scenes staff. We were given an online quote and setup the appointment. As a result, we gave up an offer from a friend that wanted to purchase the car. The next day, we received a call from a representative to verify some information before the appointment as well as to tell us that the "staff" had reviewed the market numbers and the most we could be offered was a new and lower number. This was very disappointing as it was a "bait and switch" before anyone had seen the car. I informed the representative that I would keep the appointment to uphold our part of the deal, but if the intent was to send someone who was going to offer additional deductions, then do not waste everyone's time. We do not need to sell the car and it is a beautiful, clean car that was always housed in a garage and maintained by the dealership where it was purchased. The person that came to the appointment was professional and pleasant. The "staff person" she called and sent pictures to did provide her a lower price than the second price quoted to us. We declined. Finally, they did then offer the price quoted on the phone, but never considered the price they offered online and for which we had the printed copy. All other aspects of the services were very good. Therefore, sellers should know what is the lowest price you would accept and expect that the price quoted online is not accurate. The price for our car was lowered because of the market prices one day after the offer. No one had seen the car and this "adjustment" had nothing to do with any problems with our car. We had given an accurate description of the car and ratings as well as the required pictures. Our hope is that someone will enjoy the car as much as we did!

  My overall experience wasn't too bad but it wasn't too good. I got a text message the same day I received my offer and said that a car concierge was on their way to buy my car. This was on Sunday and they are not open on the weekends so that is def one thing I would fix. The car concierge that did come out for my appointment was very professional and because of them it made my whipflip experience a lot better than I thought it was gonna go. The offer I received online was no where near what the final offer was that was offered to me during my appointment. It started at $1300 and I ended up selling the car for $700 (because of the $99 fee.) The car concierge explained to me that the offer given online was given without a full review of my car and they did not put in a lot of details pertaining to the value of my car and it made the concierge look bad because he had to tell me that the offer online was pretty much N/A overall. Then he had to put all the info in himself, when it should have already been entered into the system. He walked me through the whole process and did everything he could to make sure I got that most I could for the car. Besides the offer being pretty much useless, they were on time and the process did not take that long. I would probably recommend whipflip but just know that the offer you receive online is probably not the amount that they will buy the car during the appointment.

  I was quoted a price for the car. The price was dropped $500 for some minor damage which I had addressed in the phone conversation. The car was 12 years old with low mileage, which I thought was in good condition for the year. I took the offer because I didn’t need a second car to pay for license , insurance, and inspection with all that goes with it. I think the drop of $500 was a bit much for the blue book value.

  Not a bad experience. Very thorough and precise. I was lowballed a bit and the process time frame for a pay off check is a bit extensive. When selling a car you want to be able to purchase a new car as soon as possible and since mine isn’t being paid off in a timely manor. I now need to wait till it’s paid off before I try to get a new loan. Kind of makes my situation difficult when you have a kid and only one car. The inspection tech that came was friendly and respectful. He made the experience a little less worse. I’d recommend this to anyone but I would leave with a caveat that it is not as user friendly as carvana. They give you the check and pickup the same day. It is super helpful so you can get your loan paid off in a timely manor. All in all if it wasn’t for the inspection rep I’d probably be giving it three stars. Give him a raise or a company car.

  Doubt I'll ever choose to own another car but if I did and had to sell it I'd definitely go to whipflip. I had an annoying sell that required alot of communication to finalize the deal. Both Ariel the agent and Chris the concierge honestly went above and beyond working with me to close out the sell. Took a total of 11 stressful days to have the auto loan paid off by them but it finally is done and I no longer have to worry about that car again. I'm super grateful not only able to pick up the vehicle but handle all the paperwork on the spot is so much better than searching for a dealership that gives a decent offer.

  Calls and texts between me and the reps were quite pleasant and very informative. I was told step by step on what would happen and they were on the nose. Two issues I encountered were 1) price I was given and sent as the sale price was not the same as final, but close Yes there was a long scratch on the door but I had made full disclosure of that verbally and thru pictures I advertised. 2). I don’t recall a fee of $99 be added to the sale, thus reducing final sale price. I understand the reasoning but should have been made aware upfront. Overall I would recommend WhipFlip to anyone selling a vehicle. They are a very professional company to work with.

  Amazing experience! Joshua Santiago was so easy to deal with and PATIENT! I had originally started my sales process about 3 weeks ago, not realizing how long it would take for my bank to send my title to me. Joshua stayed with me the entire time, checking in and even winning my business when another offer came in. Once I finally had my title in hand, Joshua was able to accommodate my schedule and get me on the calendar right away. My car concierge came out and my final offer was just as expected with no changes. I was paid on the spot and the car was picked up approximately 24 hours later. I will absolutely use WhipFlip again should the need arise! I will also be telling all of my family and friends to check them out first when looking to sell their car.   Overall, the experience was quick and easy. I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. One they nickel and dime you when the appraiser comes to check the vehicle. In the questionnaire, I disclosed that the car was not in perfect condition by rating the body “average”. This meant the body of the car had a couple dings and scratches. My vehicle had 2 small dings and one of the dings had a deep scratch that was about 1/2 inch long. They wanted to take over $1100 off the original offer. Outside of the two dings my vehicle was in “pristine condition”. This was the exact words the Appraiser used to describe the vehicle. He then went back-and-forth with the “boss” via text as I negotiated the offer. I would advise, when completing the questionnaire, you enter that your car is in excellent/pristine condition. This way, if you have a couple of minor scratches or dings you’ll be negotiating from a fair price point. Second, it takes two weeks for them to pay the financial company, if you have a car loan. I do not have an issue with the payoff timeline; I had an issue with them, failing to disclose this, which is forgivable, but failing to return my multiple messages is the second reason why I give them 4 out of 5 stars.. Lastly, they do not take the car the day of the appraisal. I didn’t really have a problem with this. A gentleman came on a Friday to appraise the vehicle and someone picked it up on Sunday. I did not have to be home for the pickup, when I came home from church the vehicle was gone. After all was said and done I sold my vehicle to them for $600 less than their original offer. I would definitely recommend this company, they are legit, but I they will definitely haggle you a bit on pricing for a minor scratch or ding. Lastly, they charge $99 for processing the necessary paperwork to transfer title/ownership.

Did a little research and realized they are indeed a legitimate company. It was a very easy transaction once we agreed on a price, a very very fair price at that.   Customer service was great. They came and looked at the car, went for a short test drive and I had my check -- the agreed upon amount without surprises-- within an hour. It was super easy. I took off the plate and they left it in my driveway for a pickup in a couple days. I took the check to PNC, where they put a 5 day hold on it, so while I got the check quickly, I still dint have the money in hand. Unless I amend this review later, we can all assume the funds were dispensed without further ado give days from now. Overall all, much better offer than a private sale or dealership trade in, and IL I'd definitely use them again in the future.

  I was a little hesitant to use Whip Flip at first as I’d never heard of them, but needed to sell a car as an executor of an estate. Whip Flip did not require me to go to DMV (as their competitors do) to transfer the title to my name and pay the transfer fee-which is the #1 reason I chose to work with them. Whip Flip saved me time and inconvenience. We met their rep, Alexander M at the car’s location and within an hour had a check in hand for the previously agreed price. Alexander was personable and made the transaction a pleasant experience. From start to finish, the experience was top notch! I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if needed!

  The gentleman who came to assess my car was very nice and professional. However, I told the guy on the phone ahead of time that I had a hole in my floor. When they assessed the vehicle, they took an additional $200 off of my quote. Plus $500 off for “scratches”…they are smudges. I was not happy with how non-transparent this company was. They split my quote in half when I was completely honest upfront.

  Had not heard of WhipFlip until the site popped up on my phone one morning. Process to submit was easy, including submitting numerous photos which I expected captured an acurate condition of the vehicle exterior. Unfortunately received a final offer of $400 less after someone came out to physically inspect the car, which was $800 less than what i was asking. Andrea(?) In dispatch was fantastic in explaining the process, Chris was professioanl when evaluating the vehicle and the check cashed immediately. Good experience overall.

  Fairly simple, had a few issues the team seemed to be able to work out collectively as a whole. Very accommodating to our home schedule and worked around that for us.
