  Went to Wayfield & Sons shop in Manhattan as they said they had the Tiffen 58mm filter in stocks. However they could not find it, disappointing. So went home and check on line. Yes, they had it in stock, online. Ordered it. Must be same computer system as I received a mail saying they were actually out of stock. Waiting delivery, mid April, well at least that's what the computer says.....

  Great customer service and competitive pricing with quick shipping I have recently purchased 2 items from Wayfield & Sons and both times the service was first class. I will call out in particular the first time. I bought a Canon EOS 5DS R Camera that I added in my cart to buy the next day as I had to transfer money from a savings account, however the special ended overnight and contacted their customer service via online chat the next day. They understood the scenario and gave me a discount code to recognize and honor the scenario and price. This is great service. I ordered the camera and it arrived next day. (I am in Alabama) Second item was a teleconverter, also after very friendly customer service on their live chat. Bought it on the Thursday and item arrived on the Friday - Fantastic shipping speed, both times! Thank you Wayfield & Sons , you are certainly my no 1 go-to place for my camera gear from now on!

  Online shopping could not be easier with Wayfield & Sons. Contacted them regarding a camera I wanted to purchase. Sales person Craig was very professional with great communication. Within 5 minutes the purchase was made and dispatched same day, camera arrived two days later.   Was never straight to the point when it came to staff assistance. Spent a lot of time standing around after being told to wait there for a second, while more information was gathered about questions that we didn’t ask. An hour to buy the tv we had gone in to buy when all we asked was “is it in stock for today?”

  I bought this lens hood instead of generic brands because it got better reviews and it's made by my lens manufacturer. The fit seems a little tight and I've had some trouble using it (I'm used to my old Tamron lens and hood) but it is very good quality and is meant to go with my lens.

  I have bought a number of Leica products from Wayfield & Sons and am delighted with the service. The staff there are very easy to deal with and really know about their products. This is rare and I should know as I teach customer service and communication skills internationally! If you are interested in photographic equipment I can't think of anyone better to go to!

  THE only place I have been able to find AAA Lithium batteries. Good luck trying to locate these batteries in all major supermarkets in this area. I made the mistake of traveling from the UK without these items and spent a week trying to locate (yes I was all set to order on Amazon but didn’t think it would be so hard to locate).   I have been a customer here for over 30 years and although the staff may have changed the customer service hasn't - they were excellent then and they are still excellent today. On my last two visits I bought a Manfrotto bag and a Sony a6600. On each occasion Josephs the owner (there's Craig the assistant too) got me to fill out a few extra forms that other sellers wouldn't find the time to help with. The upshot was - free extra bag from Manfrotto and cashback from Sony. Result - happy customer and more repeat business.

  I had to get some circular polarizers and a memory card. Popped in to the shop and the range wasn't much and I had to settle for what little they had. Anyway I didn't get to use the memory card and returned it a couple of days later on my way back. While they accepted the return, I was treated as if I had committed a fraud. No hello what can we do for you etc. Just take the card, give the money and turned his back on me. I have dealt with Craig in Wayfield for many years and the other staff there were always wonderful. I expected a similar experience. Perhaps it explains why the shop seemed deserted while B&H Photo video a few yards down looked busy.

  This Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III camera is a keeper, it may not be the best in all areas but it does everything asked of it very well. Olympus premium quality control and the fit and finish are top level. The 12-40mm kit lens is also high quality. I ordered this camera late on a Friday morning and it was on its way to me by Friday evening, arriving exactly when scheduled. Kudos to Wayfield & Sons and their crew, well done!

  Simply the best! I cannot fault Wayfield & Sons on anything. Their service is excellent and their prices extremely competitive (usually the lowest out there). Just bought a second hand battery grip for my 5D Mk IV and it was both a bargain and its condition exceeded their description by far (very pleased with that item).   I use this Nikon D850 camera for portrait and event photography. The combination of this camera body and lens is unbeatable. I have not found anything about the camera that I do not like. On the customer service side and product delivery from Wayfield & Sons was incredible. I ordered my camera on Monday and received it on Friday and that was with a holiday in the middle of the week! The packaging was great and they had the best deal to offer with some free stuff thrown in. Can't beat that with a monopod! The type of photography that I do is mostly landscapes, family portraits, and weddings.

  Great value but struggled with delivery. Ordered a used Mamiya Leaf Credo camera from these guys which was a good 20% cheaper than elsewhere. Unfortunately the item did arrive after a few weeks. Contacted the site who initially sent me a FedEx tracking code which was not recognized by the courier. The team were very helpful however and ultimately refunded the amount. Some great bargains here but allow time for delivery and make sure you have banker's protection.

  I shop in here quite often being a photographer. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to photographic equipment. There is a nice selection of new and used equipment, all at very good prices. Sometimes they may not have what you need, as they are a reasonably small shop, but they are happy to order it for you.

  Initially rang the Wayfield and Sons shop in Manhattan to enquire about a Panasonic HC-X1500 4k seen online. I got very good assistance and as a result rang later to reserve a unit. On arrival at the shop the 2 gentleman were very welcoming and extremely helpful. After trying out the camcorder I made a purchase. I was particularly impressed with the covid compliance, everything was sanitized as we went along. The Panasonic camera is very good. Thank you both very much.

  Every single online order myself and my partner has placed with Wayfield & Sons has been delayed or backordered without explanation. They do not inform you when items are placed on backorder.   Review Sigma 150-600mm lens Love my new lens. Helps with taking pictures of birds in a distance. A great lens from an outstanding company. Been waiting to purchase this from Wayfield& Sons to do my Birds and Landscapes shots. So happy with the results from this lens! Is my first experience with your website.   Very sturdy monopod. Professional quality. I use this Manfrotto XPRO monopod with both camera and binoculars. Best points: Great built, light and sturdy. I love Manfrotto Tripods and now I liked very much the monopod. I like the smoothness of the movements you can achieve with this. Lesser point: heavier than most backpackers would prefer, but to me the trade-off in superior quality is worth the few extra ounces.

  Great deal! Worth the Price! Lots of compliments! I first saw this MAMIYA RB67 Pro SD in a retail store that's way to expensive. Checked online and first thing that came out was from WAYFIELD & SONs online shopping that came with a camera & film box which I think was a great deal and doesn't hurt my pocket. Love the pix too!. I got lots of compliments on my camera- been telling them i bought it from wayfieldandsons.com website.

  AMAZING CAMERA & Great company to work with I purchased this Canon SX70 HS camera for a back up of the one I already had. It goes way beyond my expectations. I have used several canon bridge cameras but this one is the best. Higher pixels and sharper pics. Easy to handle and a good price for a camera can that can do so much. I wasted my time trying to order this from Wal Mart and that was a big mistake. Wayfield & Sons sent me emails when the camera would come it and I could order it then. Amazon will not do that. Wayfield & Sons shipped it right away and I received it very quickly.

  After a few days of having money taken from my PayPal wallet I hadn't heard anything more, and they weren't answering the phone so I sent an enquiry email asking for details about stock levels and turn around times or a refund, otherwise I'd have to raise a charge back from my a/c. They did respond to this with a claim that the items were being shipped that day. They weren't shipped for two more days, with a constant extension of shipping estimates due to FedEx logistical issues with the COVID 19 pandemic. I'd simply appreciate accurate and honest answers and timeframes instead of avoiding contact and inaccurate information. UPDATE: it did arrive within the specified timeframe. Clearer communication would have been appreciated.

  I do like the store, though I wish they'd put prices on the stock...to be honest I already know the price from the website(who buys cameras/lenses with no discount). It does feel a bit like a museum....wish they'd put the boxes in the display cabinets so you can see all the specs..
