  At the beginning of the trip, the lock on the Manfrotto Carbon tripod broke. Because I was on vacation, it’s a pity to spend time combing photo shops, then I went to the store with the largest selection of tripods and heads, from what google suggested. Moreover, he was open on Sunday. The choice was surprisingly great for such a small store. Quickly chose a new tripod (but much of what was announced on the site was on order). I did not really consider the rest of the assortment, but, it seems, there is also a good choice. Part of the used goods is decently priced.

  Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm F/1.8 S gave me impressive optical performance, contrast, color, distortion and focus is extremely good, right up there with the best primes. Im having a lot of fun shooting with this lens, especially with available light even in near darkness. In good light, with lower ISOs the image quality is amazing. Thank you Wayfield, it's a high-performance piece of glass!!

  They buy old equipment that is in excellent condition - would probably get more on Adorama but it is easier to use Wayfield&Sons.

  Canon MR-14EX flash does what it's supposed to do, it's well made and dependable. The guys at Wayfield&Sons are awesome, they stock up on high quality gear and their customer service is impeccable, really high standard. This camera store is highly recommended.

  It's an Aladdin's Cave for a photographer, they have all tripods, heads, mini tripods, quick release, accessories and monopods. Wayfield&Sons is awesome. They really care about their customers and I would highly recommend that you shop there. They really saved my butt! I'd give 10 stars if I could.

  I've never felt impelled to write a review on these platforms before but I learned about various camera shops in the market and read the reviews here before going to retail world. I went on an afternoon and it was quite busy but well staffed. A polite sales assistant asked me if I needed help and quickly got the lens I was looking for. I tested it on my camera and he even let me photograph my friend as a test subject. Overall they were efficient and very friendly with a price that matched B&H Photo.

  DJI Mavic 2 Pro flies much smoother & faster than the original Mavic and the image transmission to the receiver is much cleaner and higher res. The staff were helpful, friendly and they had a lot of knowledge. The store seems to have a good stock of cameras and equipment. I am super happy with the personal service from my order assistant to the financing. The product checks out beautifully and shipping and the whole process was awesome, THANK YOU WAYFIELD &SONS !

  Ricoh GR III Unleashes Lots of Fun! I love, love, LOVE IT! I love how small, sleek, and powerhouse the Ricoh GR III hides underneath! Perfect for street photography, this application the GR III is nearly perfect. I can get tactically close to subjects with this camera, with much less pussyfoot than required with a Leica M10 and Q2. Excellent Camera shop with an Excellent selection. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

  I bought a Sony A7C camera two weeks ago from Wayfield &Sons. When I received it, I was amazed by the build and capabilities of this camera. Most importantly, the flip-screen makes your work a breeze during video recording. Explained everything about my new camera compared to one I had bought elsewhere, I am amazed by its optical performance and the convenience you get because of the compact design of the lens. What an absolute treat to receive such kind and personal service which these days feels so lacking. So much appreciated and I couldn’t have wished for more helpful personnel. Thank you so much, you saved my bacon!

  Bought TG-6 for my wife to shoot better pictures than she can get from her Smartphone while allowing her to upload its images to other devices. This camera give so much information about your location, conditions, great photos, durable in the ocean and for scuba diving.

  We ordered photo albums of our wedding before New Year as a gift for the in-laws. The album arrived on time, but in shoddy quality, all of them were requested in pixels, especially in large sizes - which must be framed ... We had to order a photo album from another provider for the same pictures, it is beautiful and impeccable, so there was no problem with the store. (It is unfortunate that they do not implement seamless digital photo processing like the other place ...) I only recommend it to anyone who needs a photo really fast and sacrifice quality.

All prominent brands including Avangard Optics, BRESSER, BrickHouse Security, Bush Baby & Brite-Strike. This is a Mecca for all genius locally-made surveillance devices.

  Ordered an Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark III, it's an amazing upgrade from original E-M1. This is a versatile camera, so well built and so able to perform under any scenarios. It is ergonomically snug in my hands with intuitive access to all of the controls. This camera is also incredibly easy to personalize to which ever interests a photographer might have for their technique of shooting. Incredibly fast and gifted with the most nifty capabilities that allow one to explore photography in so many ways. The images come out crisp and sharp with high-contrast and rich hues, the quality is just superlative!

  Josephs and Rose rock - the high level of customer service and desire to make sure you're happy with your purchase is unparalleled. There are a lot of photography shops in Manhattan, and only a handful that really go above and beyond for their customers. Wayfield and Sons is one of them.

  I enjoyed my experience, for the most part. My only complaint stems from the shipping company, not Wayfield and Sons, NYC. One day shipping ended up being 8 days. Filters kit. Josephs was super awesome, with the assist from Rachel. Solved all my problems, and I'm a super happy camper. Owner, give them a bonus. Thank you most kindly Wayfield. You'll get my business in the future. :) Highly recommended. Add a pair of up thumbs to the 5 stars.

Well versed staff that have the knowledge required to help you make that perfect purchase. If you are wanting knowledge on the hobby to become a part of the Astrophotography community, this would be a great place to ask. Fully stocked shop. Competitive pricing on lenses makes them my main choice for upgrades. Best stocked dealer of all the major brands of Nikon. Such as Leica, Olympus, Fujifilm, Canon, Pentax & Sigma, Panasonic, and many, many more. Plenty of parking at this outlet.

  A Mecca of Electronics products in the heart of Manhattan! Wayfield & Sons not only stocks digital and film cameras, lighting, underwater equipment, audio, TVs, laptops, and drones. Amazing experience, Great place and Wonderful people. Bought an LG TV for gaming, didn't use it and realized it wasn't for me, after 8 months I go and they take it back , no questions asked. Who would do this?? Bought a camera from them recently and hats off to their courtesy , client management, delivery and after sales. Kudos to Josephs, Neboja and Rose. What a great team, an Awesome experience each time you get in touch with them.

  I bought a Lensbaby Velvet 56mm F/1.6 for floral, landscape and fine art photography, so I had seen lots of reviews and ordered this lens. The lens is really special in the look it delivers. The name Velvet is really synonymous with the stunning bokeh and I love the whole feel of the lens. I love exquisite, romantic images and I feel like this lens has helped me in creating this splendor. If you're looking to get ethereal oeuvre, for the price, I would definitely recommend this shop for Special Effects Lenses.

  To be quite honest, I've been a fan of the Pentax film cameras since 20 years ago. This is my FIRST Pentax KP. This camera is choked with features, sculpted like a tank and mates into a dozen of lenses that can be used with it, including the top-of-the-line LEGACY versions. The kit offered by Wayfield&Sons is hard to beat! This photography store is head & shoulders beyond the big chain stores! I'm gonna enjoy using the store for my Pentax camera needs. It's really a sweet store!

  Purchased the Magnus VT-4000 Tripod System w. Fluid Head, it is a radical revolution to the way I operate my camera now. This is my first Magnus tripod, and so far both design and quality are impressive for the price. The swing action, up and down are very smooth with this head. The head will adjust autonomously of the tripod legs so you can level with the bubble without the obtrusive leg-leveling. Well worth the investment if you're looking for a good quality economical filming tripod.
