  The Nikon Coolpix P950 camera is excellent. the 83x zoom is brilliant, really good quality at an distance when on full zoom it is recommended that you use a tripod as it’s understandably difficult to keep the camera still.

  Purchased the GoPro9 from Wayfield & Sons with an offer of a free 64 Gb memory card. However, they advised me that they didn’t have stock of the card but would send this on once they had fresh stock in. True to their word, the card arrived about a week later!👍

  Panasonic DC-S1H is perfect for video applications with superior autofocus, low light performance, and codecs for ease of editing. It has good, reliable, and fast AF. This model allows me to easily adjust settings in order to accommodate different environments. The S1H is a superior camera but needs extreme technique to really make it shine. It offers an amazing array of advanced features for its price.

  The Celestron 70EQ is a good starting telescope. I wanted a more powerful scope for Saturn especially if youre hoping to see the rings, I would recommend maybe using a 25mm eyepiece that's standard that would be good for focusing close range. But its a good scope to start with and get comfortable with navigating your way around the sky. Then you can move up later.

  Need better communication with customers. Good range of chemicals and reasonable prices. Dropped a star because there was no indication of when the out of stock item would turn up. As it happened, the stop bath arrived the morning I set up to process some film.

  I really like Wayfield & Sons, the selection was great. However I can find better priced products online, also their advisors could have done a bit better job. For example, I bought a 50mm 1.2 lens for my crop sensor camera, but I was not told a 35mm could have done better job. But over all, my experience was good there, happy to go back .

  I was given sound and very helpful advice prior to the purchase of a used Sigma Teleconverter that reassured me of its compatibility with my camera/lens combination . I placed my order and accepted their free delivery service as I was not in immediate need of the adapter so I was more than pleasantly surprised when the delivery was made the following day. The condition of the teleconverter was as described on the Wayfieldandsons.com website.

  I bought a camera mainly for recording online videos for church during the week and pictures for events. It's mainly on my desk during the week recording videos and the eye focusing is perfect because I don't have to ever worry about the video not being in focus. Camera works perfectly too!!!

  New to photography, I LOVE it! I absolutely love my new Canon EOS R! Overall this is a GREAT camera and even for a new photographer like myself.   Mamiya Auto Extension Tube #1 Photography is a hobby. Most noticeably, the auto-focus was spot-on even that close. Personally, I feel much more confident using the Mamiya Extension Tube as opposed to other makes. I now have a way of digitizing negatives that costs so much less than the kind of scanner I would need for that kind of resolution. And, of course, Wayfield & Sons service was excellent as ever.

  I bought this Nikon Nikkormat EL 35mm SLR camera for shooting architecture and it works great. The package contains: one Nikkormat EL camera body, one 28/2.5 lens, one Nikon neckstrap, one front lens cap and one brand new battery. I bought the kit during a price reduction at Wayfield & Sons which I feel was a good deal. The Zoom Nikkor AIs 35-70mm F/3.3-4.5 zoom lens that came with the kit works well for a walk around lens and shooting people around home. The past reviews gave an excellent overview of what the camera can and can't do, I wouldn't recommend it for landscape, product/architecture subjects. Very happy with my purchase.

  Sony BRAVIA XR Series A80J 55" OLED TV I purchased the Sony Bravia because the last one I had lasted 10 years. No doubt it has the best picture, but the smart TV features are really bad and Apple TV is going to get reconnected. I was hoping not to have to use a third-party box, but the apps on the Bravia TV just aren't that stable and the UX is not good. Waste of money! Three stars to wayfields

  Delay in delivering offers! Wayfield & Sons have good service and good offers. I bought rebel SL3 with 3 offers of bag, card and tripod. The only disappointment was the time it took to get each of the added items. I still dont have the bag and will have taken 6 weeks from purchasing the Rebel SL3. If you are happy with that no problem I was not hence only 3 stars.

  Initially disappointing experience but impressive response Ordered a printer cartridge for 'click and collect' as I live close to main Wayfield and thought it would be more simple than just turning up. Item was in stock but collection availability notification took 3 days. When I was able to collect, the shop had to call through to warehouse to get the item so it's far from clear why it took so long for them to 'allow' collection. I try to support smaller/local companies over multi-nationals but sometimes they don't make it easy!

  I have a bad experience with this store, so my Panasonic tv broke down after 3 years, I took it to the store after a few days I got a message that it is not suitable for repair and I was offered a new tv equivalent to the previous one, but I decided to replace it with a higher model so shop bought from me a new tv which Panasonic offered me not for the price they have put up in the shop about 250 pounds less (Wayfield & Sons is an authorized shop Panasonic), ok I agreed with their decision I bought a new tv (higher model). The next day I took it to the store, broken the motherboard and the screen panel. After two weeks, the TV came back only with the repaired motherboard and the panel still was not repaired. it's been one month now and nobody knows what's next ... I'm afraid that when the TV comes back it will not be 100 percent repaired. One star should be more then enough.

  I'm mostly an outdoor/wildlife photographer using Pentax equipment, but I have used OM-D as lightweight travel cameras. Now with the M Zuiko 40-150 PRO I am starting to optimize my M43 kit for wildlife. I'm new to Olympus and have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of their products. This is a great lens at a price that matches!

  I hired a lens without much trouble, just very poor customer service. Staff were rude and dismissive, hardly acknowledging I was there even when I would say hello and goodbye to them all. Witnessed another customer be greeted very warmly with smiles. Disappointing. Please treat all customers equally.

  I have been doing more Architectural and Lighting Design Photography. I was looking for a full frame camera that shoots well in low light (VERY little noise) and could work well with long exposures, I bought the Canon RP (superior upgrade to Sony a6400). I've been pleased with low-light images. I opt for lower ISOs, longer shutter speeds with a tripod for low light work. Getting very nice results with the recently release 50mm for the R-series.

  Excellent shopping this afternoon whilst buying a pair of binoculars. I received objective, expert advice without there being a sense of any pressure to buy or to be steered towards a more expensive model that didn't suit my needs or budget.   I love this lens! This Zeiss Batis 25/2 has a high aperture like Sigma Art Series. I keep this lens on my Sony a7III full time. It is sharp as a tack, compact and will focus at around 9 inches which creates some beautiful images, but it is not a macro. I can highly recommend it, especially for the price.

  I ordered this EM1-mk2 with the 12-40mm pro lens for a trip to Zambia where I viewed and photographed Victoria Falls during Summer. It can be used in rain, snow, sleet, etc. I have an em-1 mki and have used it in harsh weather conditions with zero problems. The mkii should be just as good or better. At the beach, if it were me, I wouldn't hesitate to use the camera, but when finished would thoroughly wipe down the camera with a damp cloth to get rid of any salt that was adhering to it.

  Was recommended to me by a friend from Manhattan and I am super happy to have found such a rare treasure trove of photo shops! Excellent selection of cameras, you will always find an exciting new camera there and also help with repairs. Most cameras can be repaired here and in the rare case that this is not possible, there is a tip where this could be done! I wish such a business would also exist in New Orleans!

  The Leica handgrip for the Q2 camera is a truly excellent addition toy your Q2. it improves the camera's ergonomics by light years. It is even priced within reason (thank you for that, Leica). It is also well made and looks good on the Q2 - not too large or unwieldy at all. Highly recommended suppliers.

  Bought a Nikon P950 many years ago from them. Not an expensive professional type camera and no doubt nothing for them to get excited about but they treated me the same as if I'd spent thousands on a camera - and gave all the help and answers to my dumb questions as I needed. I live in South Dakota and am happy to drive to NY to visit them as they give the personal touch even to beginners like me.

  I rang and purchased a Leica M-7 Rangefinder to use with a Leica 28-70mm Vario-Elmarit that I had been using for street photography. Spoke to Craig , the owner and mentioned I had not dealt with them before. He knocked down the price and waived carriage. Told me what day it would arrive, and it did. Body is first class condition, no scratches let alone dents! A nice little handwritten note and a small packet of sweets too! A very warm welcome to a new customer, will certainly shop here again.

  Went on Saturday and Josephs and Craig gave fantastic advice and helped me purchase the camera and bits I wanted with their expert knowledge.   Really amazing shop, recently purchased a Canon G-III QL17 in immaculate condition. Wish there were more shops like this for film cameras, but when there's one this good it's hard to complain. Incredible range of basically everything you'd need for film photography. Loved how cameras are stacked everywhere high and wide. Thanks a lot I'm sure I'll be returning!

  Placed my order today as Tax Exempt, the credit card Billing address did not match my shipping address. BOTH located in Texas and that is the sales tax and use form I submitted. Our warehouse and school administration offices are not at the same address. The credit card's billing address is the corporate office address. I think it's kind of difficult for the user to process and order this way. Now I'm waiting on an email to see if I can get the credit card location registered as tax exempt. I gave up. I placed my order and I'm paying the tax but I'm unhappy about it.
