  So helpful. I drove an hour and a half here to find some macro accesories I needed and it was well worth it, the service was exceptional and I found everything I needed, which no other photography shop in New York had.   Colin Smith Guide to Drones. Hands-on book which gives me treasure troves of valuable knowledge about flying a drone and get nice still & motion shots. I love that book. It includes useful flying techniques to achieve successful results along with photography techniques specific to drones. Store has a vast collection of imaging books and tutorials. Recommended!

  I partook a commercial photography webinar with these guys last Thursday and I must say it was fantastic. The staff are incredible, know their stuff and are only too happy to help.   I just got the Tamrac Professional Series Anvil 17 for my run &gun backpack and it was a great choice. I can fit all I need for my documentary work (Canon EOS C70+ Nikon Z6 + lenses and adapters + laptop, etc). It's just perfect for the job and is definitely more portable than the ThinkTank I was using before for this kind of shoots. I am really very happy about it!

  Fantastic service I visited here to swap my broken lens. The staffs are so kind that they try to find the best way to get my new glass.   After hearing a lot of good things about Wayfield from buddies I decided to jump from Canon DSLR with one of their used Sony alpha. Wanted to trade my old camera in which was in good condition. Originally quoted $200-320 but because I didn't have the original charger dropped by $80. Hardly something that matters when it still charges the battery fine. I still purchased my new one from them but found that had a major defect where the bezel around the touchscreen was bent. However I was able to repair this myself. Overall not the quality of service I expected.

  Fantastic place. The knowledge and love for the equipment they sell is palpable. The person (might even have been the owner) that advised me genuinely wanted me to understand what I was potentially buying without a tinge of condescension. I felt informed rather than pressured. Without question, the very next piece of cine equipment I buy (probably ARRI) will be from this place. It's worth going just to have a look.

  I have a beautiful vintage Praktica BX10 DX - 1989 - 1990 that was damaged a little. These guys diagnosed the problem and fixed it brilliantly and without fuss. And the charges are fair and reasonable. My first-class German engineering vintage cameras go-to place from now on. Your gear is in safe hands with these guys. Would fully recommend.

  A terrific shop with a lot of excellent 2nd hand mirrorless, DSLRs and point & shoot.I had an Olympus OM-D E-M5 II SLR repaired there and have bough a little darkroom chemicals too. Owners are lovely people with a real passion for their products.

  An astronomer's paradise with an Aladdin's cave of astrophotography and star-gazing equipment it is rammed from floor to ceiling with every type of refractor or optical tube assemblies and other accessories. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Hiring equipment is easy too.

  I have had nothing but excellent experiences with this company. I'm a student of Astrophysics and all of my astronomy optical equipment has been purchased from Wayfield over the last 7 years. Of the two incidents whereby I've needed to claim against the warranty, the Wayfield team has been excellent, arranged collection, and delivered a replacement Achromatic Refractor /Barlow lens within a matter of days.   This place is a rarity of the modern digital photography age. Staff here are SO lovely and helpful, so nice to actually connect with other human beings and be seen as more than a source of their income! Proprietor is a great guy (I think he was the owner, anyway), he even let me have a Dual 3.5mm/USB-C Adapter as a Christmas present! Thank you so much!   I've been a customer for many years, always had great service. When the going gets tough they have always delivered even if it means delivering by hand half way up the country. The team are very approachable to chat with and always have the first new cameras and lenses. The online availability system makes booking equipment very easy and takes the pain on planning multiple items for hire. Easy next day delivery and next day pickups means you have time to set the camera up before the shoot and time to copy everything at the end with out any hassle. Something you pay a lot for from New York rental companies. Will continue to use Wayfield & Sons in the future. Great job!

Then day later they sent a photo of my item, then few days after I got a 24hr tracking number and received it within 7 days and they emailed me within an hour anytime I had a question.   An exceptional photography store. I've never come across a friendlier, more accommodating and helpful group of people than the staff at WAYFIELD &SONs. Craig, in particular, was really helpful in assisting me when I was looking for an FTZ adapter, but everyone in general made the shop a fun and welcoming place to visit.   I ordered my Sony A7R III and Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS lens from WAYFIELD&SONs on 6th May. I received an email to say my order has been processed with a photo of my items and my paperwork on 11th May. On the 12th of May my items were delivered to me. both items work perfectly. They both came in their original boxes with all the documentation. I am very happy with them!

  Samsung TU8300: This product is excellent! It has nice colors and high speed performance for sport events. My kids love the size and especially the brilliant colors of the movies. It is easy to add on channels and to navigate with the remote control. We are happy with this unit.

  Superb selection of cameras (all popular brands), photo/video auxiliary equipment and drones. No.1 stop for everything photographic. Staff are knowledgeable in their field and are polite and friendly to deal with. The shop has secure parking but is also on main subway routes. It's been in Manhattan for years and hopefully will be around for many more years to come.

  I am a professional real estate photographer and have dealt with WAYFIELD & SONs on several occasions. At the top end of the scale I bought a Leica V-LUX (TYP 114) from them, at the bottom end, a 62mm UV filter. In between there have been different items at different prices, some in stock, some specially ordered. I have bought in-store and via their website. Once I made a mistake with the shipping, meaning to opt for 24hr but selecting standard instead, a chap called Craig sorted that immediately. In every case the service has been impeccable. Nowadays it is difficult enough to find such good service let alone receive it consistently over a period of time. I thoroughly recommend WAYFIELD & SONs to anyone who wants great products at a great price with second to none service. Just about everyone on the planet I would have thought!

  Quite an upgrade! I purchased a Sennheiser MKE 60 podcast kit. The difference between the sound captured with this mic and via the built in mic on my camera is as different as chalk and cheese. Great sound! Clean and quiet. Great mic for the money.
