  Nice web interface. Easy to navigate and order tests. Links for scheduling appointments was appreciated as well. While some lab tests can be ordered directly through the Quest website, There are several key tests available through Walk-in Labs that are not available directly through Quest. This is a big plus.

  Walk-In Lab offers many tests . Tests cost about one-third of what they would cost if ordered by your doc but refused by insurance. Just refuse the uncovered test on the doctor's order and hen order the same test from Walk-In. Go back to the very same lab for the blood draw and analysis.

  We’ve only done one test so far however, it was very easy and less expensive. The reps on the phone were friendly, explained everything, and any questions we had regarding procedures, locations, costs etc. were answered. Locations were nearby, so no driving all over the place.

  I order a ALCAT home test. I drove to LabCorp, then was told they cannot draw blood for this test. They said almost nobody can draw blood for these test, and that I should go to the hospital. I go to the hospital and they said that they will not draw blood for these test. I then called the number on the test and they have no idea where I can get blood drawn for this test so I go to urgent care that has a lab and they said there is a ton of information missing that should’ve been included. I call walk-in labs again and the lady answered my question before I even finished asking it. I assume she gets this question a lot. The diagnosis number has to be included on the order that is included with kit, it was not. Also, the address of the provider who signed off on the order. Which also wasn’t included. So after about 30 minutes of phone calls, we were able to get everything figured out this 100% could’ve been avoided if they included this very simple information to begin with. Due to that, I would not recommend these test as they are extremely overpriced, and you are not paying for the completion of the kit as advertised. be prepared to do a lot of footwork and spend a couple hours gathering the information needed to get the blood drawn if you order these kits. Very poor job on behalf of the staff who approved the sale of these kits.

Specimens of Home Test Kits requiring a blood draw must be collected at a participating lab. Under our home test kit category this is stated along with the lab locator for home test kit blood draws. https://www.walkinlab.com/home-test-kits-require-blood-draw. Unfortunately LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics do not do blood draws for home test kits. The kits come straight from the kit companies so anything you need should be included in the kit.   Wow! Malinda, I’m assuming you either didn’t read my review or feel personally offended. Your response is incredibly condescending. For someone to be confused, they would have to have not understood directions, for example. Nowhere was it provided on the kit or your website a list of qualified or participating providers. Also intentionally withheld required information for any license lab to be able to pull bloodwork. There is nothing for a purchaser of this kit to be confused about. This kit is incomplete and requires vital information for someone to complete the lab work. I am sorry you felt offended and you are unaware of the products that you are endorsing and selling on your website. I would strongly suggest that you speak to your higher-ups and have them speak with qualified and licensed providers and or labs to make sure you can include required information on the order form. Hopefully you are not confused by any of this :)

  I am extremely pleased with Walk-in Lab's order and result processing. There were myriad labs to choose from. All the labs I needed for pre-employment were offered through Walk-in Lab, but I see that there were so many other labs I could have added if needed. I made a same-day appointment after ordering the labs. I got all of the results back within one week, some results even came the next day.

  We have to pay for all our lab costs up front. Walk-in Labs makes it affordable. The website is very helpful in describing the specifics of each test. Website also makes it very easy to order the blood work. I would definitely recommend them!

  I have stage 3 kidney disease and monitor my health and diet very closely. I am thankful for Walkinlab because they have provided the means through which many of us without health insurance can monitor our blood work and health. Their prices are unbeatable.   An excellent shopping and lab experience. You simply pick out any blood/lab tests you'd like to take, no need to see a doctor or get their permission since you're paying for this out of pocket so it's none of their business until you want it to be their business. Prices are reasonable, pick as many tests as you'd like. To illustrate, I wanted to get a thorough blood test on all my vitamin and mineral levels in my system, any deficiencies, plus some screening on cancer biomarkers for peace of mind. I just added those tests to the shopping cart, bought them, then used the WalkinLabs website to find a blood lab close to my home to get my blood draws at my convenience. It was so easy and all very professional, plus I received my results and a detailed report securely online. My insurance would have never allowed me to take these optional tests/screens otherwise. I look forward to utilizing WalkinLabs in the future for all my supplemental blood testing needs that fall outside of my preventative care plan under my insurance. Of course in some cases your insurance might even reimburse you through a healthcare savings account type product.

  As always, no problems throughout the process! This was, I think, the second time that I received a "partial" result, where one test had a notably quicker turn-around than the second one on the order. I don't recall this happening in prior years. Seems it used to be that one had to wait until all results were in before you'd receive them. Kind of nice to get them as they come in now, as I've had very simple tests paired with more complex ones with three or four times the turn-around time and had to wait until all were done before getting anything back. For example, pairing a CBC with its typical turn-around of a day or so with an obscure hormone test with a ten or more day turnaround necessitated waiting the whole ten days just to even see how the CBC looked. Whether this provision of "partial" results is standard practice now or not I can't say, so please don't base your expectations for your next order on my anecdote. Just relaying my good experience, is all!
