  I ordered my product as a gift towards the end of January but received no communication and saw my order sit in a pending status for a month. I was charged when I placed the order so it was strange I didn’t hear anything. I sent an email, received no response. I had to call and the representative said they would look into it but I didn’t hear back. Then all the sudden a few days later I got the email it was shipped. The product arrives but the journey to get there was frustrating.

  I have a pepper mill for years and works great. Hesitant to try the salt mill, heard so many complaints. Decided to try the Peugeot salt mill. Use it every day and I am so pleases I took a chance and tried. Wouldn't be without it.

  Received the pepper grinder I ordered in a box that obviously it wasn't intended for. The box was twice as big as the pepper grinder. Very disappointed as the grinder also didn't work as the one I demo'd in the store. Very hard to turn the handle. All in all very disappointed. Unfortunately my husband threw out the box so now I can't even return the grinder!

  The experience with the order was good, but the item arrived damaged. It does not appear the item was damaged in shipping so it's possible someone packaged a damaged item. I tried to submit a help ticket online but had to call in to get help. Overall the online tools seem to have some issues that should be addressed. Issues as follows. I tried to start a return thinking that would be the best way to get a replacement, but this was approved without follow up on my comments. I was also not able to upload photos due to a bug in the website code. The next attempt was to submit an email through the contact form, but I never received a confirmation of a follow up to that message. Ultimately I had to call in to get a replacement order started (this is still in progress). The person that helped me on the phone was great and sent a follow up email requesting pictures right away. Hopefully I can get a replacement grinder sent out soon. The damage is only cosmetic so I have the grinder to use in the interim.

  I had difficulty finding specific salt granule size that worked properly in the grinder. After buying several different salts locally I decided to see if Peugeot sold special salts that would work. I did order several of these after reading info on Peugeot’s site directly. If this information had been available with the grinder purchase it would have saved a lot of frustration. Note that I purchased the grinders from a reseller and not Peugeot directly. Very happy with the grinder now that I purchased salts directly from you.

  Ordered the Elis Sense Salt & Pepper Mills. The box didn’t have a packing slip and the box of mills came without any instruction booklet . I felt like this was someone’s return . I googled on how to fill the mills & watched the video on You tube . Both mills were extremely hard to turn from locking to unlocking . I contacted Ted customer service , Jeff, and after going back k & forth with emails he finally stated he would start a return authorization for me . I haven’t heard from him in a week & just emailed him once again with no response . Very disappointed in your customer service and your product . For the price of $200 , I didn’t expect this quality . The salt mill will not return to the locked position , only goes halfway . I will now contact my credit card company & dispute the charge .

  I returned these. My call to customer service was not warmly received even though I did my best to be friendly and provide my concerns so they could understand the consumer point of view on their product. I was cut off in mid sentence and forwarded to another representative who didn't want to hear the details again, just wanted to send me a return label. When I discovered that it wasn't a postage paid return label, I had to press further for a prepaid return label as I felt the one grinder was defective, and that the partial prefills with unlabeled ingredients was uncomfortable. That took about five minutes of the rep "checking with the supervisor" twice. In no case was any representative friendly or understanding.

  First I cannot believe within 1 year of purchasing expensive pepper and salt mills I have to special order replacement bulbs. Then I order and they are the wrong ones. They don’t even sell replacements in the US. An expensive waste of money. Never again.

  The crank is somewhat hard to turn using the long peppercorns but since I've never ground long peppercorns before it just may be the way they are. But I like the mill a lot, especially since it was the only one I could find that specifically mentioned it was for the long variety.
