  I recieved the product with missing part. I contacted the seller; however, the issue is not resolved. I can't use the product as of today. I called the office in USA, but so far I do not received any call back. Another product came with some pepper in it. I suspect that is a returned product.

  Found the replacement for a broken top screw -- you call a "jewel button." My only disappointment was that the shipping cost more than the actual product. But your grinders are forever, so over the course of its life it will be a great investment.

  Pepper mill came not functional and box was open. Moreover, there was a bunch of sea salt in it. Apparently, it was returned. And if it wasn’t enough to return this order i had to pay 20 dollars to send it back. So i paid 20 dollars to confirm that item is indeed broken. I won’t buy anything from store again and don’t recommend anyone to buy from it.

  I loved my first set of Peugeot S&P grinders so returned here when the salt grinder corroded due to the use of sea salt. Who knew sea salt is not appropriate for these grinders? I now know. The site navigation was great once I found the US version! I found it difficult to find enough detail online describing how to adjust the grind of the black pepper. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it.

  After 40 years our Peugeot pepper mill finally broke and it was clear to us it has to be a Peugeot. But we didn't plan to be in Europe before fall this year. While searching the internet, we found out that Peugeot is represented in the USA as well. Quickly we purchased a replacement for our old mill. It was easy to find the right model, to purchase it and a few days later it was in use in our kitchen. Surprisingly it came filled with pepper corns from Vietnam. If it serves us as long as the old one, it will be our last one.

  3 weeks since I ordered it and I still don’t have it. Customer service did not respond to email. Finally talked to human and there was a “shipping problem” - happy to do it all over again. No expedited shipping or credit. No thanks. Way too much hassle for something I can get elsewhere.

  Very pleased with Paris U select salt mill. Delivered sooner than promised. I’ve never had a salt mill before that enabled me to select 6 different coarseness settings. The mill is well made, smooth in texture, and has a nice grain.

  The packaging and delivery were outstanding. The pepper mill we purchased carefully wrapped for shipping before placing it into a sturdy cardboard box. We’ve had problems with a popular on-line retailer using plastic shipping bags in lieu of cardboard boxes. This has often resulted in damaged items and a return. We tried ordering direct from Peugeot and we’re impressed by the ordering, shipping and delivery process. The web site is very easy to use.

  Everything they make is superior high quality, No question about it. I brought one for my black pepper, one for my pink pepper, one for my white pepper and one for my black salt from Sicily. I also like that every mill matchs the color of the pepper. The salt mill is clear. "happy grinding"

  I already returned a review, I have received no reply, even though I asked for one. The grinder we received looked like it was not new, there was pepper in the grinder and the top was loose. I had already tried ordering one from Amazon. That grinder had salt in it and The box was clearly opened. I had hoped that ordering directly from Peugeot would be a better experience, but it wasn’t.

  Thank you for your feedback. All Peugeot mills contain spices so they are ready to season when you get them at home. The pepper/salt source and weight is indicated next to the bar code. Peugeot does not sell 'used' items. We hope you will give us another chance.

  Originally, I went to Sur La Table (Newport Beach, CA) expecting to buy the pepper grinder there. They only had a couple of items in black only snd too tall. It is s bit disappointing that fewer products are available in retail stores. On line I found the natural wood finish I desired. I bought the medium size as the smaller size was only offered in black or white.

  Although it took a while before customer service got back to me, they generously offered to send me an entirely new coffee grinder since the replacement glass part didn't fit right.   If you are on the fence, go ahead and order a Peugeot pepper mill. The chocolate color is lovely and the U select is so easy to operate. These babies last - My first Peugeot pepper mill (I am a home cook, so the first was not used in a commercial kitchen) lasted over 20 years. I am only replacing it because I misplaced a part when cleaning and now it does not grind as consistently as it should.

  The incorrect pepper mill was delivered, which was fine as mistakes happen. I notified the company and returned the incorrect pepper mill, only for them to go radio silent for almost three weeks without providing me a tracking number for the correct pepper mill. Eventually, the pepper mill I ordered showed up in the mail, but overall, dealing with the lack of communication as I emailed them weekly with no response back was fairly frustrating and I was very close to asking my credit card company for a refund. In addition to this, during this time frame where I failed to receive any response back, Peugeot held a 30% off sale on pepper mills. I asked if I could get a 30% discount on the pepper mill I ordered as it was their initial mistake, it had been weeks since I returned the incorrect pepper mill, and I hadn't received the correct one yet. However, this request was rejected when they eventually responded. Overall, the products themselves were fine. But given the lack of communication, lack of concessions despite their mistake, and their strict Terms of Sales where they do not accept any returns, I would not order from Peugeot again as the process was less than an enjoyable experience. Update: Received an apology and concession.

  One product (a ceramic baking dish) arrived damaged. These things happen. What shouldn't happen is that it has been a week since I contacted customer service about this issue and have heard nothing at all back. I did receive an automated email soliciting this review, however, and and I am happy to oblige.

  My pepper mill is wobbly. The bottom is cut uneven. I contacted customer service 2 times and didn’t hear back. I created a return and there is no shipping label to send it back. I’m not sure what to do with this expensive product that I really wanted and ended up being disappointed over. There is no # to call and they don’t respond to the “contact us” link so far the worst service I have had for an online purchase. It’s been 3 days now and I’m yet to hear from someone

  This is the first time I purchased a chili grinder and I’m super happy with the looks and performance. I use a salt and pepper grinder for more than 20 years as well, which was the reason to only look at this brand. Exceptional quality!!!

  The “Nancy” clear plexiglass salt & pepper mill set is okay, but not the Peugeot quality to which I am accustomed. The top squeaks when grinding. However, this set replaces the white painted set w/ paint that chipped 1/2” Dia all around the tightening bit at top of mill within 6 months of use! The paint chips were falling into the food when grinding salt. Such a disgrace for an expensive product!
