  Caitlin met us in our hotel lobby (on time) and did a wonderful job keeping our three early teens engaged during the tour. She was very knowledgeable and really seemed to enjoy talking about Boston and its importance in our nation's history.

  This was our second trip with Ted, the first having been in 2016. He is a wonderful guide to Guizhou Province. Our time with him on this trip was a day in suburban Guiyang. He is knowledgeable and is very enjoyable. Whenever we return to Guizhou Province, I will book Ted again. It is always a great pleasure to spend time with him.

  Family friendly tour of Evora We had a very enjoyable 3 hour tour of Evora with Olga. She met us on time at the hotel and then walked with us to some of the highlights of Evora including the Cathedral, Roman Baths, and the Ossuary. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Evora, even pointing out many Roman towers and where walls were Roman or of later origin. We were two adults and a 7 year-old boy who doesn’t always pay attention, but Olga was excellent with our grandson, who mostly listened to her and managed even to learn a few words of Portuguese. We ended up near excellent locations for lunch. Olga included lessons in few keywords for local lunch items as a part of our tour.

  Bo was great and gave us an extensive tour of Copenhagen, along with history and current events. He also recommended some vegan restaurants and craft breweries to try. We covered a lot of ground and had a great time!

  If you are looking for a guide who is striving to give you the best experience possible, then Aaron is your man. Aaron was knowledgeable about the wildlife, the history, and the geology of Yellowstone National Park. We visited Yellowstone during peak season and only had one day to spend. He took routes to minimize time on crowded roads. He customized a tour based on our desires. And he was very conscious and considerate of our needs for bathroom stops, snacks and water (both of which he had plenty).

  This was one of the best private tours we have had. Kjellfrid was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable as well as fun and welcoming. It was well planned and organized. I would recommend Kjellfrid to anyone.

  Sam was amazing! His knowledge of the area, sense of humor and flexibility made the day a joy. We had a medical situation arise with one of our party, faced a road closure and needed to alter plans due to high winds. Sam handled everything with calmness and always had a "Plan B" available for every turn of events. His goal was to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Later, he even texted to check on the health status of our member and to offer suggestions for the next port we visited.

  Our family of five (kids ages 9, 10, 13) throughly enjoyed our time with Michelle! She was prompt for pick-ups, knowledgeable about the sites seen, and helpful with her recommendations. The vehicle and driver she used were also excellent. The Panama canal and the museum were brilliant to see. Combined with Michelle's insights, it certainly makes you appreciate the impact of the canal (both good and bad) on this country and it's people. The tour of Casco Viejo was also great :-)

  I am so glad we found Frederic who was able to customize a tour for us within 2 days for my family of 6 to meet all our needs. The tour was very personalized and Frederic shared alot of great insights, history and culture of the place which has really helped us understand alot more about Japan He has alot of patience with us even as we took a bit more time in some places, making it a very relaxing, enjoyable and memorable trip for us. We are definitely looking forward to come back and try his other tours!

  Bassam provided an excellent Geo-Political tour of Ramallah. Bassam was flexible with timing and incredibly knowledgeable about Palestine. We really enjoyed meeting the locals and hearing about their everyday life. Bassam brought us to some hidden gems in the city and we feel like we got the most out of our time in Ramallah by hiring him.

  My family and I very much enjoyed our 3 hour tour with Lesley! She was very knowledgeable and passionate which made it a pleasure to explore old Montreal. We never felt rushed, she answered all of our questions, and always took the time to take a family picture for us. At the end of the tour we were ready to eat and asked Lesley for recommendations. She brought us to the most amazing smoked meat restaurant, which ended up to be one of our favorite meals! We would recommend Lesley to anyone!

  A fantastic tour! Michal was knowledgeable and well prepared. He took us to the remote village where my ancestors lived. We found the church where they were baptized and married; the cemetery where they were buried, the school attended by my grandfather, and the houses where my grandmother and grandfather were born. We even found and spent time with cousins who still lived in the village. His command of central European history put everything in perspective.

  Our visit to Malta was a highlight of our 11 day cruise with tour guide Trudy. We were a group of 6 and she was prompt and considerate of our needs during the entire day. ( beverages and restroom stops). Her enthusiasm for her country and the interesting history made us feel so special to be experiencing Malta thru her eyes and her passion. The van was comfortable with great air conditioning which was great in between stops. If you are planning a trip to Malta have Trudy show you the sites.

  Our tour in Delphi with Georgia went very well. All the arrangements worked well and we had a very enjoyable tour. Georgia was a very good guide. I highly recommend this tour. The only issue may be the price which was higher for our family of four than other similar tours in Greece.

  Jake's tour of Montgomery and Selma was memorable. Not only did he recount the history of the Civil Rights sites, but also added poignant personal stories of his involvement and details about his family. We highly recommend this tour. He speaks articulately and thoughtfully so that even hard of hearing folks can get the complete presentation! Thank you, Jake!

  Olivier was a fantastic guide through the Rhone Valley wine region. Not only was he a lovely person (thoughtful, good conversationalist), but he also knows a ton about wine. He had arranged visits at 3 different wineries, where we got private tours of the facility, tasted many wines (6-12 wines at each location). We learned a lot, drank great wine, and had a fantastic day.

  My husband and I had an opportunity to spend two days in Scotland and were overwhelmed with all there was to see. Through several references we were blessed to find Kirsten. Kirsten is the ambassador/hostess extraordinaire of Scotland! Prior to coming she helped us narrow down what we wanted to see then organized our trip. She is full of Scottish history and her knowledge is tremendous. Her flexibility and suggestions made our trip amazing. We did not want to leave Scotland or our newfound friend.

  We had a wonderful day with Valentina! Before our visit, Valentina worked with us to arrange a private boat tour from Sorrento to Amalfi and Rovello. Valentina selected an amazing captain from Giuliani Charters, who made the experience very special, including side trips, and toasting with a bottle of Prosecco when we were almost back to Sorrento. Along the way, Valentina made helpful suggestions about activities/eating in Amalfi and Rovello, and shared her insights of the surroundings. Lovely experience!

  We had an amazing day with Fabrizio! In planning the trip, Fabrizio worked with us to arrange a custom day tour of the Amalfi coast. Fabrizio suggested a visit to the Crapolla Winery, near Sorrento, which turned out to be the absolute highlight of our visit to the Amalfi Coast, given the amazing meal and the unbelievable hospitality of the owners. He then drove us to Positano (and back to our Sorrento hotel), with insightful commentary along the way. Grazie, Fabrizio!

  My granddaughter and I were fascintaed with the sites we visited on our tour of Alicante with Jorge. We did a lot of walking and learned many new and interesting things about this city. Jorge even took us to a small local restaurant where we had a drink and some tapas and visited with some local residents.We ended up with a stroll in the city center and found our day enhanced by this experience.

  Wilbert was wonderful! Courteous, thoughtful and thorough on his research of the Market Garden area. He was very attentive to the needs of my 97 year old WWII father. He picked us up at our hotel & made sure we were safely checked in when we arrived back after the long day. I would recommend him highly and give him over 5 stars if I could!!

  Outstanding tour of Toledo. Adolfo provided us with an excellent historical and artistic context for several sites in Toledo. Adolfo is a wonderful teacher - we learned so much about the history and culture, both past and current, of Toledo and Spain in a fun and relaxed way. He talked about the city with such pride and passion, making our time in Toledo even more memorable.

  We had a great time with Brian on our Game of Thrones tour. He was very knowledgeable and showed us the coolest sites in Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland. We saw the Belfast GOT "glasses", the Kings Landing set, Titanic studios, and my wife and daughter even got to try on Sansa's crown at the jewelry store where all the GOT jewelry was made. Brian went out of his way to make sure we had a great time, with costumes for pictures and authentic Hodor Beer! Would highly recommend Brian

  Chiara's tour with us of Taormina was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we met her she was charming and professional. Her knowledge of Sicilian history was second to none and it poured out of her with incredible ease. She led us through the centuries of history with an amazing level of detail, confidence, anecdotes, and humour. It was a very hot day and she made sure we were always comfortable and in the shade whenever possible. All 3 of us enjoyed it enormously and would highly recommend her.

  WE had a person in our small group in a walker. Jan did his best to accommodate our needs and give us a thorough tour. He informed us in advance that the city hall was closed on our visit day, so that we were able to make a different arrangement to view it the next day.

  Pedro is AMAZING! This tour was so fantastic, we really got to experience what the Duoro is really like. Every single moment of our time was super enjoyable! We loved all the choices from the wine tasting at the top of the valley to the great lunch, the fantastic vineyard tour and a few surprises along the way! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the Duoro, eat and drink great local offerings and have a wonderful guide!

  Our tour was with 4 adults and 6 kids. She was extremely knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged at each of the stops along the Freedom Trail. We enjoyed our morning with Catlin and would recommend her to anyone. Whether you're a history buff or just want to grab a pint with Sam Adams, Catlin can make your experience worthwhile and wicked fun!

  Hana was terrific. Our morning was filled with rain and Hana adapted our tour such that the rain barely effected us. She asked all kinds of questions about us so that she knew what we wanted to do. She was easy to engage with and made us very comfortable. One person said, "she was more than a tour guide. She was a friend showing us around." We all agree! Her knowledge of the culture and history was fantastic. Our group's ages ranged from 19-47 and she connected with everyone. A perfect tour.

  We were in Berlin for only 1 day and Zahi's tour gave us a complete overview of the essential sites we wanted to see. He met us at our arrival at the train station and we started our walk discussing the changes that happened in Berlin from it's historical formation, during the war and until now. Zahi is very knowledgeable about Berlin and was excellent at explaining the significance of everything we saw. His commentary lead us to think and he answered all our questions. A great way to spend 4 hours...

  Nathan was a great guide. He was patient, knowledgeable and personable. My husband and I enjoyed our tour with him very much and would book him again without hesitation. The visit to the Apartheid Museum is a must. Our only regret is that we didn't have two days for the tour. We would have spent a full day at the museum and a second day for the remainder of the tour. All in all, the tour was a great way to spend a long layover.

  Alex is extremely knowledgeable, and personable, and it seems very important to him that you learn about Sevastopol as much as you can. He is the perfect local guide. I am very thankful to fate for coming across him, since without him my experience and knowledge of Sevastopol would now be infinitely less. One day does not do Sevastopol justice, so I intend to return to have Alex show me the remainder. Highly recommended. Would give him 10 stars if could!!

  George is a star... extremely helpful and responsive before we came to Georgia and a highly professional and friendly guide, I can highly recommend him. He was a very safe driver, especially important since we had our one year old baby with us and the driving in Georgia can definitely get a little loose at times! George was a wealth of knowledge and information, as well as being totally relaxed and flexible. He really knows his stuff, suggest visiting this beautiful country and let him show you around.

  Cesar is an excellent guide and I'd surely hire him again. His tour of Chichen Itzá was informative and entertaining. He made sure we got great pictures and answered all our questions. My daughter got stung by something while there and he even had a spray in his backpack to stop the stinging. Lunch was fun and he was patient while everyone in our party of 9 jumped off the cliff at the Cenote (or who chickened out like me lol). It was a very enjoyable, relaxing day (sorry again about forgetting my phone!)

  I cannot recommend Junichi more highly - he was gracious, very well informed and excellent company. We felt very privileged to have spent 4 hours with Junichi as he walked us around Takayama telling us about the history and culture of Japan and in particular Takayama.

  We were a group of 8 and had one day to spend in Ghent. Rik met us right on time and gave us so much information. History, Architecture, Food... anything we wanted to know, he had the answer for. Our three hours together flew by and we learned so much about this charming city that we never would have known if we just walked around on our own. I highly recommend Rik as a guide as he is so knowledgeable as well as personable.

  We found a guide named Paola in Sardinia through get your guide. She was very knowledgable and passionate about Sardinia. This was the first of 5 tours with her and we had a really good day. It rained most of the time but it did not stop us doing the tour. If you are interested in history Nora is a little gem of a place and the walking tour of Cagliari gave us sense of the place and helped us get our bearings in a new city. The other four tours with Paola were great too.

  Four of us had Roberto as a tour guide for a day. We highly recommend him because he is very knowledgeable about the arts and history of Italy. He is a very pleasant person, a good driver, and a comfortable vehicle as well. He adjusted the plan so that we could add a stop to the day. Lunch as a small vineyard was most enjoyable and a delicious choice! Wines were very good. Roberto was specifically recommended by a fellow traveler on another trip and we were very glad we took the advice. Booking easy.

  Josh was absolutely fantastic to have over our 2 day Great Ocean Road Trip. Love how easily he smiles, and was always accommodating with wanting to take our pictures and pointing out sights for us. He was also a safe driver! And his local knowledge was great as we asked a lot of questions and Josh, patiently replied. And after i had seen some interesting birds of prey on a stump, Josh even made a turn but two magpies got to them first! Overall,very pleased with Josh,and will use him again in the future.

  I spent a whole day excursion with Feker travelling to Kairouan, El Jem and Sousse. He drove me with his nice clean car to these nice Unesco classified places. He has a good sense of humour who helps feeling good since the first moments. He has a good knowledge of the history both of the country and the places visited. Always available to help and make your journey more funny. He speaks fluent french and english. Full collection of music available in his car. He shares wi-fi fromhis phone. can't ask more.

  I chose Tatyana for a day-trip to Mir and Nesvizh. I had several guides before but Tatyana was really outstanding. She is in the business for almost 20 years and an experienced guide. Well-educated, very friendly and with great command of the English language, she expertly discussed various topics from Belarus's fascinating history to today's life in the country. She also came up with a cozy place for lunch. If you consider a visit to Belarus you should consider choosing Tatyana as your guide.

  I chose Tatyana for a day-trip to Mir and Nesvizh. I had several guides before but Tatyana was really outstanding. She is in the business for almost 20 years and an experienced guide. Well-educated, very friendly and with great command of the English language, she expertly discussed various topics from Belarus's fascinating history to today's life in the country. She also came up with a cozy place for lunch. If you consider a visit to Belarus you should consider choosing Tatyana as your guide.

  Fred is an experienced guide who can well communicate with us for the whole day trip. Although the weather is out of our expectation, Fred is passionated to show us many spots for sightseeing and taking beautiful photos.   Shin was an absolutely fantastic guide picked us up from our accommodation in Gora and guided us around beautiful Hakone. We walked up to the Hakone shrine, the emperors summer house thru the beautiful gardens, to the old Tokaido trail where we were lucky with a glimpse of Mt Fuji out across Lake Ashi, to Amazake Chaya Tea House where we enjoyed a traditional hot sweet saki. Shin has great communication and is very passionate about his culture this tour was a highlight of our trip to Japan.

  We were very impressed by Claude's depth of knowledge of the Australian's campaign on the Western Front. He allowed us plenty of time to take in our fill at the various locations, some of which we weren't aware existed. The lunch venue was very nice. We had a great day.   I can highly recommend the Tangier Walking Tour with Hamid B. Great organization up front. An authentic insight into Tangier & its history. Got to see places we wouldn't have found & inside a friend's riad in the Kasbah with awesome views. All four of us Australians really enjoyed it.

  Cynthia was a delight to tour with in the Badlands. Very knowledgeable about the geological forms and accommodating to allow me frequent stops for photos. Took me to places she thought I'd enjoy for my photography passion, including an old abandoned town.   A spectacular tour of the Ring of Kerry. Rory took us places where only a local knows; and a tour bus could never take you to. All five of us loved this tour. We will definitely use Rory on future tours of Ireland. This is a great way to tour the Ring of Kerry. We were able to enjoy the tour without the stress of us driving these roads.

  Firstly a guide is a must in Belarus unless one speaks and reads Russian and/or Belorussian. Nothing is in English outside of Minsk! Vladimir was punctual on the day he took us out to the town we asked to visit. He is an extremely knowledgeable guide and explained a lot about the country and its past and provided context as to where the country is today. He took us to memorial sites that pertained to our search and he was invaluable in translating all the information for us. Thank you for taking my dad and I on a once in a lifetime journey where we explored our heritage. We will cherish the memories from this day.

  Perfect! This is a great tour to get oriented to the beautiful city of Sarajevo and to learn some ancient and modern history. We cannot even begin to describe how great our guide Danielja is!   He is an absolutely delightful guide. Very calming to travel with. He kept pace with our speed of walking and never showed any impatience as we take our time to stroll. I think he's more energetic than us! But he did not hurry us! Most helpful with commentary of the sights' history as well; and he's always thinking ahead and suggesting which side of the bus we shld sit at - to get the best photo opps etc!   My sister and I had a terrific tour with Heather. We opted for the longer day tour and the time flew by as we felt we were visiting this historic city with a good friend who knew everything there was to know about Berlin. Heather is an American who studied German history and culture and speaks the language fluently. She has great insights into Berlin's unique history and character and even recommended books and films for us to explore. With Heather as your guide you will come to know and love Berlin!

  Miguel Ribeiro was very personable, quite the gentleman and so knowledgeable about Porto and Portugal in general.   We had a wonderful 8 hours with Priya. It honestly felt like hanging out with an old friend who knew Mumbai like the back of her hand. She tailored our tour to suit our tastes, taking us to plenty of places off the beaten track. Having a driver meant we could 'hop on and off' and have some air conditioned sanctuary in between.   We had a wonderful day with Paulina in Cartagena, Columbia. Our custom tour hit the spot and included la Popa Monastery, Castillo San Felipe, a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, and walking tour of the old city. Paulina was a fountain of knowledge of history and culture of the city. There were five of us, including my four year old granddaughter. Paulina adapted beautifully to accommodate individual preferences -- including my own, for emeralds!

  We liked the tour to Chiatura lead by Shalva since it was rather unusual compared with what we have seen before in Georgia. The tour has the right balance of the industrial (the miner's city), religious (the ancient monastery in the mountain) and nature (the breathtaking views of Katskhi pillar and surrounding landscape) sightseeing. Everyone will find something interesting for himself and the day will be full of great impressions. I recommend this tour to those who wants to explore different Georgia!

  Our family was treated so well by Diana and the contacts she had made for us prior to visiting my mother's home village. Diana provided insightful commentary on many of the features of the countryside as we travelled to Brody where we went to the museum and were given an informative genealogical chart completed by one of the museum's historians. In Razhniv, we met several residents and drove to the property on which my mother's family home once stood. It was a beautiful visit.

  My parents and I are so happy with the experience we had with Hamid. He and his driver picked us up from our hotel in Tangier, and we started on our way to Akchour's Waterfalls/God's Bridge. Next was our visit to Chefchaouen. What a cute place. Hamid had great recommendations and information for us. We enjoyed him so much as a guide, that we hired him and his driver again for the following day! You won't regret a tour with him. An easy 5 stars for him. =)

  Joyce was a delight to spend the afternoon with. She showed up fully prepared with a wonderful smile on her face. She was energetic and full of a wealth of information. I asked for a custom tour and she researched everything, made up a tour booklet for me to keep and took me to all the places tied to the movie locations I wanted to see. We fell in love with Joyce and with Charleston. I highly recommend her as a guide. If I go back, I won't hesitate to hire her again.

  What an excellent tour! Abdelmoghit is very professional. THIS is a great tour if your interest is to come away having a deeper understanding of place. We weren't quite sure what to expect but he gave us in our native English a cultural and historical background. A Wonderfull introduction to the national cuisine by way of two beautiful establishments, one out of town, one in. We appreciated that as we talked he added small spontaneous diversions to the tour.   We took the one day Shanghai 1 Day Classic Tour by Tours by Locals from our cruise ship. Our guide was Sunny Chung. This is a GREAT tour. Sunny met us at the cruise port with a private van. I can’t believe how much we covered!. We saw the Bund, the French Concession, the Jade Buddha Temple, Old Town, various views of the skyline, the Wu Garden, Nanjing road and Peoples Park, A particularly fun stop was the cricket market where e crickets are sold for “cricket fights” and they sell cricket training baskets and feeding bowls. Lots of other animals there including exotic birds and fish. Sunny was a great guide – clear and comprehensive. The tour was terrific and is highly recommended.

  Abdelmoghit was very knowledgeable and provided an excellent tour for my cruise group shore excursion. He was very conscious of the needs of our group, some of whom needed extra time for walking. It was very interesting to understand more of the Muslim religion first-hand. We had a stop at a beautiful place overlooking the ocean where he treated us all to a traditional mint tea, which was very tasty. I would highly recommend him. The vehicle was brand new and spotless. Excellent driver as well.

  We were looking for a tour guide that could bring the rich history of Boston to life in an engaging and entertaining style. Well, we found that in Daniel. My husband and I were traveling with our 11-year-old son who has ADHD and a very low threshold for boredom. The fact that Daniel has a background in theater and performing was evident throughout the tour. Very authentic and genuine and real, we all learned so much but in a very descriptive way. Daniel is master storyteller and kept us entertained.
