  I was horrified when I thought I had downloaded a dodgy email attachment whilst chatting on Christmas day.My email would not work properly after this. After a little thought and research I thought I would look in the app store and was delighted to see an ESET app because I use ESET on my laptop as it is so unobtrusive. After installing it and running the scan my emails were fine and I was really relieved.

  I have uninstalled Norton or whatever was preinstalled on every PC I have bought in the last 10 years or so and installed Avast instead. The free version is fine but I recently purchased the premium version of Avast and installed it on 3 PCs in my home. Great product that has never let me down.

  Been using Norton 360 Antivirus software for years, I wouldn't use anything else. It keeps me well protected. Never had any issues. It keeps all my passwords safe in a vault for easy access when needed. Norton 360 never slows down my computer and works flawlessly. I also like the extra features of 360 Deluxe edition, like back-up storage space and VPN feature. It protects me while using public wi-fi service. I also like it's ability to clean up junk files on my device. The Life Lock feature is also nice. It's added protection to see if you are on the Dark Web and helps protect accounts. Norton 360 also works well with my tablet and Android phone too.

  Avast has great built-in features. Firewall application rules that let you adjust which programs have access to the internet. Real time virus protection and automatic updates as well.   I have E Set on my laptop and it not only works it did not slow my system down in any annoying way. And so far this is the case with my Kindle. Even though I did not worry about the Kindle a lot before due to its built in security I now use it more in out of my home settings so the extra layer of security is welcome.

  Hubby, the IT "professional" succeeded in contracting some Virii. As soon as he noticed something was amiss he scanned with MS Defender. Nada. Next he tried MalwareBytes. Some hits and a couple were quarantined.At this point he was getting frantic as his "finely tuned" Spidey senses were tingling. Rather they were going off like the evacuation klaxons for the local Nuclear power plant. I was more interested in just exactly what he was doing to have gotten in sooooo much trouble.In desperation, aided by a reasonably positive CNET article he downloaded WebRoot from SOFTWAREHUBS. Bingo, he was clean again. As far as his computer status that is.He says that he's aware there may be better products but he was desperate. Within 10 minutes of the download he was smiling. And winking.As far as that goes, I'm still waiting on an answer about his web activities....

  Keeps all the viruses away, and doesn't keep interrupting whilst I am working on documents/the internet; does exactly as described, so I am very happy with this product. My computers feel very secure (they told me!).
