  Fantastic. Had Avast for about 6 Months now. it is great. Everytime you first go online it updates itself and lets you know. A real simple system to work with. Have Norton on my other computers but think I will change over to Avast.

  I've been using McAfee for a few years now. Switched from the other brand (that shall not be named). Works really well for me. Does what it's supposed to do without interfering with any apps or my OS. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to use or understand. I also love the password app. Only annoyance is it keeps trying to make me switch my browser--no biggie I just close the pop up. This is by far the easiest renewal process. No need to install...just enter the new serial number. Boom. Done. Oh yeah, about 1/2 the price of renewing or buying directly thru McAfee. Just make sure to deselect the auto renew box.

  I previously had the same antivirus protection so I was just renewing and at a much better price than I paid the last time. I purchased it on Ebay before. This was easy to install and so far no problems with a lot of features. Very Happy so far

  Have used ESET NOD32 on my home PC for years. Damn good product. It's working hard doing the job while many other anti virus software just sits and " watches" the bad stuff comes into your system to snoop and cause havoc. Now my tablet is secure too.

  I have only had this product for a few weeks now, but I am very pleased. I had AVG for several years, and it seemed to interfere with everything I tried to do. Webroot has been very low key. It just pops up when I start my computer to assure me I am protected and then goes away and does not bother me unless there is a real concern.

  Though I haven't had very long and used all features it looks better than some other security apps for Kindle. It is clearly set out, easy to use, keeps device clean while browsing and checks apps and Wifi. Recommend.

  i’ve had mcafee total for a couple of years and my only complaint is they charge full price for auto renew, so i’m forced to buy and install it again for whatever the going rate is...this time auto renewal was $69 and i bought this for $20

  Arrived quickly, easy to redeem product renewal.I did debate a change of antivirus protection , I checked reviews and even though norton are no longer the number one in the tech mags , they still have a better track record. I did worry at reviews warning of having to give card details and having to sign up for auto renewal when using a bought product key, but it activated no argument.

  First I bought Norton, as I have for years. I normally just paste in the security code into the Help/Renew window and that did the trick. Now with Auto Renew, it takes you to the Norton website and wants a credit card even though you have already paid for it this year. This is so they can auto hit you next year for a $149 dollars. Far above the $29 dollars you are paying on SOFTWAREHUBS. Webroot is soo much easier to install and use. I spent more time trying to install Norton on one computer AND failing than I spent installing Webroot on three computers. In fact, I had three computers installed while I was waiting to talk to SOFTWAREHUBS about a refund on Norton. They said it was not refundable but they made an exception for me. You have been warned about Norton. I love Webroot!!!

  I have been a subscriber to Webroot for about 10 years now. All my PC's have it. My family has it. Every year I review the top Anti-virus/malware offerings. Webroot is always number 1 or 2. As long as they keep excelling, I will continue to be a loyal customer. I do not get virus's although Webroot has flagged a few websites immediately to prevent a bad download. That's what I buy it for. It works and I highly recommend the product.

  I order a new one every year when my annual subscription is about to expire. Easy enough in that you just buy it and get a code that you use to reactivate your existing software or just uninstall the old software and reinstall the new software and add the code to activate. Haven't had a problem.

  I have used Avast for many years now, on 2 different computers. I had never heard of it, and IT friend from Canada recommended it. He has a high level job with a very, very large international company so I am certain he knows what he is talking about. I am still a plug it in and hope it works kind of person!I started with the free version (not sure if it is still out there) and it worked great. I now have the upgraded version and again - great. I have had McAfee and Norton, and I felt like they were intrusive. It seemed like I could not turn on my computer without messages, upgrades, etc. With Avast, it is like they leave me alone but I am protected. Maybe I did something wrong previously - but I am certain I would not use anything other than Avast.

  Trend Maximum is the SoftwareHUBs software out there. I have been using it since it came out. I never had any problems or viruses on 3 cpu and 1 laptop. I use it on my cell phones and scanned a site and it came up as dangerous and to close the page.

  Like a lot of computer uses at home I share some paranoia regarding viruses and Trojans and so forth. I have used Panda and Zone Alarm and several others but I found Avast both easy and effective to use, and fairly inexpensive. It is really good for what I need (Panda and Zone Alarm, to me, are like using a 155 mm cannon on what I encounter) and I highly recommend it. I find the almost continual updates on the anti-virus front crucial. What I most fear is a malicious program that could interfere with the actual operation of my machine. Since using AVAST I haven't encountered that so I'm satisfied.As far as identity theft, I find being poor with a terrible credit rating does a lot more to prevent that than any software.

  Why are these apps requiring all these broadly defined permissions, in the particular fashion that they do? I mean... i understand what they TELL US they are using them for and why they might need certain things to provide the desired service.... but mostly all of these could be easily worded in a way that still allows the permissions to carry our the users desired actions, without also granting the app permission of invading all sorts of privacy concerns and wide range of seemingly suspect request. Like everything else I buy I did my usual research before making a buying decision, and found that Avast always scored very high in all the different categories. And although they offer a free version, I decided on one of their competitively priced premium versions that would give me coverage on three pc's for a two year subscription period.On several occasions it has caught various malware and trojan horse viruses, and for that, I was extremely thankful.   I just want to thank you very much for your help. I have been fighting for three weeks to remove some really annoying advertisement. It has every time disrupted my viewing by freezing up the PC and disallowing me to continue until I close my page and cancel the ad. I have asked Geek Squad three times to remove it but they have not. Finally Webroot came on and asked me if I wanted it to remove spyware. Of course I did. Your Webroot proceeded to clean up my PC and I actually was able to continue my surfing without any interruption. What a wonderful surprise.   I don't like to load with a key code. I ordered a disc and it loaded immediately with no trouble. It seems to be working well. The price was good, especially for 3 computers. I had Norton 360 for 3 computers last year. I got it at a nice introductory price . I had no problem with it, but when it was going to renew for another year automatically at about triple the price I decided to shop around. Once Webroot was up and running for awhile I thought I might as well uninstall the Norton antivirus. When I did that it did something to my computer. It would no longer recognize my remote devices, camera and MP3 player. I have extended warranty on my HP computer and they helped me get my computer to recognize them again. I am no computer guru. I'm just saying Beware on uninstalling Norton. When I Googled it I read several other people had the same problem. I still have Norton on 2 other computers. It is no longer active, but I intend to just let it sit there.

  I've always thought that anti-virus software was like putting up a picket fence around your computer, while the bad guys were driving tanks at your computer. The anti-virus gave you a false sense of security, but if the bad guys want in, there is no stopping them.Then I got BitDefender. It is the least obtrusive, quietest Anti-virus I've ever had. It is no resource hog like certain programs. It was so much in the background, I wondered if it was even doing anything.Then came this past Saturday. I was in the middle of working and all of a sudden, what I was working on shut down and BitDefender popped up with a warning that I had just been the victim of a Ransomware attack.BitDefender blocked most of it, but it did encrypt some files, which Bitdefender was able to unencrypt! I've never heard of a program being able to do that. It told me the source of the attack was those gadgets that so many of us have on our computers. If I could give Bitdefender 10 stars, I would. It saved my computer.
