  I've used Norton for a long time, so I read a lot before I switched to Webroot. It works fine and is so much faster than Norton. You don't have to download updates constantly and my Windows 7 device had to have a Norton "patch" to update. I finally was advised there was no longer any support available even though I had several months left on my 1 year renewal. Goodbye Norton, hello WEBROOT. It works as well as people say! Check it out.

  I work from home and after buying this my company allowed me to drop the company paid ant-virus because it was equal or better than what they have. My IT director and now looking at using this as our company-wide security software for our company computers and I also use it on my personal.   I liked the fact that Webroot downloaded really fast, and that it only took minutes to set up. It's working very well with my computer. Doesn't slow down the computer as it's working. Scans are quick and easy. All in all, a great antivirus. I'm very happy with it. : )

  2 Years and 5 machines protection for literally half the money Avast charges for 1 year single machine, plus added premium features. You can't go wrong here.Avast is a great product that has been protecting my machines successfully for about a decade. Never had a successful infection and it has stopped 2 in that time.

  I've been using Webroot for about 5 years now and have never had a virus infect my computer. It's worked great for me - this year I put on all 3 of our computers as I found it to be the most effective antivirus program I could buy. It's also cloud based so it's always up to date.

  I was using AVG for my security but I had an issue that took me over a year to fix, AVG updated my drivers and then I lost sound on my gaming laptop except for bluetooth. I had used Norton years ago, I'm so glad I ditched AVG and went back to Norton.

  Good overall, and a more simple configuration process than other products like AVG. It didn’t seem to cause issues with the current system processes like some other software products do. My hope is that it works so good that I’ll never know how well it’s working.

  The Webroot Software does an excellent job protecting the computer. This is my 3rd year using the software. To install the software, delete the older version and from the SOFTWAREHUBS library (get there from the email sent from SOFTWAREHUBS with the keycode) download Webroot to your hard drive. It will automatically start scanning your computer.

  Pros: Malwarebytes is now a subscription-based software product, and is my go-to first line defender to keep my personal laptop free of malware, ransomware and viruses. Bad actors abound and can infect your PC from the invaders lurking on innocent websites like MSN, Yahoo, and others! The basic websites are fine, but their advertisers are NOT!! Many of the 'articles' you click on are carrying malware! I love and trust Malwarebytes, so much so that before I retired, I deployed it across our 30-pc business network and NEVER had any issues, even with users that violated company policy constantly visiting dangerous websites. That's because Malwarebytes is 'real time' protection that stops bad stuff from even getting in. I have my scans set to run once a week (they run daily by default). I recommend this product heartily.Cons: It's not free (but that's to be expected, as stuff you get free is seldom worth much).

  I bought this because my prior version expired. I like the three computer capacity because it can cover both desktops and laptops.It came with a code but not clear instructions on just updating my existing account vs a complete download of the software.A search of their website was all about selling products, even after I logged in.Once the product download started, a pop up message asked if I wanted to update my existing account vs establishing a new account and so the update was completed.

  I have been with Webroot since I purchased my first laptop over 10 years ago. I have never had a problem with anything. Even when a major virus tried to come through, it stopped it immediately. I took my computer to a place to check my laptop, and they said it was a Trojan that tried to come through but Webroot caught it and cleaned it out fast. I never know when the software is running as it runs fast and smooth.

  Liked the revised interface. Still easy to use with a lot of useful tools to check for problems in files and online. Quick scans, without slowing the computer too much.Disliked the new verifying the licence process. Took quite a while to work this out, but this threw up a major computer fault on my old Dell computer( it kept crashing - worked eventually, but will be replacing ).Emailed Kaspersky who gave me good advice to complete the installation.The installation is now completed by downloading from the Kaspersky site by logging on. Then installing it from your computer - it worked perfectly with another newer computer - both were Windows 10.
