  Dave G. helped me out with my outdoor lights not working and even helped fix my living room fan. He does excellent work and explains clearly. Also advised me on what else is recommended as my house was built in the 80s. Highly recommend this company and electrician, Dave Garrett.

  This company is awesome to work with! I’m out of state and my brother lives in my MN home. It can be difficult being out of state but these guys made it so easy for me. They were up front and honest about the unit. They make it work to deal with myself and brother. They have our business for life. The service guy Mike was awesome to work with!

  I wish I could leave more stars. I tried fixing our hot/cold water supply to our third floor shower when something broke. I was able to shut off the house water supply before too much damage was caused. We have a home warranty policy that we tried to set up a service call through but gave up on that after an hour and a half. My wife and I then went down the list we got on a Google search. Service Today was the only company that could come out the same day after hours (I broke our shower at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday). I got a call from Tom asking what the problem was and he let me know where he was, what he was doing, and when he could be here. He came when he said he would and was very good at his profession. I was thoroughly impressed with Tom and Service Today. I wish I would have called them first. I will be using their service again if needed.

  Excellent experience with Mike. He was thorough and transparent, not pushy at all, answered my many questions and gave time to make a decision on next steps. He was able to fix our issue with the (17 year old) AC for a very reasonable cost and gave recommendations for what can be done to improve the whole system, even without full replacement. I will recommend him to any neighbor or friend with confidence.

  Called on July 3rd for an air conditioning repair and got an appointment for the 4th to my great surprise! Not only that Jake wasn’t just on time, he was early (with the heads up he was on his way)! He diagnosed the problem and fixed to quickly and professionally. All in all the best service we could have possibly expected. Highly recommend!

  The technician that visited our home was named Mike L. His customer service was outstanding. He established himself as a professional by presenting courtesy in his greeting, sharing with me the service that would be imparted, and educating me with the issues that were at hand. At no time was I rushed, pressured, or felt misled. I would describe him as genuine and sincere in his manner and conduct. His arrival was prompt and as scheduled.   They've done some work for me in the past, so while they're not having a lot of work during this covid pandemic they offered to do a free inspection of my furnace and A/C. Both are just a few years old, so it was a good time for them to be checked out. Jake came out this afternoon and he did the work quickly while being sweet, kind, and helpful. He was even really sweet to a young neighbor boy who came over to say hi as Jake finished up.Employees like Jake are who make all the difference for customers. I'm grateful he was sent out to give me a green light that everything is working just as it should, as his pleasant nature just helped start my weekend off right.

  Update: We had a fantastic experience today with this company. One year after having our furnace and AC replaced, our furnace had an issue. We called and asked for a tech to come out. We scheduled it a couple days out since it wasn't an emergency.Mike L. called on time and said he was on his way. It was evident that Mike's focus was on the customer. He was pleasant, honest, charming, and a joy to have in our home. He fixed the issue (some sensor) and went through a full diagnostic. He thoroughly explained the issue and what our next steps should be. He is a great ambassador for Service Today and it was clear that he enjoyed working for them. We have 100% trust in Mike and Service Today and will be long term customers.By the way, this company is under new management as of 3 years ago, so the negative reviews from years ago no longer apply.Our furnace went bad. Our AC was 30 years old so the technician gave us a fair price for both. Installation was professional and fair priced.

  Paul the electrician with Service Today did a wonderful safety check of my electrical system for my home last week. Because my home is an older Bacchus house in the north suburbs & electrical hadn't been updated about 10 years he did find an issue with one important outlet that was rather loose &caused energy resistance, so was unsafe. He installed a new outlet and now I feel assured that it is safe& sound it is working fine. Paul was very informative about the technology today and gave me options is what I could do to update home power intake and make it more efficient for the future. He also looked over my home's battery safety alarms and said that Service Today offers a new wireless standalone system for fire and carbon monoxide alarms and so I am considering getting that in the near future even though I also have an alarm system with a call center. He said that the Service Today alarm system is very quick and reliable and it would be a good addition to what I already have. Paul is very personable and knowledgeable about electrical work and also the newer technology that Service Today offers as options for improving the electrical system for homes with newer technology. I was so glad that MSP called to do electrical safety check on my house and I recommend that everybody get this done for an electrical safety inspection at least once a year. Hats off to Paul and Service Today!!! Thanks

  Craig was here today to fix our air conditioner. He was very prompt and got here when he said he would. The first thing he did was to show us the company's bonding and insurance. This maybe doesn't seem like much, but it showed me that they know their service is important and take it seriously. He also had a pricing guide that showed each specific service and a set price for it. To me, that's HUGE. There was no question about how much something was going to cost or if we were getting ripped off because he was fixing our a/c on an 80-degree day. The diagnostic price was a little higher than I had anticipated, but Craig was here for over 3 hours, all covered by the diagnostic fee. I would definitely recommend their services.

  I am very pleased with the work completed by Service Today. They ran power and placed new lighting in my living room and two bedrooms. They also updated my service panel and completed other safety related tasks. The lead electrician, Jon, was highly skilled, professional, and wonderful to work with. This visit was to install outlets in a shop, pre-plan and set up for a spring installation of a yard light and to change some switches to make them independent of other lighting.   After solving our power outage problem in the middle of the night a few weeks ago Dave returned a few days ago for an audit of our home wiring. He identified some critical problems related to a lack of GFI outlets in the kitchen and laundry room and he diagnosed a wiring problem in a three switch system that operated a ceiling fan. As before he was extremely professional, courteous and most importantly highly competent. He discussed options for solving the problems and did not pressure us to use his company to rectify the problems. And that is why we chose his company to solve the problems, which they did quickly and efficiently for the quoted price. I cannot recommend Service Today highly enough. We contacted them because of an emergency and now we have a 'go to' electrician for any future problems. Hire them if you need them. You will NOT be disappointed!

  We had Service Today come over to assess what was causing water damage under our kitchen sink. As part of the service, they also evaluated the rest of the house for any other concerns to avoid water damage in the future and did a great job talking through what came to their attention. They were very responsive and timely and stand behind their service to make sure the job is done right. I’ve trusted them for years with installing and servicing a new furnace and AC unit and was happy to see their plumbing service also meets their high standard. I really appreciate everything they’ve done at our home over the last 10 years!

He walked me through everything he was looking into to figure out the problem and answered many questions. His exact words ""I'm here to educate. The more you know about all this, the better"" which is absolutely amazing and made me feel even more confident in choosing this company.   Mike from Airtech came and cleaned my air ducts on 3/14/18. He did a great job. I couldn't be happier. I had not had them cleaned in about 30 years. He knew i was concered about equipment getting my new carpeting dirty and he took great care in putting tarps down anywhere the equipment would touch. Very personable. I would definitely hire airtech again. I actually feel like my ducts are really finally clean.

  Blake and Andrew were great! Andrew was at my house on a Friday night looking at issues with my furnace. Blake was able to arrive at 8:00 on Saturday to give me options for replacement that they installed on Monday. I’ve used this company in the past and I’m always happy with their service.

  Today Blake and Andrew came out in a pinch. My husband we traveling and our furnace went out. My brother in law is an HVAC technician and when I sent him the assessment he said how honest and spot on Service Today was which made me feel good about going with them. They were professional and went the extra mile to explain the process and issues with me! Thank you so much for your help and good quality work!

  Steve H was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing and showed me what he had found in my furnace. He showed me various ways it could be repaired and had calculated the cost before I asked. He was not pushing me nor was he trying to get me to buy something. He was honest and factual. I have never had bad service with this company or it’s predecessors. It has always been excellent.

  Steven H. was very professional, polite and knowledgeable! He explained what he would be doing and the company's policy regarding any work performed. He also explained everything in a way I could understand. He was very honest regarding the inspection results and what could/should be done, without ever being pushy.   Great experience with Dave S and Jake S today! Scoured hard to find local, reliable electricians. These guys did a great job. Made some additional observations and recommendations about the house, but no pressure. Very educational and informative. Polite guys, great work!

  I’ve been using this company through several name changes. The best part is the service has never changed, always great and very clean. Today they hooked me up with the infamous “C” wire for my new thermostat. I installed it shortly after they finished and BOOM, new thermostat works like a charm. Awesome job!! Great company, I recommend them to all that read this review!!

  First interaction with Service Today and I will be a repeat customer. Kevin was kind, honest, thorough and very personable - the perfect kind of service person you want in your home! I chose to not have a replacement humidifier installed now but will definitely call Service Today when I do!

  Mike L was very attentive and knowledgable about my furnace and the tune up he came and did. He also offered some alternatives that my wife and I stull have to talk about. Thee one thing he did recommend and we actually signed up for was the monthly club membership. Very happy with his service!

  Our technician went above and beyond the call. He was great to work worth and gave us a lot of options on how to best fix our problem. He even found another place where the wire had blown out from when another electrician had made a small mistake. I would totally use them again. If we had not just purchased an annual maintenance check up on our furnace and air conditioner we would have gone with theirs.

  We have a serious remodeling project going on at our House that requires several phases for Plumbing to be done.Andy (AKA-Mario), arrived at 0830 hours this morning and assessed my my current situation for the upstairs and downstairs Bathrooms. Andy (AKA Mario), identified what needed to be done, redone and made some additional suggestions and came up with plan and a quote. But, exceptional work comes at a price. This will be worth the money and I am assured that I will not have any future issues. After this is done, we will be able to continue with the rest of our remodeling projects.Since the first day, Andy (AKA Mario), has been at the House completing each and every phase of the Plumbing process.So, for anyone who is in a remodeling project, or has a Plumbing issue(s), do it right the first time and call Andy (AKA Mario) and get it done right the first time.
