  The initial service fee (just to drive to the house) was cheaper than other places I called. However, how the pricing works is the company has a printed set of items included in the next base price (I don't remember exactly, but between $350 and $400). The good news is that you will know exactly the cost IF it is one of those items (things like basic electric, simple parts....) and it won't matter if it takes ten minutes or ten hours. Then there's another set cost for a higher bracket of repairs. I was nervous I would pay a lot for a ten minute fix of our AC - but went ahead because I have also been disappointed in paying by the hour for professionals in the past who took a long time to repair things.In the end I was extremely happy with the service. I think the visit was about two and a half hours. The technician was very thorough in his examination of the entire AC unit. He explained things as he went, addressing the main problem (mouse chewed through the wires) as well as accessory issues that caused (weakened parts in the system). He told me exactly what to expect from that, and did not push to replace parts today that could break down in two months, or ultimately still work for two more years.The best part is I received an email that includes all of the pictures he took of the system, plus explanation of important things to know about the condition of the unit, advice for future care or what to expect for the life of the unit or other aging parts of the system. I really appreciate having this information to be able to enter any future conversation about unit repairs with confidence and knowledge that I didn't have prior to this.That initial price was scary to commit to, but I felt valued and respected as a customer. I really felt like it was worth it, and that I would recommend going with this company if you don't already have a trusted technician that you have hired in the past.

  Mike was amazing! Professional and kind, he clearly laid out our options and pricing. He gave us a clear picture of what was going on with our AC, immediate fixes, and item to consider. We felt empowered to make the best choice for our family. Would definitely use this company again!

  Highly recommend the service we received today! Our Electrician Brett was quick to fix our emergency furnace problem, and tell us what issues were causing it! A little spendy, but it was an emergency, so we were willing to pay the extra cost. Would recommend and will likely use again!

  My basement shower was gushing out water non-stop out of no where and couldn't find what was the issue. Called them and they did such an incredible job! It was a weekend, Came in on time and Was able to identify what was wrong right away, fixed up the problem really quick and fast. Jeffery, the technician was super nice and easy going.

  Service person Ryan quickly solved the problem of a seemingly inoperative washing machine. There was no power to the machine till Ryan fixed the outlet.

  David and Daniel were great, both showed up with friendly attitudes. David was very knowledgeable in explaining his safety evaluation of the house and with helping me understand what my options were. Daniel was hardworking in switching out the outlets quickly and without any mess afterwards. I highly recommend

  Due to our lights dimming and noticing a faint "burning" odor that we could not pinpoint. A call was placed to several electrical vendors, but the only response that we received was from Service Today! and Dan Baker was there that same day too (professional, responsive). Dan, you are awesome at what you do. After finding the issue, you explained the work that needed to be performed, how it would be performed and what we should do to manage the process. You brought Dylan Duden and two others to help resolve our issue, which was done smoothly, efficiently, and quite impressively completed in one day (Friday - Easter weekend). I can't thank you enough for the sense of security you provided for my family (good quality, good value).What we noticed immediately after the faulty electrical panel was removed and replaced; was bright lighting in every room, our air conditioner performs better, and our refrigerator runs more quietly. It seems that for the past few years, we may not have had the full power capacity that we should have and learned to live with it. I like this new world so much better. Again, thank you so much.Furthermore, the inspector who came to review the installation told us as he confirmed it passed inspection, "you had quality work performed with this installation."

  Our AC compressor wasn’t running and HVAC companies were trying to sell us a new unit even though it was clearly a power issue.Dan came out within 3 days and provided incredible work and service and got everything fixed on the electrical side and sure enough the AC was working in our townhome!Professional, fast, open conversation, and excellent work was done!
