  I ordered 6 WD Ultrastar DC HC550 18TB 7.2k SATA-6GBPS 512e se 3.5" Hdd - 0F38459. I received an e-mail from server supply within fifteen minutes of my order to confirm everything. I called them to have my questions answered. Paul was great! The drives were packaged and in the shippers control by the next morning. These drives arrived in 5 business days with standard ground shipping. They were packaged well. The price was great!

  My hard drive arrived with a click of death. It happens and is not the end of the world. They were able to get me a replacement out the same day and I was able to get it into the server and it seemed to work fine. I had to pay return shipping which is why I took a star off. If I didn't have to pay for the return I would have been happy.

  Everything I've ordered from server supply for my HP DL360p Gen8 home lab server is still running. Not a single issue with anything I've purchased so far. Had an issue with an order that was my fault and they were very easy to work with. Shipping is crazy fast, my last order was placed at like 4:00 pm on 11/10 and delivered to my door on 11/11. I was shocked. Definitely my go to site for server parts.

  Was in a pinch with a Dell FC630 that wasn't covered with support by mistake, was able to get 3 broadcom nics, ordered overnight, they shipped same day (friday) and i got it monday morning. Excellent experience.

  I have purchased some refurbished products with mixed results. On my last order I paid for 3 day shipping which took 5 days. When I emailed Customer Service about it asking why, I received NO RESPONSE. So far there's nothing special about Server Supply so I give them a very average 3 stars when they might actually only rate 2. I can't say I've had a bad experience per se but the seem to be doing just the bare minimum which is disappointing. It's not so hard to provide excellent customer service but it does require a culture of caring enough to decide to do so and so far I don't see that here.

  Called in late on a Friday to order memory for a server project that was due the following Monday. Even though the shipping department was closing for the weekend the rep made sure that my order went out and I received it on Monday. It worked great and I made the server deadline.   These keep coming with very old date codes on the batteries, and they typically fail within 1-3 months. They are sold as new, but they clearly are not. We have purchased about a dozen of these over the last year, and have had this issue on nearly half of them. We'll be sourcing these from elsewhere, because for as expensive as they are, it's impossible to keep buying these over and over when they're old and used.

  Generally speaking, we like doing business with Server Supply. They are generally reliable and almost always have what we need. We use them for Dell parts and components. We have problems when we do not know exactly what we need, as they do not offer much sales assistance. If we do know EXACTLY what we need, they are a great resource.
