  Unfortunately, there are many modules labeled "free" that later turn out not to be free, and if I don't subscribe, I'm left with practically useless options. It's a scam. Modules should be checked better.

  I have never successfully added google analytics connection and data to get the full analytics of the module. At first on google account redirect to connect an error was shown. Then an update came out for the module, it proceed with the connection(I also recieved an email from google informing me about the connection) but it never got the data of from my account and it never let me choose which google analytics property holds the right data.

  The quality of most plugins and the level of support for them is in general quite poor. I often find myself debugging and modifying modules out of necessity. Also: I just had a terrible experience with what was an official Paypal payment module. Lost about a week of back and forth with the developer only to be told that this was not their module but Prestashop's and then when confronted with evidence that the module was authored by them (202 commerce) finally asking me to download the latest version and re-install. the module would not upgrade by itself.... We lost faith in Prestashop and now only maintain existing sites. All the new sites we've created in the last year are now on Shopify. Our agency could simply not afford the burden of having to deal with situations like this one.

  I had many problems creating an account (I am from Greece). I could not add my address although it was auto-generated from YOUR field... and with Google... After a lot of hours, the helpdesk added it manually for me. This problem is there for many years and it is not yet fixed...

  - Prestashop est très bien, mais il faut prévoir de l'argent d'avance car tous les modules supplémentaires et très utiles sont payants. - Ce que je trouve perturbant et dommage est au niveau de la mise à jour de Prestashop lui même, je préférerai que les mises à jour soient faites automatiquement sans causer de problèmes.(quitte à opter pour un abonnement mensuel pour ces mises à jour automatiques). - Pour le moment, si on veut passer à un Prestashop supérieur il faut impérativement passer par une agence web ou un freelance à moins de savoir le faire soi même...si non ça plante à coup sûr et on perd tout. Donc je suis mitigée pour recommandé Prestashop à une petite entreprise comme la mienne mais je vois qu'il y a eu beaucoup d'avancées depuis Prestashop 1.4 et c'est très bien.

  I bought this 2 products and when I wanted to put it on my website it wasn't possible. It said I needed to up grade my version. when I up graded it I lost some files. (My eshop was bought with the CMA Essonne 91 France, it's a State Organisation for Small French Company like mine) So, I needed to pay 298€ for help. The Help didn't work at all. And they asked me to pay again 898 €HTC, I restored the last version (for free) so I couldn't use this 2 products, I ask for the pay back and I didn't have an answer. I'm very not satisfy with PrestShop ! and the way they treated my problem. I phoned every day for it, before I pay for the support I asked if this solution at 298€ was enough to resolved my problem they said yes, and this didn't work at all ! I'm very angry, I asked by chat and by phone before buying the products and the support but the answer wasn't good they wanted only for me to pay ! This is my feelings.

  Love Prestashop shop been using it 10 years, it’s a a great place to start to learn as well and you can grow your site slowly, my brand Smithers of Stamford sell furniture and gifts so we are always adding new products live everyday. Eccomerce isn’t easy and we have pretty much learned everything by trial and error. Our development team is now so good we reach no 1 spot on Google within 2 weeks for any item we have listed

  Complex in both good and bad way. The UI is a bit old school and it requires a lot of time to understand everything you need to know to run at e-commerce site smoothly. But you have many options to change and adjust/develop everything as you like if you have the time and/or money for a developer to do it for you.

  They charge 20 euro per year every time you purchase an addon! This is impossible, unacceptable and illegal! The plugin should have one time purchase charge! If i need to renew the support i will do by myself! I built already 50 e-shops with Prestashop and i am seriously thinking to migrate them to WooCommerce because of those things. Plugins in Prestashop got extremely expensive and apart from this it is impossible i buy a simple plugin (for example Google Recaptcha) and i have to pay every year 20 euro only for this plugin!!! I would DEFINATELY suggest other markets to everyone, stay far from Prestashop

  Please STAY AWAY from this "company"!!! This is the most sketchy company I have been dealing with. I have purchased products and they manual block me and push me to buy it product again.(MONEY GRAB) All time they blame me because I try to use (but i did not use) the software and licence for a different domain. Now they ask to purchase a licence again which cost 225€ and PRESTALIA deactivated my older domain. Overall if I want to continue to use the product again I have to pay double - 225€ I have been paid already 225€ again for the same product. This is a simple example: You have a Windows Key for 1 PC and you buy a new PC and try to use your Windows Key, but it's not working and you can still use your Key with your old PC. But if you do exactly the same with PRESTALIA products, they will block your KEY and tell you to pay again. I spend 5 days chatting with them because I have a project which one run with this "company" software. Overall total damage: 225€ 5 days of chatting and another ~10 hours of work to move project with new software.

  Great eCommerce CMS, but expensive modules to add extra functions, and the auto renewals for the modules support, its not really something we would recommend.
