This process to get this was user friendly and actually met with a license therapist. I did the intake forms and it took maybe 15 minutes. I met with Kya Miller, LICSW, LCSW. I used the chat message feature and she responded in a reasonable account of time. She called on the phone, asked the right questions and I can tell she was attentive to my answers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Kya Miller, LICSW, LCSW is very caring and walked me through the whole process. My only complaint is that this stuff is expensive enough having to renew every year even though I have the same pets, then to be charged $50 for every document outside of the ESA letter itself.

The website is very very informative and clear about the process of getting your ESA letter. I appreciated that they provided a mental health counselor for me and helped me setup the appt time. My counselor was however not very pleasant to speak with. She spoke very robotically and didn’t really require any sort of actual proof that I needed a support animal. It makes me concerned for the multiple people who abuse this process to get out of paying. However I understand that the providers have to probably make dozens of calls every day so eventually it can become mundane. What caused me to only put 4 stars is the fact that when my apartment complex asked for a verification I received another $50 invoice from my provider. I think that’s extremely ridiculous considering I already pay an annual $149 for the letter. I could maybe understand a $10 fee or something small since the provider does have to send some sort of email or communication to the complex, but $50??? Just for her to say “yes I wrote this letter.” That’s a lot of money. Though it is written in small letters deep in the FAQ, it’s not explained clearly like the other information on the website. It’s frustrating as the providers know they can charge whatever they want knowing the people have to depend on their verification.

And we understand that the $50 verification fee might feel excessive, especially after already paying for the letter itself. We really appreciate you taking the time to break all this down. Easy process for a good price. Therapist asked me questions I had already answered on the forms so I don’t know why they asked me again on the phone. The therapist was super cold and impersonal. Like this stuff isn’t always easy to talk about and they just made it seem like another day at the office or trying to meet their quotas. Disappointed with the consultation, but glad it was a relatively easy process. Therapists need to be more kind and empathetic to their customers not so scriptlike and robotic.

I had an issue scheduling my appointment through Pettable initially, but the email support team fixed it within the hour. From there I was able to easily schedule an appointment. The customer service was amazing , my agent set up my account for me , as well as as gave me through directions to be sure I completed paperwork before my appointment to be sure it was successful!
