  Fantastic shop, high quality and staff that know exactly what they’re talking about! Always happy to help and customer service is second to none! I go here for all my photography needs! I literally cannot fault the team that work here they always advise me on what’s best for me and not price for themselves! They truly keep the customer at the center of what they do and it shows!

  First class service at this Park ave cameras' store. Store manager Dave couldn’t have been more helpful offering advice on a camera for fast moving sports shots. He offered to stay late to enable me to get the camera and lens in time for a special event and despite the late hour gave me a detailed hour long tutorial so I’d know how to use it to get the best results. I needed a zoom lens which he managed to locate at another branch and arranged for it to be delivered to the store. He then posted it to one of my neighbour’s tracking it all the way and my neighbour the DHLed it to Canada. This ensured I had all the equipment I needed for a top-flight debate at the University of Toronto. His tuition was excellent and his helpfulness and professionalism second to none. The overall service was top class friendly, professional and knowledgable. I got a one hour tutorial and a great deal on a super camera and zoom lens. I would recommend Park ave cameras unreservedly. They will price match with online retailers like Amazon but Amazon just cannot match this excellent high level customer service. Dave's employers should be very proud of how he represents the company and goes above and beyond for his customers.

  Truly appalling service. In 25 years of shooting film professionally, I cannot say that I have ever had such a dreadful experience with a photographic company, which caused delays to a funded project by over a week, costing thousands of dollars. Do yourself a favor, use a reputable company that knows how to treat photographers properly.

  Park Ave Cameras want you to get a good deal, they want you to enjoy your camera and they want to help you with your photography, they know that this gets them repeat business and I'm more than happy to support that. Damn right this place gets 5 stars from me. I work 100 yards from B& H on 8th & 9th Ave but I ain't going back there. If you have a question the guys in Park Ave Cameras will answer you honestly, they give great advice, they don't judge you how odd or uniformed your questions are, they stock a lot more than you'd think a shop that size could. I went in with a specific camera in mind, they guy went out his way to make sure it was definitely the one for me, and by this I don't mean he tried to show me other cameras, he just gave me the run down on what it does and what it's good for, then he showed me how to make use of it's specific features and agreed that I had the right camera in mind. I have nothing negative to say about this shop.

  The staff in the store are very honest and seasoned in camera. They dealt with my sensor clean within 45 mins out of their 2 hour service after Adorama had said there was mold but wasn't... Definitely will be back!

  Apart from camera equipment, I also bought some film from this shop and the shopkeeper was very knowledgeable about what he was selling. I would definitely recommend this shop to people who have temperamental film cameras and to those who want to know they are buying the right products.

  I took my Minolta antique camera to PARK AVE Cameras after the shutter stopped working. The guy in the shop fixed it in minutes and didn’t charge me for it. Previously that day I had been told by a different shop that it would cost $80 and take 10 days to try and fix my camera- but fixing it wasn’t guaranteed. I am so glad that I took my camera here.

  Being new to spotting scopes I was disappointed to find that the B& H store in New York suggested I go online as they did not stock them in store. Fortunately I discovered Park Ave Cameras, the manager talked me though what I was seeking in a scope and the demonstrated those in my preferred price range which he had in stock which made my decision easy. Excellent service, highly recommend them.

  Still my favorite place for grab and go lens accessories but i really wish they would keep the latest gear in stock locally. The main benefit of a local store is not waiting a day or two for shipping. Still... you should give them a call next time you need just the right thing today.

  Renting from Park Ave Cameras is a breeze and painless as well. Everything functioned well and looked like mint, which I was honestly worried about something going wrong haywire as it happens renting so it gave me newfound confidence! You can tell the owner and employees take great pride in their work. The shop itself has an amazing "vintage" vibe with both very old and novel cameras/equipment alike.. To top it all off the price was amazing on everything! I'd definitely recommend them and I'll definitely be going back.

  Are you fed up with stores that lack the old local camera stores.... Park ave cameras still retains the original feel and whiff of film and darkroom work... With compounds and all that uplifting old style theme?? This, then,, is your new favorite place...I loved when I walked in the store for the first time there was busy staff pacing up and down to attend customers. You can buy ,,sell or rent photography gear including cameras, lenses and lighting. if you have old-style gear that needs to find a new home out of your closet than this is the place to bring it... They will re-home it to a new, loving owner. Always a great experience..

  I walked in and bought a Olympus lens. Later I looked up other stores and noticed the same item on the stores at a significantly lower price. I had been looking at the local places in NY all morning but I didn't check them again before buying. Their in store policy says returns are only given as in store credit. They agreed to just refund me my money since I had bought the lens only 10 minutes earlier. I am extremely thankful for them helping me out with my return. I will be back for future camera needs.

  Park Ave Cameras is AMAZING! I have been a wedding photographer for about 9 years now and I will ONLY go to them for all of my camera needs. I love ordering items online now for convenience in the field, amazing team each time I order their products. I’ve had a few nightmare scenarios with corrupt card issues or damage, and I had yet to experience something like that. Recently I shot a few photos in Arizona and when I got home my card said there were NO IMAGES... I couldn’t find them anywhere. I panicked and felt sick thinking of what this would mean if I couldn’t recover treasured memories! But I felt confident that if anyone could help me, it was Park Ave Cameras . I went immediately to them and they were able to recover everything on my card for an awesome price. I highly recommend them!!

  We are professional photography company from Manhattan shooting a wedding. We had problems with our new equipment bought from this company on the web. We called the number on their website.   A belated review but finally I got space to pen it.. was searching to pre-order and found Park Ave Cameras to pack a vast range of lenses from top brands. I bought a Tamron SP AF 10-24mm f / 3.5-4.5- never failed to capture the essence of nature with crystalline purity and depth of nature. Ian was the person who showered me with tons of advice regarding this product, he sounded reliable and I'm not disappointed. If you are planning on buying a camera, lens or accessories kit, this is the go to destination. Every one in the store is very keen in listening to your your questions. Going forward this will be my store to order stuff.

  Park Ave Cameras crawls with a treasure trove of Tamron lenses. I bought a Tamron AF18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 at a lower price than local shop and Amazon with online convenience. It gives me a superb mix of power and value, enabling my high-resolution DSLR to launch like a supercomputer.

  Sony Lightweight Behind Stereo Headphones/-Crisp Sound and Super Comfortable I bought this item for my boyfriend to use @ park ave cameras as he listens to music when strolling or getting into his stride and sweat it out. He loves them ! He'd used earbuds or old school headphones before. What a waste of hard earned money! This Sony brand is lightweight, super comfortable, snugs in place securely, and has an incredible sound ! Finally hit the sweet spot!

  This is the most excellent modern camera store I've ever been to. Enormous selection with camera specialist staff. I got on their wait list for a very rare antique camera lens and they had it dispatched to me within two weeks instead of months compared to other vendors. Also they have very reasonable price tags on their website. The look less pricier than some of the online camera places and you don't have to pay for shipping so you'll always come out smelling like a rose.

Ian and his team went above and beyond to get my new gear to me even after a mistake made by the delivery company (which Ian resolved straight away). I ended up getting a camera & 2 lens, plus collection of some part-ex gear with no delay! Even sorting out the prices for my part exchange equipment was handled without stress. I will definitely use Park Ave Cameras again.

  Despite having driven passed hundreds of times never realized there was such a photographic emporium online with enormous convenience. I called 855-801-0808 for advice on a busted lens. The chap who chatted with me was knowledgable and attentive. I felt confident enough to go ahead and buy a replacement optic in a more suitable focal range, from what appears to be a very substantial stock of fine high-end equipment. Great photography folks!

  I had ordered a lens which was much better priced than elsewhere. It was shipped very fast and arrived to my country, Canada, within a week. But unfortunately I was unhappy about the quality of the lens I received for a number of reasons. I shipped it back the next day, and after a week it arrived back to the US. Within the next 1-2 days Park ave cameras refunded me (they also refunded the original shipping costs, I only ended up paying the return shipment, $17 or so). The money was on my account shortly after. While I was unfortunate with the copy of the lens I ordered, I was very pleased with the efficiency of the refund process. Points of improvement: try to make your emails a bit more reader friendly, with a few sentences stating the status of the order rather than a table which can come across as confusing. Also, consider having more thourough tests of your lenses before selling (although I am not saying that you should be judged on one example, you surely have more insight whether this was a one off or a more recurring problem). Again, compliments for efficient customer service. Finally, I called the company before and after making my purchase and the staff were very kind and professional. If I am in the market for a lens again, I would certainly try Park ave cameras as I know that I run no risk of losing money.

  As a born again photographer at the age of 70 I have had wonderful service from Park ave cameras, they seem to know just what I need and have provided me with some excellent new gear. The service when buying is first rate the delivery fast and well packed I am so pleased this kind of expertise and friendly service still exists I can’t thank them enough.

  It's a pleasant shop to visit and the staff are always very helpful, they somehow know exactly what I'm talking about even though I don't use the technical names for stuff! They also gave us a very good deal and threw a couple of extras in when we bought a nice camera from them. Definitely a place worth checking out for anyone interested in cameras

  Never used or heard of Park ave cameras as I'm not local, but they just so happened to have the exact lens I was after in stock. Very nice and reassuring online ordering procedure, terrifically fast shipping, arrived very well protected and in pristine condition. Even had some extra stuff in the box!

  I cant remember the last time I gave a such high praise to a company who blew my budget out of the water. My wife and I went in recently having been advised by a local that it was the best place to go. Originally intended to by a d3500 new as I have always believed tech should be bought new. However was advised by my friend to talk to 'Ian'. He advised me that though new camera bodies are great if you have the funds. It's the lens that makes the difference and where the budget should go. My wife starts a digital Photography course in a few weeks and I thought the basic lens you get free would do. We were wrong. After about an hour and a half (we are not the fastest communicators and we bless Ian's patience of a saint and understanding) we spent just over 550 on a budget I was hoping to have under $400. But we are supremely happy. The d3300 nikon body does what we need it to do and does it well. Though lacking a few bells and whistles the later models have. But the 18-300mm lens feels like a stroke of luck. My wife could not be happier and neither can I. Now I believe I got a bargain. And some may say as i myself considered. That by trawling ebay and going to Best Buy and the like you can shave a few quid. Maybe more then a few. A second hand body from Best Buy however does not have the kind of guarantee Park ave cameras offer. No chance at all on Best Buy. There is peace of mind in the way they deal with you and when spending not inconsiderable sums it makes a huge difference. Especialy if like us comunication is not easy. Trust them. I do, and if you read my reviews you will know where I stand.

  If I could give more stars I would, you the top end of latest equipment or equipment and all of it sealed with the best of friendly and expert advice, you walk in a stranger and leave as a friend, they feed and encourage your passion and I hope this business continues to thrive through the competition of on-line shopping which just cannot be replaced by hands on retail like Park Ave Cameras offer.

  I purchased a Nikon MB-16 battery pack for my Nikon F80 camera from the 'Park ave cameras' website a couple of days ago. The item was delivered in lightning fast time and the addition of free accessories in the parcel was a lovely touch. The website was easy to use and the price of the item was reasonable, compared to other online camera shops and eBay. Park Ave Cameras went the extra mile, which will not only result in an indebted and happy customer, it will also go a long way in terms of keeping the shop on my radar for future business.   Would just like to say a huge thank you to Ian. We spoke on the phone the other day. He was able to advise me on the product that I needed and was very polite and helpful.   Just bought a Sony Alpha a6000 from Park ave cameras. Perfect experience..! Staff were friendly and very helpful couldn’t wish for better service.   I have purchased from this company before completely hassle free and speedy, unfortunately this time the item wasn't in as great of condition, and I was told this was how this brand sends their products which is a shame.   Canon Rebel t7-Best Bang for my Buck This was an amazing deal. I was acquainted with the T6 models which were released two years before than this model and they were $450. I cross-matched the price for this item on Amazon and Park Ave Cameras has slashed some dollars off. So not only do you get a newer model camera, it's light weight, and you get so many bells and whistles along with it. So happy I ordered this package, everything was in mint condition, in packaging, and arrived quickly. Thank you!

  iPad is still king! I bought an Apple iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display 16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular. Came just as described and at a great price point. Very happy with this iPad Mini. I enfolded it with a beautiful protective case on it for my daughter, and she plays her video games and watches her movies on it. I don't use it, personally, but I did have this same model in white with the same amount of storage, and I must say that not only is this a significant improvement over the original iPad Mini (which had amazing battery life), but it could serve not only as an entertainment device but also as a tool for productivity. Not sure how others might feel about working with a stylus, but when I need to annotate notes, I pull it up in NotesPlus and get my stylus out and annotate away. Lovely device and quite portable too.
