I found Olive through Consumer Affairs website. Having purchased vehicle with over 125,000 miles, I was sceptical if I could even find an extended warranty policy in California. Other than haveing to answer the same exact questions multiple times, it was pretty smooth. The fact that I had to answer the same exact questions more than once is rather disconcerting. Do two departments not share information? Was there a glitch in the website that cause my responses not to be recorded? Was Olive trying to trip me up and catch me in a lie to see if my answers would change? I don’t see an obvious answer that gives me any faith in Olive.com. It just seems janky or dishonest.

So, the online order system was easy enough to use. but I had a question on what "High Tech" coverage was. So called in, and spoke to a rep name Donna Raymer. She answered my questions, was warm and nice, articulate and dorectly replied to my questions. Excellent Customer Service and great personality, no hard-sell. Signed up and hope the service is as great as the company feels so far.

Stary away is all I can say. Horrible no service provided right up front. This so-called company would not provide me with any written communications, provide me any receipts for my payment, provide me with a confirmation of credit card charge, purchase order, etc..., They would not even provide me with a list of repair facilities as they said them at the time of the sale. Furthermore, they claimed they have an A+ rating with BBB when they are not even listed with BBB, they claim they have a regional office in California in 2020 but closed it due to COVID-19 when in fact they never had a California office and the company had just got started. they claim their home office was in Columbus Ohio while their website shows Chicago Ill. they claim their company is 145 years old when I said they didn't have cars 145 years ago they remained silent. This website rating is also a scam and is used as an online platform for putting an exit plan together. Like unethical thieves, they are simply using this platform to gauge people's reactions to help them decide how fast they should close their operation, and on what date they should pack up and run.

My experience was great and the application process was easy. The only thing that I would suggest is that you temper your follow-up just a bit. Reminding me every few days that my quote is about to expire, when I have 30 days to make a decision is a bit much. I know I have 30 days and I know I have to respond, but remember, sometimes life gets in the way and some of these things have to be placed to the side until I can get back to them. In my case, dealing with some issues with elderly parents which prevented me from getting back to you. So this is not a rebuke, just a reminder that we are people and we do have lives to live just like you. Thank you. :-)

It was a bit confusing I purchased 2 police use for two separate cars on my ve tigian they created a duplicate olive but I was charged 3times they keep mixiningy info up I have to call tg yet again to straighten out the names on the policies I’m worried that this is how things will be and makes me weary about paying my hard earned money to a company that cannot get it together

Was a good experience as long as you;re not moving to another state. Would not complete transaction after inputting info. On phone for 2 hours with customer support until I figured out cannot use new address your moving to because VIN for car is registered to old address. This affects the cost of your payment so cost doubled. Customer support should have known this and not wasted my time
