  Leica Q2 I went into the Murphy's Outlet store to play around with the Leica Q2 and was really surprised at not only the quality of the camera itself but also the quality of the photos it was taking. I caved in and decided to purchase it as the main camera to document my families life and I'm so so happy I did. The camera is so easy to carry around on weekend walks and it captures moments so perfectly. Murphy's Outlet is a great place to make your purchase. No -,no up sale, like I've experienced with another seller.

  Sony ECM-77B This is my field lav. I like it for its durability, long cable and epic battery life. Its sonic characteristics and quality are acceptable but don't compare favorably with comparable units from Sennheiser, specially in terms of price. Additionally, their accessories are also pretty pricey. Overall, a satisfactory mic, but you are paying a premium for the SONY name.

  The staff was very helpful and supportive while I was picking out my new Paralenz Vaquita 4K 12MP Underwater Camera, but I'm extremely disappointed. When I got to snorkeling I set up my camera as I was instructed by Andrew and Luke, only to see that my camera showed no data such as dive profile . I went to check my camera for an error using the tool and when I opened the box it there was no click mount or o-rings I then opened my other box and saw it was in fact not there. I'm now stressed out that my accessories is sitting somewhere on the counter or in the trash at Murphy's Outlet. I am a marine biologist and need a working video camera. I tried calling back but got stuck in all the automated buttons until the store just said it is closed at 8pm. There is no way to leave a message. I plan on calling tomorrow and hoping they still have it or atleast see this message. This is a very big inconvenience as I work all morning and afternoon Sunday too.

  Great camera. Panasonic Lumix delivers more and more in every model they manufacture. The g9 is the perfect example of the perfect Micro 4/3ds camera. With the Leica lenses you have the best in photography I'm very happy with the performance of the G9 and very happy with Murphy's Outlet team who i have enjoyed being a customer since 1986.   Canon EOS M6 Mark II Mirrorless Digital Camera Got this 2 weeks ago along with the sigma 16mm 1.4 for video and its a killer combo. Quality is amazing and it's the perfect size. The silver also gives it that film camera look, which I love. Highly recommend. Love that Murphy's OUTLET also includes a camera bag and SD card with certain purchases. Just makes a purchase more worth it compared to the same price elsewhere for just the camera body.

  After doing some research I checked out Murphy's Outlet. The staff are friendly and helpful. I spoke to Andrew and he gave me a great price on the camera I was looking for. Cheaper than the online price. They have a wide range of cameras and accessories, filters, caps, lenses, bags and tripods. An affordable place to go camera shopping in New York.

  Went to several other stores looking to be educated on a Panasonic LUMIX GH5 II before I made the investment.   Samsung Q60A 55" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart QLED TV I use my Samsung TV for just about everything. I stream lots of videos. I play lots of different types of games on it as well. I watch movies, and live television on it. I love how my Samsung TV last for years before having to purchase another one while other companies, you would have to purchase way more often. Excellent staff. Always there to answer questions and explain the products they sell.

  Went into Murphy's today unannounced looking for a 7artisans Photoelectric Close Focus Adapter. I shoot with a Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH lens. I was a newbie when it came to a rig this big. Andrew Miller was there to guide me through the set up and even recommended gear I would need. Everything went smoothly from set up to check out. I felt comfortable leaving the shop ready to go shoot. Andrew Miller was a pleasure to work with. Thanks again Andrew!

  Wimberly monopod gimbal As always with Murphy's OUTLET, first class service. I have used the Wimberly gimbal on my Sirui monopod for bird photography and have found it superb. It’s not cheap but as they say you get what you pay for.

  I was looking to get a new XT-4 and wanted to trade in my old Fuji X100T. This store in particular made the experience seamless. Just great customer service. Though they didn't have the camera kit I wanted in stock at this store, I had it shipped right to my door, right on the date they said it would arrive. The sales consultant, Luke M., was very helpful. I very much plan on visiting this store again. I recommend you visit as well if looking for a camera or camera gear. Go local and support your local vendors!

  Great advice for a novice Following confusing myself reading camera reviews on the internet, I was advised by a camera expert I know to visit the team at Murphy's Outlet Cameras outlet in New York. On their website they offered a trade in on my 30 year Blackmagic's Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, and was quoted $490. When I arrived at the store, to hand in my old kit, I explained my needs to Andrew, and was recommended the BMPCC 6K, and the Heavy-Duty Ball Head Monitor Mount and accessories to fulfil my needs. I found the whole experience stress-free, and the deal offered was competitive and fair. I was contacted within 24 hours to confirm all the equipment was in, and was offered $600 for my old kit. All in all, a very positive experience; I would highly recommend this company for their professional and friendly colleagues.

  It's an average shop. One of the better ones in NYC central area. Knowledgeable people, but they don't seem to want to help you, they just want you to buy and leave. Also they aren't that beginner friendly, meaning that when I bought a camera, It was illustrated in such a way that I was going to quit, or it was a fad or something and I'll be back to sell the camera. A year later, I'm still doing it, but I won't buy gear or glass from there. Advice for them: start being more helpful to beginner photographers. That way they'll more than likely come back and ask for advice, and perhaps buy more stuff.

  Delivery is cumbersome. Staying in most of the day not knowing whether the item will arrive am or pm. Having said this I also would say that the product that I purchased is excellent. The customer service from MURPHY'S OUTLET is extremely friendly and helpful.

  Extremely fast and well packed, the Sony FDR-AX53 Camcorder arrived the following day. This camera is extremely user friendly, and easy to use! The picture quality is amazing.   I was looking for a new lens for my camera and finally decided to buy it. After comparing the prices i found that murphy's camera was the best, I ordered on the web and the following morning I got SMS my order was ready for pickup.   Murphy's Outlet got me a New lens for my Nikon. This little lens is absolutely sweet. Absolutely clear photos with really fun depth of field. I felt like a pro when I took my first shots with the lens. The size is great for travel; it's a great all around choice for excellent quality and flexibility.   Perfect DSLR camera The Canon 90D camera I bought was at a price cheaper than I could find elsewhere. This camera have very good resolution and it is very sharp (with the right lenses). It arrived in perfect order with good packaging a day before the date promised.

  Everything I needed was in the kit and the team were so helpful when recommending which equipment would serve my photography the best as I don't have much experience using cameras and lightings.   I received my Murphy's Outlet camera store. The camera box was only wrapped in bubble wrap and not in a larger box, so corners were dented. I had also ordered a spare battery, which was not included. When I contacted Murphy's Outlet about this, they told me It's their normal procedure and that they've not previously had any problems.

  Reasonably fast delivery and NY tax refunded! Ordered a B W filter which was 1/3 of the price compared to one of the local shops. The order was dispatched after 3 days and arrived after 4 days in Maryland where the local FedEx depot snatched it up. As promised Murphy's Outlet promptly refunded the tax rate and the handling fee. I will definitely order more from them very soon. I can only recommend this dealer.

  Not impressed this time Having bought several expensive things in the past from Murphy's Outlet, I recently ordered a Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM lens as a birthday present. I paid for the lens and had a confirmation email. Several days later I received an email saying it was out of stock and no idea of a delivery date. I was offered a $150 discount on the more expensive model, but this was too much for me to pay the extra. The lens was and is still shown in stock. Eventually I decided to buy the Tamron equivalent which arrived very quickly. This lens was a birthday present, so I was quite upset by the service received this time
