  After researching online for thoughtfully designed wet shaving gear for more than a little bit of time- I was very pleased to re-discover some classic shaving gear on Muhleshaving.com. In particular, I quickly found there what I was looking for- a classic black porcelain shave soap mug plus a good selection of black handled shave brushes with either natural badger or synthetic bristles. Fortunately, my wife cares about good design as much as I do. Not only do I now enjoy great wet shaves (almost) daily, but my new Muhle black shave mug and black-handle shave brush plus polished chrome brush and razor holder are perfectly suited on our bathroom vanity concrete countertop. Ordering online was easy, after-order follow up from Muhle was prompt and delivery was as good as promised.

  I like the elegance, craftsmanship, and functionality of Muhle's razors. Most recently, I compared Muhle's shaving soap to the brand I've used for years. Muhle's shaving soaps work equally as well, but at more than half the cost—and they last as long!

  I received my current STF brush as a replacement for one purchased years ago that I had found to be prickly and had set aside, thinking it was a personal sensitivity issue. Then I saw the same problem noted on an online shaving channel. That let me to inquire with Mühle to see if they could help me assess the problem, thinking I'd buy another STF if the one I'd gotten was defective. They exceeded expectations, responding quickly and shipping me a replacement brush, which is now my favorite synthetic. I've not stopped using it since it arrived. Now that I'm in a position to say, I think it's a standout among synthetics. Mühle is a tremendous company not only for its products but for the way it stands behind them.

  Muhle R41 is a very good safety razor. It is little aggressive but if you hold it correct it will give you a very good clean shave. I have the R89, also both are really great razors.

  The order was not for me and therefore cannot comment on the full functionality and quality. Price seem reasonable for what looked like good, quality products. Giving it a 4-star because the razor did not include a blade which is kind of a big deal since it is useless until you get the blades. For a $200+ razor-brush set one would expect the razor to come with atleast 1 blade so that the recipient may be able use it right away. I ended up placing another order for the blades. The product page on the website does not specify that blade is not included. Otherwise, it is good, quality products and makes a great gift option.

  Thank you for your response. In taking another look at the product page, it does list what is included and does not say anywhere that the blade is included and as such a failed assumption on my part. I still think including atleast one blade for a such caliber product(s) would've gone a long way.

  I bought the Traditional Chrome Silvertip Shaving Brush and the Traditional Chrome Fusion Razor. The shaving brush is a joy to use - the silvertip bristles are very soft and the brush holds enough water to lather up properly for two shaves. This is a very well made brush and it has a nice heft to it - no bristles falling out while using it three times so far. The chrome razor has a short handle but can be used either as a regular razor or one suited for travel. The shorter handle allows one to change one's position easily and it is very well built. I would definitely recommend both the products as they are well suited for their purpose.

  Like the razor once I got the technic I found it rather mild but not as close as I would have liked. I’ll have to experiment with different blades. I do like the razors weight and size, also like the rose gold which is cool looking. I hope to find the right blade that will be close without nicks.

  The shaving bowl with the handle has a very clean look and is very comfortable to hold. The cup is big enough to build enough lather without overflowing. The Sea Buckthorn shaving soap smells fantastic and will fit nicely into the shaving bowl. I can’t report anything on the soap besides the smell since I haven’t used it yet

  The site was easy enough to use. Although, if my closed comb version of the same razor I purchased didn’t break in my hand even though it had never been dropped, I wouldn’t have know this. Going to give it another shot. Hope this one doesn’t break at the threads again. Not stripped, broke in half. Have a perfectly good handle though.

  It works great. Just wipe your brush a few times on the top. It doesn’t look like you got much on the brush until you brush it on your face and the lather just grows.

  Website is beautifully crafted much like the products manufactured by the company, navigation was simple, easy and straightforward whilst feeding the mind and eyes every little detail of their finely crafted razors. One gripe that chopped off the fifth star of perfection was the fact that finding exactly what I wanted (enthusiast pro) I had to jump through a few hoops. Overall great job!

  I favor Muhle products over any other. I've liked everything ordered so far. Razors, soaps, lotions, towels, etc. My only complaint is to the aftershave balm container. In my attempt to remove the cap, the cap and top popped off the bottle. Aftershave was every where. Not a great morning. But, the counter, sink and floor probably smell good.
