  I am totally satisfied with the products and the shaving creams. I have a full set and I will be buying a set for my son in the future for his birthday. I have in the past bought from "The Art of Shaving" but after I tried Muhle they are cheaper and better quality.

  My first time using a double edge safety razor and I like it a lot! It does not irritate my skin like how disposable razors do and I can confidently shave almost every day or once every 2-3 days and get a nice shave. Could be me, but sometimes I have a hard time getting a super close shave but it shaves well enough for its price point.

  Love the brush, nice weight and quality. The razor handle is lighter and smaller than what I’m use to, good quality but difficult to get a good grip with larger hands.

  Tracking is simply useless- with International Tracking I expect information AFTER package left the USA. Nothing was seen after April 17th until last Wednesday 17 April when the Peru symbol with no further info appeared on the log, after which the Peruvian postal service called us on the 20th to collect. The tracking number CM232929217US appears on the copy of the Customs Label. Would it have been just too much effort to email me this number or to put it onto the Glopal tracking system? Number 2 point. I cannot retrieve online documentation for my order from Muhle or Glopal neither is there any info on the enclosed paperwork about Delivery Charges. So this is too primitive for what we call Internet Commerce. Number 3. The boxed razors were not secured against movement inside their individual boxes. The Razors are indeed beautiful but the transport is deficient. Two stars is a generous assessment.

  The blades are very sharp and provide a nice close shave. They are almost too sharp as I have nicked myself quite a bit. But after 2 passes, my skin already feels super smooth.

  This is the best bear wax I've ever used and I've used dozens. I've even tried mixing a few to make some that i didnt know Muhle already made. I have a 4 inch long bear and this stuff keeps it in place while keeping it soft all day long. It's great.

  The products are excellent, the service people have been super helpful and fun to talk with and shipping has been timely. I had some difficulty on doing some things on line when ordering shaving soap and could not find an easy way to change an order without help but your service people came to the resque. The problem was probably mine since I am not good at computer things.

  The brush looks excellent. My only gripe with it is that it has basically no backbone. It makes it tough to lather. If you need something that doesn't just flop over when you lightly press on it, I would get something else. It's definitely much less stiff than real silvertip badger.

  I'm a wet shaver and I use a DE razor. After years of using English badger brushes, I tried a small, Muhle synthetic brush and loved it. Over the past 2 years, I have bought a full-size synthetic and a full-size badger brush. They all work great and are my favorite shaving brushes.

  The site is good. Since i am new to this method of shaving. Been using a cartridge shaver since 1993. I didnt know the differences between the open and closed comb, the brush, the shave soap vs. the creme. Lots to learn on the techniques to apply. Learning as I go. I did appreciate that MuhleShaving sent me a allum block. I didnt know that i was going to need it. The search features on the site can be better layed out better. When i was searching for the allum block, its not under the skin care.

  I purchased a large classic silvertip brush on Amazon from seller eSource. Unfortunately what was sent was a travel brush. Amazon replaced it with the ordered item, a Large Classic brush. The brush delivered but within two months I noticed many bristles coming off the brush each day. I contacted customer support who was very helpful, and the brush was replaced (with a Medium size, not Large - but I was just happy to have a brush that wasn't falling apart.) The new brush works fine and is not showing any signs of losing bristles.

  This site is new to me. I had no troubles navigating through it and finding what I wanted. I love their products. I recently purchased a new razor and I love it. That make two I have in my collection. I wish they would have more sales. I really like the Rocca razor stands. Maybe a buy one get one sale.

  I have been wet shaving for a while now. I have a coarse beard so mainly open comb razors work for me. I have a couple of closed comb razors but the blade gap was too big, easy to cut yourself. I was reluctant to another closed comb razor, but I ran across the muhle razor and I decided to give it a try. My first thought was I am going to have to change to a more gentle razor blade. I tried my usual blades and I found out the muhle razor had just the right blade gap for a smooth shave.

  I searched for R89 grande twist. The results were for a rose gold shaver that had used “twist” in the description and other swag but not the safety razor. Knowing what I was looking for, I browsed through the safety razor section and found the twist variant with the bigger handle. A R41 and not a R89. I hope the search feature can be tested and improved.

  I have been enjoying a new-found pleasure of using the Traditional Chrome closed-comb safety razor and real badger hair brush. These are absolutely exceptionally-made, beautiful, and old-fashioned shaving instruments. What used to be a chore has truly become a pleasurable experience. The razor blades are also very smooth. Shaving my neck area has historically been something of a misery, as my skin there is sensitive, and multi-blade razors have caused irritation, along with wearing collared shirts at work. Since discovery Muehle, this has not been the case, and my skin is ultra-smooth and not irritated at all. Besides that practical enjoyment, I love seeing the instruments on my bathroom counter -- reminds me of my grandfather! Thank you for exceptional craftsmanship and service!

  I still have not received this order. I have lived in Alaska for nearly 40 years and the amount of time it’s taken is worse than in the late ‘80’s. Nothing takes this long to transport anymore.   I've had multiple safety razors and this one has been by far the best one I have used. It's has a cool design on the grip that is good looking and functional as well as a solid medium shave. The weight distribution also is very nice as it helps with even pressure throughout the strokes.

  I'm newer to shaving with DE safety razors and I made the mistake of starting with a more aggressive razor and almost gave up on it after too many nicks. On a recommendation, I ordered the R89. It was delivered quickly and my first shave with it was smooth and easy. Only one small nick on my neck. I'm still improving my technique but the R89 is also a very forgiving razor with a solid build. Highly recommend.

  Shopping experience was fine, site is easy to navigate. I ordered the R89 Twist razor, it arrived and when I checked it out it wasn’t working. Struggled with it for about 30 minutes, watched videos online to see if I was doing something wrong. After fiddling with it some more I finally pulled and turned as much as possible till the head finally came off. Left me a little bummed with the whole experience. For reference I also have a Rocca razor which in my opinion was perfect.

  Fast usps shipping. Brush is faux so it dries quicker. It also does a good job with bowl lathering. It is its own unique texture, not floppy like a Plisson and not firm like my Vikings Blade brush. It does not feel like badger hair, no coarseness like animal hair can have. I feel like I could reach for it several times in a week and it can handle building a thicker lather. It is not as thick as a zenith boar, and really feels like it is in its own class of brush. I think purists would enjoy badger, if you are new and are not drawn to a specific brush then the vegan is the best choice. When I first started my face was bright red with the pure badger, the vegan would be a lot gentler on the skin. Get them all, they are all good brushes.

  My final comment for 2023. The MUHLE soap are in good company with around 200 soaps of various creams, hard soaps and sticks. The MUHLE shave mug is the first item I remember ordering and the MUHLE soap is legendary. It is renowned for being German, and I always get supremely close shaves when I use THE MUHLE components all together. The blades are similar to Personna Blue though the MUHLE are a bit better. I find the soaps are very clean and refreshing and today I noticed the post shave feel is excellent. I think the MUHLE soaps can be harder to lather with and require some extra work though I really get a good shave with about 45 seconds to a minute of using the shave mug to lather with. It gets a rich creamy lather the same as the tube cream. I’ll be a customer for life. The R89 is a daily driver and the R41 is for a good two pass shave. The R89 does require more passes though with skin stretching you can get just as close as a cartridge shave and it is skill that gets you there. Happy to continue using MUHLE and make sure to get MUHLE soap into regular rotation.

  I did not like the experience from USPS, I expected DHL to provide the service. USPS does not know how to ship shaving products. USPS makes their customers feel terrible. UPS does not have the love for shipping shaving items. Throughly disappointed with the package. I purchased new brush after the MUHLE failed after 24 months. Badger silvertip is better than the vegan though I did get some hair falling out from the brush. Badger did have some heat retention and is noticeable. The vegan brush is better value and while it is not as good as the silvertip, I think the vegan feels good for the face. I recommend only using DHL expedited for shaving products. USPS and UPS are not worth using any longer as shippers. Also the free grapefruit soap they mentioned in the advertisement did not ship this time. I always get a free soap with every order. Not this time. Sorry, MUHLE! MUHLE USA has responsive customer service though don’t expect them to replace brushes out of warranty.

  The Mühle R89 Twist is an outstanding razor, with excellent performance and expert craftsmanship. It’s also a stunning piece of hardware to look at. I opted for the Twist version (2-piece) because of the ease of installing a razor blade compared to a 3-piece set. I also favor the longer handle and weight. The razor is well balanced. With proper technique, you can achieved a BBS (baby bottom smooth) shave with no irritation or razor burn. Also, the Mühle customer service team was stellar. They were prompt to answer my questions and went the extra mile. I could not ask for better service. I’m looking forward to exploring other Mühle offerings.

It's like breaking into a new pair of shoes, it might feel a bit different at first, but once you get used to it, the experience tends to improve. Feel free to experiment with the razor and find a technique that works best for you. Maybe start with shorter, more controlled strokes until you get the hang of it. And of course, take your time; rushing can sometimes lead to irritation. Happy shaving!

  I ordered my Muhle double edge safety razor a few years ago. It has been the best razor I've ever used (and I have tried a few other razors of the same general type). In the meantime, I've also tried a pretty large variety of double edge blades, as well as a few different shaving soaps / creams. After all this time, I'm realizing that Muhle also sells some of the best blades out there. I'm just now trying their shaving soap, so hopefully I'll be as impressed with that as I have been with the other Muhle products I've used. In addition to the excellent quality of the products I've used so far, the prices have been very reasonable too.
