Not sure what part I’m reviewing here. The website is great and easy to use. I don’t have trouble finding what I’m looking for. But the customer service I received was over the top. The guy is called Brian and he was so great - kind and understanding, put up with me when I was being a jerk, and very helpful. He resolved my issue and I’m very satisfied with the resolution. I still have not received this order. I have lived in Alaska for nearly 40 years and the amount of time it’s taken is worse than in the late ‘80’s. Nothing takes this long to transport anymore. I would expect for the price point that a faster shipping method would be utilized for high dollar items.

This is the best shaving cream in the world. Load the brush once, covers your whole face, wait for the tingle and shave as close as you like with no irritation; I have to go over some spots several times. One cake last a whole year.

I've had multiple safety razors and this one has been by far the best one I have used. It's has a cool design on the grip that is good looking and functional as well as a solid medium shave. The weight distribution also is very nice as it helps with even pressure throughout the strokes.

I'm newer to shaving with DE safety razors and I made the mistake of starting with a more aggressive razor and almost gave up on it after too many nicks. On a recommendation, I ordered the R89. It was delivered quickly and my first shave with it was smooth and easy. Only one small nick on my neck. I'm still improving my technique but the R89 is also a very forgiving razor with a solid build. Highly recommend.

Shopping experience was fine, site is easy to navigate. I ordered the R89 Twist razor, it arrived and when I checked it out it wasn’t working. Struggled with it for about 30 minutes, watched videos online to see if I was doing something wrong. After fiddling with it some more I finally pulled and turned as much as possible till the head finally came off. Left me a little bummed with the whole experience. For reference I also have a Rocca razor which in my opinion was perfect.

Fast usps shipping. Brush is faux so it dries quicker. It also does a good job with bowl lathering. It is its own unique texture, not floppy like a Plisson and not firm like my Vikings Blade brush. It does not feel like badger hair, no coarseness like animal hair can have. I feel like I could reach for it several times in a week and it can handle building a thicker lather. It is not as thick as a zenith boar, and really feels like it is in its own class of brush. I think purists would enjoy badger, if you are new and are not drawn to a specific brush then the vegan is the best choice. When I first started my face was bright red with the pure badger, the vegan would be a lot gentler on the skin. Get them all, they are all good brushes.

I was totally blown away. MUHLE USA has tremendous customer service. They sent me this free soap. I’ve purchased a lot through the last year and I usually get some complimentary soaps. This scent is terrific. Stupendous. Magnificent. MUHLE is by far and away the best razor, blade and brush combination ever.

Answer by Nicholas MFlagMy final comment for 2023. The MUHLE soap are in good company with around 200 soaps of various creams, hard soaps and sticks. The MUHLE shave mug is the first item I remember ordering and the MUHLE soap is legendary. It is renowned for being German, and I always get supremely close shaves when I use THE MUHLE components all together. The blades are similar to Personna Blue though the MUHLE are a bit better. I find the soaps are very clean and refreshing and today I noticed the post shave feel is excellent. I think the MUHLE soaps can be harder to lather with and require some extra work though I really get a good shave with about 45 seconds to a minute of using the shave mug to lather with. It gets a rich creamy lather the same as the tube cream. I’ll be a customer for life. The R89 is a daily driver and the R41 is for a good two pass shave. The R89 does require more passes though with skin stretching you can get just as close as a cartridge shave and it is skill that gets you there. Happy to continue using MUHLE and make sure to get MUHLE soap into regular rotation.

I did not like the experience from USPS, I expected DHL to provide the service. USPS does not know how to ship shaving products. USPS makes their customers feel terrible. UPS does not have the love for shipping shaving items. Throughly disappointed with the package. I purchased new brush after the MUHLE failed after 24 months. Badger silvertip is better than the vegan though I did get some hair falling out from the brush. Badger did have some heat retention and is noticeable. The vegan brush is better value and while it is not as good as the silvertip, I think the vegan feels good for the face. I recommend only using DHL expedited for shaving products. USPS and UPS are not worth using any longer as shippers. Also the free grapefruit soap they mentioned in the advertisement did not ship this time. I always get a free soap with every order. Not this time. Sorry, MUHLE! MUHLE USA has responsive customer service though don’t expect them to replace brushes out of warranty.

The Mühle R89 Twist is an outstanding razor, with excellent performance and expert craftsmanship. It’s also a stunning piece of hardware to look at. I opted for the Twist version (2-piece) because of the ease of installing a razor blade compared to a 3-piece set. I also favor the longer handle and weight. The razor is well balanced. With proper technique, you can achieved a BBS (baby bottom smooth) shave with no irritation or razor burn. Also, the Mühle customer service team was stellar. They were prompt to answer my questions and went the extra mile. I could not ask for better service. I’m looking forward to exploring other Mühle offerings.

I ordered my Muhle double edge safety razor a few years ago. It has been the best razor I've ever used (and I have tried a few other razors of the same general type). In the meantime, I've also tried a pretty large variety of double edge blades, as well as a few different shaving soaps / creams. After all this time, I'm realizing that Muhle also sells some of the best blades out there. I'm just now trying their shaving soap, so hopefully I'll be as impressed with that as I have been with the other Muhle products I've used. In addition to the excellent quality of the products I've used so far, the prices have been very reasonable too.
