  My daughter's tutor, Dr. Rodrigo, is amazing. She is patient and extremely helpful. My daughter feels very comfortable with her and enjoys meeting each week. Dr. Rodrigo provides strategies that help my daughter retain the skills needed to do well in class. Communication is great between us all and I am happy Learner paired my daughter and Dr. Rodrigo together.

  We are only two sessions in, but my son already feels much more confident in his geometry class now. Learner takes the time to match students and tutors based on interests, learning styles, and more and it has made all the difference.   During and after the pandemic, our son got really behind in math and was unable to engage at all in his middle school math classes. We tried mathnasium for almost a year and realized the approach didn't work for him and his learning style. Learner was an absolute GAME CHANGER! Our son was paired with an amazing tutor and has developed a great relationship with her over the past 18 months. Beyond that, our son is thriving in math (now as a freshman in high school) and his self confidence is radiating. If you're on the fence about trying Learner I would say it is the best investment we ever made in our son's education and one I would do again and again. Shout out to his tutor Mandi, she is something special!

  My daughter works with Jake G and the experience has been fantastic. Jake takes the time to teach the Pre-Calc concepts and works on practice problems to solidify her understanding.   Elmar is a blessing, with her previous tutor my daughter math grade jumped to the low 90s but with Elmar it 98- 99 and because of this my daughter has signed up for math honors. May Elmar continue to be blessed and highly favored, guard, guided and protected so that he would continue to impart his knowledge to helping kids in need. I thank him.

  Sometimes it's the professor and not the student... My daughter was struggling with College Calculus I (Scored a C- on her first exam). After a few sessions with the excellent tutoring of Learner's top-quality college student math tutor, her grades were all A's and she completed the class with an A grade. She told me that when the tutor explained Calculus, "I just get it. He didn't make me feel stupid, answered every question and walked me through multiple examples, explaining why the solutions worked, not just giving me a formulaic approach."

  Wish there was a little more pricing flexibility for situations like this month with lots of missed school causing is to underutilize our plan, but the service has help our daughter. She has improved her grades by about one letter. Our tutor is a good personality match and has been very accommodating on scheduling. It has definitely been worth it for our family.

  I can’t say enough good things about my boys' tutor! She is an amazing math teacher who has built a wonderful connection with my kids.   Over 10 years, I have hired many, many math tutors for my daughter who struggles with learning disorders. Nothing worked. Finally, after years of searching, we have been blessed with Haani!!! He has changed my daughter’s learning life. She had gotten used to failing tests. A B- on a math test would’ve been reason to celebrate. With Haani as her patient guide, she now consistently gets As on her Probability and Statistics math tests!! It’s amazing. He understands how she learns. He diligently breaks concepts down for her so her brain can process the info and retain it. He is personable and funny. My daughter, who has always dreaded math tutoring because it made her feel “stupid”, now proactively asks me to schedule sessions with Haani, knowing that he believes in her and cares about her success. THANK YOU HAANI!!!!!

  I thought many of the reviews and claims were “too good to be true” but we have had a wonderful experience with Learner. True to claim, they matched my daughter with a fantastic and patient tutor. Cary M. Has been nothing short of amazing working with her! Everything is better, her approach to needing help, her grades and her confidence. Cary really knows how to position and teach concepts in a way that she can digest and retain. We are so grateful for him!

  We have had a good experience so far. Other than having to change tutors (which I guess is not in your control), the tutors that you have selected have been a good fit. They are knowledgeable and supportive. Also, it is helpful that the selection process for finding replacement tutors is quick and efficient.

  My daughter has been taking Calculus classes with Mr Carl Martin. She also took Pre Caculus classes with him. He is an absolutely brilliant teacher, outstanding in the way he has helped her understand complex concepts and hone her skills in problem solving and most importantly get her genuinely interested in the subject. He is very empathetic and kind as a person. We are very fortunate to have found a teacher like him.

  I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to Learner for finding me the most perfect Spanish tutor who has helped me strengthen my confidence when speaking with clients. I accepted a role with a Latam company thinking my Spanish was good enough, but I quickly realized that I needed help with my speaking with a business context. Ana, my tutor, not only shared a background similar to that of my family which made it easy to talk about things in life, she also was an excellent instructor providing a variation of teaching methods to make sure what I was learning "clicked". Ana's really boosted my confidence and I am so grateful to Learner for helping me close that gap.

  Do I have any regrets about signing up? Yes, a huge one! I wish I had followed my intuition and signed up at the beginning of AP Calculus instead of waiting until my son’s grade plummeted. We were working with a local tutor who didn’t fully understand the concepts of Calculus, but we kept hoping things would get better (they didn’t, of course). My son has been working with Joel, a tutor from Learner, twice a week, and he was able to turn in his homework on the due date, for the very first time. We finally have hope that he’ll be able to graduate high school with a solid understanding of Calculus that will make college engineering courses more manageable. Don’t hesitate like I did and wait until it feels like a crisis. I wish I could go back in time and sign up sooner!

  Great service and excellent customer service. They are personable and have REAL PEOPLE assigned to your account. These people aren't different every time you call them. They know your needs and select a tutor based on your attributes. They aren't perfect (no group of humans is), but they do their best to make it up when a mistake IS made.   What a relief Richa was…My daughter made 100% on 2 quizzes in one day after the first session! She is taking a summer online course and was trying to teach herself and got stuck halfway through.   Tim Doell was the first person I talked to regarding getting a tutor for my son in Calculus 2. Tim was very informative, friendly, and straight to the point and reassuring that Learner would be a great fit. He was right! My son was very hesitant and has been struggling with college calculus two. He really didn't think he had it in him to pass, but once he met with Joe, he has rediscovered that he is capable of learning this difficult concept. I highly recommend Learner and I'm sure my son will continue once he's back in college. I also feel like the price is very fair for what you are receiving. The tutor, Joe, was perfectly aligned for my son. I highly recommend....very professional, personal, and will 100 percent be a game changer for positive learning not just to pass a class, but to understand the concepts.

  I absolutely love Learner! Without Eleni R my daughter would have never passed Probability & Statistics. My daughter loved Eleni R. I thought that my daughter would have a hard time learning online, but Learner & Eleni made it very easy for her.   Having a great tutor like Cary Mallon is hard to come by, and we are so grateful for his service. My son significantly improved and achieved high test scores while working with Cary. Cary engages in friendly conversations, providing a comfortable learning environment where my son feels relaxed to ask questions. We especially appreciate that Cary gives time and encouragement to work through problems and ensures my son fully understands each concept.   Joy has done an amazing job working with our daughter. Joy quickly figured out how our daughter learned best and what her strengths and weaknesses were. Joy was able to simplify our daughter’s homework and teach it in a way our daughter understood. Not only has our daughter’s math skills increased but her confidence has grown tremendously.   My daughter started working with John Mooney during the 1st semester of Honors Algebra II because her young and inexperienced school teacher was not explaining the advanced concepts in ways that my daughter fully understood. She immediately clicked with John and started to grasp concepts right away. Her grades improved from B’s to A’s by the end of the semester. The instruction at school started to improve her but my daughter decided to continue working with John the following semester because he was able to explain advanced concepts much faster and with less confusion. Her confidence in her abilities rose throughout the year not just because John is a great instructor but also because he made math fun. Algebra II went from a source of worry to a source of strength. She continued to work with John over the next two years despite improved instruction at her school because of her connection with John. He continued to make math fun and provide a different perspective and sounding board on topics that were more challenging. He was flexible in scheduling and made the entire process easy. When speaking with John it was apparent that he really cared and was invested in my daughter's academic performance. I can’t recommend Leaner enough to prospective parents. Over the last three years my daughter’s confidence and love of math have grown tremendously. The entire staff is excellent and made it obvious that they want to provide the best service possible.

  We joined learner the second semester of my sons 9th grade year… Jorge Calderon was a game changer for him and we really saw a rally the second half with his help. My son was getting D’s F’s on his math test and he went to high C’s and B’s..it was pretty remarkable. We are so grateful for Learner and so incredibly grateful we were paired with Jorge!   Our experience with Learner has been very good. They’ve been very flexible and easy to work with as our child’s needs have changed. The folks at Learner truly do want to provide the help your child needs. My teen needed help with Geometry and when her first assigned tutor wasn’t a perfect match, Learner was quick to find another and we were fortunately matched with Joy Bryant. My daughter felt very comfortable with Joy who not only improved her understanding of the material but also improved my daughter’s confidence. Joy’s communication with me, the parent, has been outstanding. She clearly cares about the student over and above simply learning the material. She prioritized our daughter’s ability to help herself when she encounters problems in the future. Joy was also educated and knowledgeable enough to pivot from geometry to physics in the middle of the term and her extra help with that was very appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Learner to other parents and I’d very much recommend Joy.

  Joy B. demonstrates a strong understanding of the subject matter she teaches. She started math tutoring with our son and a month later, we experienced such good results in his knowledge, confidence, and grades that we asked Joy B. to tutor our older daughter in chemistry as well. Joy was able to break down complex concepts into manageable steps. Her approach is professional and encouraging; we highly recommended her as a tutor.

  My daughter worked with a tutor through Learner for AP Calc, and it really helped her get through some of the rough spots. It was so convenient to be able to schedule flexible sessions with her crazy school and activities schedule. She ended up with an A thanks to her tutor.

  John Schultz has been absolutely brilliant with helping my daughter to love and most importantly understand Math Advanced Algebra! My child has improved her score at school and her confidence with finals makes me feel proud ! I would strongly recommend for any student to learn with John Schultz.   This has been such a great service for my daughter who has really struggled with math over the years. Her teacher does not really explain things well; however, her tutor is able to break it down and explain in ways she understands and makes it so much less daunting. The flexibility of when to do sessions based on her quiz/test dates has been so helpful! Would highly recommend!

  Jack is an excellent computer science tutor. He explains difficult concepts in a way that is easy to understand per my son. He is very accessible and always taking the time to check in about the student and being very supportive. My son was able to get his AP CSA class grade to a solid A. He will take the AP in May. We would recommend Jack highly. Jack is incredibly kind and responsive to parents and students and goes over and beyond to provide help even at short notice. One time, my son was stressed over something he was struggling with and Jack had no sessions available for that day but he took the time to visit in between for 15 minutes and that was just perfect. It clicked after their conversation.

  Melissa H. Has been a my daughter's tutor for the last few years as she has attended High School. Melissa has laid a foundation of mathematical knowledge and and been so supportive to my daughter.   I wanted to take a moment to share how grateful we are to our son’s tutor, Cary Mallon. When my son was matched with Cary, he was in a pretty dire situation in his math class, to the point where he was feeling completely lost and hopeless. Not only did they have a lot in common on a personal level, but Cary has been so patient with my son in regards to meeting him where he was in his current knowledge and his learning style. After just two weeks, my son’s entire attitude and confidence has changed completely and we owe it all to Cary! I’m so relieved my son found an amazing tutor to support him through this course! A++!!

  Amanda is a fantastic math tutor! Both my children work with her (7th grade algebra and 11th grade precalculus) . They have different learning styles and different needs, yet they both really value their time with Amanda and she does a great job cueing into what practice will be most impactful for them. Amanda was phenomenal in creating a summer program to help my son move up the the math level he really wanted to be in this school year. She reviewed the curriculum and made a schedule of tutoring and homework to help him get where he wanted to be. Amanda is incredibly kind, patient, and focuses on the positive which both my children really like and respond well to. We feel very lucky to have found Amanda.

  Finding a math tutor who is not only knowledgeable but patient and understanding is not easy. Ondre R has a special gift where he can breakdown difficult concepts in ways my daughter can understand. He uses real life examples to make concepts relatable and over all make sense to my daughter. His patient guidance and encouragement helped my daughter never feel embarrassed or inadequate for not understanding. She always felt welcomed and at ease. As a result, her confidence in math soared. Ondre R goes above and beyond to make sure his students succeed. He is responsive, easy to coordinate with and just EXCEPTIONAL!!!! It has been such a privilege to work with him.

  Our daughter was really being challenged in her 9th grade honors math class, but she refused to drop down a level. We were a bit concerned with her passing the course, and having a rough start to high school, so we decided to support her efforts by finding a math tutor. After a fair amount of research, we chose to work with Learner, and Learner introduced us to our tutor, Ondre R. I can honestly say that Ondre has completely exceeded our expectations. He's calm, patient, flexible, and has shown that he really cares about our daughter succeeding. Our daughter was literally getting D's on every test, and she's now getting A's and B's. We have a long way to go, but her tutoring sessions with Ondre have boosted her confidence, and she now says that math is her favorite class. We're very happy to have Ondre in our corner, helping our daughter get over her first 'major' academic hurdle.

  I am extremely pleased with Lerner. I love the way they match the tutor to the student. At the start of the school year my son felt defeated and hopeless, then we were match with Ondre R. Not only is my son now understanding the work because of Ondre, he actually enjoys class more now. Ondre is very knowledgeable and extremely patient. He has also been flexible with times. This was well worth it! My son and I are extremely pleased with Ondre and would recommend highly recommend him.

  Ondre R. has is a great algebra tutor. My child hasn't always been enthusiastic about doing math, but she looks forward to meeting with Ondre and gets a lot accomplished during the sessions.   My daughter's tutor is Joy B. Joy is a very patient and a good tutor who understands the needs of my daughter. She was struggling in Geometry a lot and Joy helped her to reach A grade. We saw the progress quite fast within 4 classes and she is a very flexible and accomodative tutor. We needed some one who was really patient and understanding of where my daughter was struggling. She completely fulfilled that and my daughter liked each session she had with her. She created a positive learning experience with her. I would recommend her for anyone who is looking not only for knowledge but also for patience and for being positive.
