Verified reviewHigh quality food, I love that they let you purchase trial packs of the food instead of having to buy a whole case of a flavor, only to be stuck with it if your pet won’t eat it. I purchased a trial pack of each variety of cat food. This was hit or miss with my five cats. There were at least six different kinds that none of my cats would eat, (mostly the Poke Bowls), there were a few that some but not all would eat. After going through each flavor, I found four that my cats love. KOHA provides an easy way to experiment with different flavors and textures to see which ones are a match for my cats. The trial packs allowed me to find the four flavors that make my cats happy. I have since reordered those flavors and are happy to have found this brand. The duck pate has a 30 percent protein dry matter content, which is the highest level of protein my cat who has to be on a kidney diet is allowed. After hours of research, this is the ONLY cat food that is over the counter that I found with a protein content in the acceptable limit for a kidney diet and was happy to find it, as the prescription kidney diet wet food was not well received by my cat. That is what brought me to this brand. After reviewing their ingredients I decided to see if my other cats might like this brand, and was happy that they did! I have switched all of them over from Wellness and they are happy.

Verified reviewBoth my dog and cat love the food, though lately my dog has started turning her nose up at the stews. It could just be that she got sick of them. However, I will say that the cans need better pull tops. Despite being pull-tab cans, you have to use a bottle opener or other flat metal object to get under the tab, and I've had about a half-dozen cans' tabs break completely off in the last few months. This would be a minor inconvenience if it weren't for the fact that the tops were clearly designed to be pulled off with the tab and not with a can opener, as I tried with a can opener and it was so difficult I sliced my finger trying to get it off. Overall, good pet food with great, minimal ingredients, but the can top design/quality could be improved.
