  Only issue I have is with the return policy - if a shirt doesn't fit, I dont feel we should have to make another purchase in order to do an exchange of size. At that point, it's not an exchange - it's a return and an additional purchase.

  we have been customers of Hammermade since finding its store in 2018. We are loyal customers because of the quality of the limited-selection shirts, prices, and customer service. Even the ties are the best colors! My son enjoyed his first "real" job partly because he "dressed the part" and became known for his judgement and style, lol. He sent many new customers to Hammermade. He spent so much they let him design a shirt (this was an early promo). He still has every HM shirt he ever bought. He keeps buying more. You cannot find these styles anywhere else.

  Most important to me, the Hammermade name assures high quality and creative yet reserved, unique design. I’m a repeat customer for those reasons. My online purchase experiences have been just fine. Easy to navigate. No issues. Nothing remarkable either … the product takes care of that. Fulfillment is to the best of my recall quick. This last order was incredibly quick.

  I ordered 5-shirts at about $138 each. 4-shirts arrived in a box via UPS; 1-shirt arrived in a USPS plastic bag, folded over and crammed in my mailbox. Paying a premium price for a shirt, should provide shipping above the caliber of socks coming from Walmart.

  I've been a big Hammer Made fan, but the latest purchase did not go well due to the mislabeling of the shirt I received (it's a good 2 sizes too small). The HM return policy on their HalfTime sale is really unfortunate in this situation, I have to reschedule a few things just to get it back to the store within their 3 day window, or I'm stuck with a shirt that wasn't labeled correctly.

  I learned of HammerMade a few years ago, when they opened a store in the mall I frequent. Since then, they have moved out of Illinois, and I can only deal with them online. It is definitely not the same, as I miss the spontaneity of shopping in-person, but it is the best I can do. I am sure I am not spending as much with the company as I once did, as you don't capture the real essence of clothes until you see them with your own eyes, no matter how good the photography might be. The recent order was fine, but I was amazed at all of the subtleties in the shirts when they arrived.

  Navigation on the site was fine....not exceptional, but fine. It would be nice to see the very close up view and fiber details on the fabrics. Delivery was fine, but also not especially speedy. I will say, however that customer service was swift to reply to an email I sent with questions.

  I purchased the last available Windstar shirt and did receive an error message with my online order. I couldn't figure it out so I called customer service, left a message and had a very prompt return call explaining I needed to select the size! Purchase went through and delivery was within days.

  The hammer made product offering is unique, curated, and stylish. I have recently gone back to work in the office, and have received multiple compliments on my shirts and pants. BTW, I wish Hammer made had more stylish business pant offerings, rather than just jeans. I would highly recommend their product to anyone looking for a stylish, professional look to their wardrobe ensemble.

  The reason for 3 stars is because when they mailed the shirt to me they just shoved it into a bag instead of folding it up nicely. The shirt arrived highly wrinkled and looking disheveled. I realize that in the long term this really shouldn't be a big deal, but on the other hand when you pay $128 for a nice shirt, you would expect that they would at least take some care in packaging it so it doesn't need major ironing to fix. I wrote to HammerMade and pointed this out and they apologized and said that sometimes they don't have mechanisms to properly fold and pin shirts when they are sent by mail order.

  The whole idea of limited-run shirts is very novel. However, what makes Hammermade amazing is the execution. The attention to detail on every shirt is impeccable. I have never had to worry about fit except for when i bought my first shirt. I went into the store, was helped by some of the most friendly staff and identified my size. Since then i have been ordering shirts from Hammermade with confidence knowing the shirt that i'm paying premium dollar for will fit me and will be a great add to my wardrobe!

  the color combinations are great. But 3 of my 9 in one shipment were way to tight--different size and i had to throw out after wearing as it took several minutes to get them on and there is a fear of tearing them
