  Gov has a help assistant that helped me get through the process of uploading documents and making sure that everything was uploaded correctly and in the correct format. I would definitely recommend using Gov to apply for a passport.

  Walton did a very good job of figuring out the problem with down loading a Photo from my Mac. He discovered the my Mac file wasn"t a PDF or HIMI type file With that corrected I was able to download. Maybe a note on your application stating the correct format. He worked with me on a getting a good file from my cell phone I don't know to get a 2 x 2 size photo from my cell phone Maybe a FAQ topic on how to do would be appropriate Good Job! Rodney

  Hello, this is Mary Lynn Regan. I have worked for three days with or two days with your gov. Plus I've worked with Naomi yesterday during the day. I worked with Ken or Wade last night, and I worked with Ken tonight. And I finally got it all straightened out. Ken. The other two were great, too, but Ken just really got it. All my mistakes I had made on the application process for my renewal of my Passport and my TSA PreCheck, I cannot tell you how wonderful they were. And Ken straightened the whole thing out for me tonight. He explained everything via our chats. I mean, I'm so impressed. You're just an amazing organization. If these are the three people that represent your organization, and they are so I'm sure there are many more. But I wanted to just say this and especially special thank you to Ken. Okay, thank you.   I recently used GOV to streamline the TSA renewal and my experience was awful. However, the pricing structure was not as transparent as I expected. I initially believed the fee covered the full service—including government filing costs—but later realized that GOV charges a separate convenience fee, and the actual government fee still had to be paid. This felt misleading, especially since the branding and layout resemble official government portals. I also encountered delays in customer support responses when I sought clarification. I was only to get their online customer support, never a live contact. I knew the $97 was more than the charge from the TSA and figured that was how they were paid. I have received no value from the $97 I paid I do not recommend using this service.

  Not what they advertise!! I recently got married and needed to change the name on my social security card, I've seen Gov advertised everywhere and it gives the impression that everything can be done online in a few steps. I paid the $67 and against my better judgment $14.99 for the subscription because they claim that's the best option. I started the application and after a week and a half received and envelope in the mail to send them my documents which could take several weeks to process and get back. During the application process it was not mentioned I'd need to mail in documents (driver's license, birth certificate, marriage registration) and they will not accept photo copies just original documents. Needless to say I was uncomfortable doing so and reached out to customer service via the live chat, I was hoping I could just send them pictures of the front and back of the necessary documents. I was told if I'm not comfortable mailing the documents I can make an in person appointment with my local social security administration, no other options. I scheduled an appointment then reached back out to Gov to inquire about a refund as I am not completing the service with them. I was told they can not issue a refund as the process has already started. I explained I was uncomfortable mailing away important documents especially my only photo ID and not get them back for several weeks. That did not matter as they said I'd already filled out an application and they sent me the mail in envelope. I said I paid for the name change to my social which has not been done but they claim that a refund is not possible. I canceled the subscription immediately and will take the loss of the $67 and the $14.99 subscription fee. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  I found this to be a easy & friendly website to use in applying for a passport.   This company is a scam. They charge a very high fee for forms that are available online for free. It is sad how they take advantage of folks. I was willing to pay the high fee thinking I would receive my Social Security card in a few business days. That was false. I simply received an application that they had filled out my name with that I still needed to process on my own. The Social Security administration website office this service exactly the same service for free. And was very easy to use once I got on the SSA site..

  I have tried numerous times to enter the data needed and submit to get TSA pre-check. I have paid for this and yet I have not been able to get what I wanted. I accidentally pushed 10 for my favor ability or my desire to share with others when I meant to press zero. It has been a horrible experience and I have probably lost $200.

  Started a passport renewal with GOV in August. They declined my picture 3 times despite it being approved for my other REAL ID which is federally recognized ID. Submitted an updated picture a bit later, was told there would be a 3-day turnaround, after 10 days reached out to them. They had not even looked at it. Called in multiple times, had to talk with their AI Agent which always fowarded me to their documents and FAQ. Finally got ahold of a human who said that no application was started nor any picture approved. I asked for a refund and after some teeth pulling they said they would reimburse me. Still waiting on the FULL refund. It is taking a while to show up. The same day I asked for a refund on 10/21/2025 I went to the US State Dept website and submitted an application and picture and just recieved my brand new passport in the mail today 10/29/2025. I did not pay extra for expedited processing. I used regular "routine" processing option. My recommendation for passport renewal, worth going straight to the feds... not worth paying extra for GOV , they just introduce layers of extra processing steps on an already streamlined workflow.

  Using Gov was the biggest mistake I made in 2005. The platform is frustrating to use. I was sold things that I did not understand how I bought them. The customer service is completely by chat bot and infuriating. Gov was a total rip-off for me and I should have known better. The service did NOT save me time or money on my passport! And now I have a TSA pre-check I don’t really need!

  Do not use this. They charge for pretty packaging but—I know they are not affiliated with the government despite their name—they have 0 connections to the State Department. Once your pretty useless box is sent, they wipe their hands. My passport never arrived. They have 0 solutions to my problem besides calling the main line of State. It’s misleading. It’s way over priced now considering the ACTUAL competitors offer hand in glove work with State. So, if your passport never arrives. Goodluck.

  My application was not submitted to IdentgoID for my TSA Precheck, forcing me to redo it in the lobby. The expedited fee that I paid was also unnecessary because I could have been a walk-in. Gov refunded ALL FEES! They honored their word and refunded my fees. I was so happy that a service provide finally has common sense and a sense of ethics. They went from a company I'm mad at to one that I will use for birth certificates and passport renewals because those are not as easily done. I value their integrity and will now find a reason to do business with them. Thank you, GovPlus for being an honest company with integrity and for being so honest. Blake Weihrauch
