  Excellent service. I was looking for a very limitid bottling of rum and found it on DivineCellar's homepage by accident - saying coming soon. I wrote an email asking how soon that would be. At DivineCellar Thomas informed me that the specific bottling had sold out the evening before. What a shame that was. However, the next day Thomas took the extra effort to contact me to inform me that he had got a promise for more bottles - if I would like some ? I most certainly would ! To be honest - these bottles could just have been put on the webshop and would have disappeared within a few hours. Instead Thomas remembered me and went the extra mile to secure me 2 bottles to be sent abroad. I got a very precise describtion of when he expected to receive the bottles, when he would send them from his adress and approximately when I could expect them to arrive at my adress. Everything went as promised and the bottles even arrived a few days earlier than expected. What an excellent service which was way over what you can normally expect. I can only recommend DivineCellar and Thomas Dekimpe.

  I wanted to purchase a single malt whisky to commemorate my son's 30th birthday, he was born in 1994 and has just become a fan of the single malt. Having searched a number of suppliers I found a 21 year old Knockando whisky with a distilled date of 1994 on the divine cellar website, I was delighted to find a whisky that had the 1994 date stamp on the bottle so I went ahead with my purchase. The initial service was good with lots of updates with regards the dispatch of my item, however things went very quiet after a couple of weeks so I checked the tracking details and found out that my item had been held at UK customs. After numerous emails to devine cellar I was eventually told to contact customs myself. I did this and was informed that I would need to pay £34 to have my item released, at no point during the buying process was I told about this additional step and extra payment. Obviously I paid this fee as this was a special gift for my son. Approx a week later the whisky arrived, nearly a month after I ordered this, by this time I had missed my son's actual birthday but no problem it would still be a wonderful surprise for him. I duly unwrapped the item and was astonished to find that the distilled date 1994 had been removed from the bottle label, I was fuming!! I contacted devine immediately as the image of this whisky on their website clearly displayed the 1994 date. Their response was to offer me a 10% discount, which I didn't take up as it wasn't a monetary issue. When I pushed for a solution they in the end said that Knockando no longer produced that whisky with a distilled date, I challenged the fact that the website image didn't reflect this and the date stamp was the main reason for my purchase and asked if they could at least send me a note from the distillery that stated the distilled date so that I could put this in with the bottle. Devine said this wasn't possible so I was left with a bottle of whisky that was meant to be a keepsake for my son to celebrate his 30th birthday. This has been one of the most awful purchasing experiences ever from the customs delay and additional costs through to the clear lack of customer support and misleading website images/detail.....never again!
