Atrocious experience. There are too many people involved in the process and it seems they don’t communicate. What was told to me by one person wasn’t known by the next. My title was signed in the wrong spot, which is absolutely my fault. One person told me that was fine and had me get a form notarized. When the tow buyer arrived, their direct supervisor said they couldn’t take the car. The next day I was told by a different person I’d have to get another form notarized, at which point I was furious because both cost me time and money. The tow driver arrived at 10pm that night — in the dark— and wrote me a check for the wrong amount which then had to be rectified. It was a mess start to finish.

I was skeptical at first, so went on line for reviews and majority of reviews were very positive. Had our 2005 RAV 4 260K miles, driveable, but had body damage and questionable if would pass inspection without major repairs. Entered all the info on line and they gave me an offer immediately which was very fair. Accepted offer, drove vehicle to their office/lot and turned in completed title and keys, received check and left vehicle. Whole experience was excellent.

terrible experience. first we wanted 500$ for the vehicle and you refused to move on the price. second the tow truck drive who came and picked up the car was going to leave before we got there to supposedly get the check. when we got there i asked for the money and he said he didn't have any checks after he told me on the phone he did. so he takes off with my car and we chase him down after calling management and he finally pulled over and wrote out the check. so he lied to us and further more he scared the crap out my son and myself. what a terrible and stressful experience and you wouldn't give us 500$ more.

I had an excellent experience. They gave me a good deal. Everything went the way they said it would. The tow truck driver who picked up my truck was very careful and competent. He wrote a check on the spot when he confirmed the vehicle was correct. I had the money in my bank account the next day .I forgot to take the registration out of my old vehicle and they even let me and helped me come to their lot and get it out.

Yes they come pick up your vehicle but they offer low cash offers so if you paid money money on a vehicle no longer running check around and see what your offers are 1st.

Very poor communications. I didn't know I would be dealing with two different companies when I sold them my car. I was offered $1482.00 and later it was upped to $1520.00 but the left hand didn't tell the right hand and I lost out on $30.00. I would think hard and long before doing business with this company again.

Frankly this was easier and better than I expected. I had a civic with a broken transmission, the city decided to repave my street and I was told to move the car. From the time I called, I had a check in hand and the car gone within 2 hours - actually couldn't believe it.

It was surprisingly simple and straightforward. My 2015 Sonata threw a rod, was not worth fixing. Called a couple of places and CashForCars gave me the best offer by far. The lady I talked to was very pleasant. I needed to get some basic information together, but when I called back, they knew who I was and where we had left off. Finished up the transaction and gave me a number to call to have the car picked up. I called and they were expecting me, set up a time, came right on schedule and hauled it off. Was a very painless experience. Would definitely recommend them.

It was a total cluster. The whole process is flawed. I believe it to be a conflict of interest with being a copart company I don't believe that they don't influence the auction prices. Being connected to the same computer systems by both companies provides them with inside information that they use against buyers and sellers. I hope that someday someone with the resources uses the legal system to stop what the two companies are participating in?

I was not given complete information at any point during this interaction. The people that I dealt with either did not put my requests in the notes or the next people did not care enough to read them. I was contacted a day before my appointment was scheduled saying they were on the way, and they called me instead directly contacting the person that was going to be there as requested. Then once they had my car in there possession, they were not able to produce a bill of sale, and I had to fight with several people to get said document. Overall, I was VERY disappointed in this experience.
