The beginning was smooth and fair, but the administration and completion has been pathetic. I sold my vehicle 11 days ago and still have not received one penny of the promised cash amount for it. I will be reporting my vehicle stolen if the funds do not arrive tomorrow (Saturday). Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED!

If I wasn't so desperate to get this car out of my driveway I would have posted it up for sale can receive much more money than Cash for Cars paid for it. The only reason I called you was because of the urgency to get the car moved. I would consider using Cash for Cars again in a situation where I just need to have a junk vehicle moved

Customer service was actually excellent and the process was relatively smooth and painless. BUT when the tow driver came to pick up the vehicle, he had no company checks with him to pay me the promised amount. This was very concerning because it was a Friday and if I left the car in impound a couple more days, I would accrue more fees. So I had to trust that they would mail me the check. Which they did! It was sent FedEx overnight so everything ended well.

One of the better deals i got for my vehicle, but process was horrible. They didn't tell me everything up front. "Did you get it notarized" no didn't know i had to. " o yeah gotta do that". "Need a picture of the front of title" Ok i sent it. "Did you send a pic of the back"? No you said front. "O yeah need front and back". On the line waiting for them to verify my info with DMV. "Everything is good heres your lot # i will transfer you to get your pickup time scheduled. Cool! Get hung up on. Ask my sales guy who i neede to call. Gave me # to Co-part and said to dial 6. Guy picks up i tell him i have my lot # and need to schedule a pickup. O yea should have dialed 4. Guy tells me he needed to verify my car AGAIN. I said we just did this it took 15 minutes. O sorry i dont have any notes saying it was verified. Communication was poor, time management was poor, information being shared was poor. Almost not worth the few bucks i got. Glad to see the vehicle gone.

It would be a long story but, I needed to do something with an old beat up car. I called they answered, asked the questions, they saw the papers and we made a deal. The next day they sent a tow truck and hooked it up then hauled it off. Left me with a check in hand. Thank you

My dealings with the initial rep was great, it was after that it went sour. I think a lack of communication with the tow yard tanked my experience. They would say we are coming, no oe would show or call saying I was not answering my phone. After a lot of back and forth the yard admitted they were calling the dealer where my car was located and not me. In the end thr deal was not, bit I did not enjoy the process.

They were nice enough, but they made the appointment for a 4 hour window and they did not show up. It took another hour of calls and being put on hold to reach someone who could reach the driver, then we were told they could come that afternoon and would call an hour before coming. They also said he had called us and not reached us, however our phone was on the entire time and there were no missed calls and no voicemails or texts or anything. At this point my husband had to just take the entire day off of work as they were hours later than planned. When they did get here, they had failed to call first, so they just showed up and then did not have the proper tow truck, so had to leave and come back another hour later to actually tow it... This took all day and the money we lost from not working and stress from not being able to reach them when they no-showed their appointment makes me recommend going to a different company.

I had to call them to get my money. They said they would mail it the day they picked up car. A week later they just mailed it. Also said they would pick it up on Monday. They didn’t pick it up till Tuesday costing me another day of storage fees.

The whole process was great. I think the price was really low. I feel that 500 should be a minimum for all cars, since the steel alone would cover that. Other than the low price, the rest was fast and precise.

Initially, all was going well! I wasn’t until I was transferred to the towing co. The hung up on me for not having the lot#, then when it was time for pick up the driver could not locate the pick up spot, it was simple. Lastly, I was going to cash the check for personal reasons and the cashing place near my location stated they called the company and they were not linked to cashforcars. I called cashforcars myself and I got put on hold and 45 minutes then I hung up! I never heard from them!!!

Worst communication I have ever had between customer and business. Do not use these guys and if your insurance goes through them you need to switch asap!!!!
