  These seven bulbs were received packaged within a cardboard box about twice the size needed with nothing but a single strip of bubble wrap lying on the bottom. One of the bulb's cardboard package lid was open within the box and they were somewhat strewn about the package. I tested all seven bulbs but I'm left wondering if there's any harm done to them. One of the Sylvania bulb's male metal screw sections is mounted crooked to the glass. It barely fits into the recessed can but I'm keeping it because I don't want the hassle of a return. I know that problem is a Sylvania problem, but it just adds to a very poor job done here.

  Needed a replacement Mercury Vapor bulb and found them hard to get as they are being phased out. Contacted sales and talked to a nice & friendly sales representative and made an order. They shipped right away. Not a problem in shipping from "Bulbs" but order was held up by USPS at their local hub in Omaha,Ne. Finally got it and installed. I now have a working light.

  I found my best price on a 100w Mercury Vapor bulb at bulbsdepot.com and my easily placed order arrived quickly and very well packaged to protect the bulb. I couldn't be more satisfied. As a facility manager of a large building, I love to find sources like this to order from. I will be ordering again.

  Ordered only four bulbs and was told they would ship immediately the 6 days later I was told they were going to be delayed for another day or two and it took five more days. Showing that BulbsDepot didn’t care that I’ve been waiting for over a week and a half, they sent the box the cheapest way possible, by USPS, who took FOUR DAYS to deliver a box 100 miles. They were so slow that they tried to deliver on a Saturday to a business That’s only open Monday through Friday. Previous orders were shipped quickly and professionally, but this was overall a miserable experience and other vendors were similar price and guaranteed three day delivery which I wish I had done because now I we’ll have gone at least 18 days without light because it is taking them forever to get me the package and they didn’t even expedite it to me when the product was finally in stock. I have a plan to purchase another grouping of bulbs, but I think my purchase of nearly $1000 is going to go to a vendor in Illinois because I can be guaranteed delivery and not given the runaround. If you want good prices, use BulbsDepot, but if you actually wanna get the product sometime in the next couple of weeks, go anywhere else because you get what you pay for and I regret it now.

We take pride in our customer service and we agree with your criticism on how we handled this order. We have made some changes as a result of the feedback we received from you. We stock a lot of inventory but ran short on the product you requested. We provided you with an updated ship date that we did not meet. We are in the process of some organizational changes that will provide more accurate shipping information and faster turnarounds for delayed orders. We will be tracking how well we meet the original ship dates and revised ship dates. Secondly we agree that delayed shipments should be expedited and shipped with either UPS or FedEx regardless of whether Flat Rate shipping was selected or not. These changes would have cut more than one week off your order and provided you with better information. I apologize for issues related to this order and feel that we have made appropriate internal changes to prevent this from happening in the future. We hate to lose you as a customer. I see that you have been a customer for almost one year. You previously ordered 3 times and on those orders we shipped them all out within 1-2 business days. Hopefully you will consider using us in the future.

  I have been looking for these discontinued bulbs and tried ordering them from other vendors, whereby they sent my replacement bulbs that did not work for my fixture. I called BulbsDepot and was assured that I would receive the actual bulbs, and I did. I was thrilled since I can no longer get them.

  I received a 'similar' but not exactly what I tried to buy. Instead of a RDL4-50K-WP 4, I received a RDL4-MTC5-WP. It worked fine but the information in vendor's page is wrong. Maybe, I could fide this substitute item cheaper in other place and without the shipment fee.

  The site was easy to use, and I have searched the internet for a ballast that had been discontinued. I ordered 10 of them and I did get an update that the shipping would be slightly delayed due to the quantity that I ordered. I still got the ballasts before I absolutely needed to have them.
