  The entire team was professional, friendly and informative. They were kind to emergency questions I had when my daughter was sick and I had planned days overseas that I feared may have risked my status. My taxes were done to need and within a fair time.   It was incredibly easy to get set up for the services. Everything worked, and the automated emailed provided good communications.   The tax questionnaire and document upload process was much simpler than other expat online preparers. The commnication back and forth was quick and responsive. The process took longer than I had anticipated. Note to self: start earlier next year!

My returns aren't complex but the one - and only - issue I had was clarity over which forms needed to be signed and returned at the end of the process.   Everything went really well under the circumstances with the Covid-19 pandemic. I particularly liked the email I received saying that I owed taxes. It was very clear that the person writing the email wasn't a robot. The person clearly was concerned about my welfare. I really liked this. I had originally picked 4, but I changed it to 5 stars after this memory came back to me. Good job showing empathy!

  I almost went with Taxes For Expats, but their website was too confusing and it looked like I had to do all the work. You were going to fill out all forms based on my supplied tax documents. I also felt like I was dealing with actual people. From a customer standpoint this is an expensive, complicated and long distance service which is a pretty scary deal. In addition I'm dealing with the IRS with an unknown outcome. So this whole thing is a major event in my life. Thank you for your great work and after the fact follow through.   Overall experience with Brighttax went very smoothly. I used your service in 2018 and now in 2019. Both times, the accountant in charge of my account was very responsive and helpful. I will most likely use Brighttax for my 2020 taxes unless the cost of services is increased once again. I noticed that my 2019 tax service almost cost the same as my 2018 tax service even with my returning client discount as Brighttax raised their price to coincide with the returning client discount.

  Great to work with, friendly and helpful. Very good communication, great service. Only negative would be it seems a bit pricey, but prob on par with competition. Great to work with.

  Everyone I interacted with at Bright!Tax was very professional, personable, and informative. This was my first year living abroad, which came with many of its own challenges and unknowns. Taxes were a huge fear of mine, and I knew very little going into my first international tax experience. Allyson was always available to answer my questions, and I could tell that she, and her associates, took great care to explain everything to me. Her and her team were responsive through emails, and often offered to set up a phone call in case I had additional questions. I felt that I was in good hands with everyone I worked with. I will definitely be using the service again!

  Fantastic experience. I had a complex situation with multi-state and multi-country income issues. Bright!tTax (Allyson/Dafne) interrogated the situation efficiently and effectively gathered the key information for an early submission. Very grateful for all of their knowledge, professionalism and effort.
