Sendinblue has been pretty solid overall. The drag and drop editor is a bit limited, but otherwise that's the only thing thus far that has been any sort of an issue with building and sending E-mail campaigns for our clients. Against other opinions, I gave SendInBlue a try and they turned out to be just as everyone had said. For an author, readers signing up to get freebies or using shady email addresses to obtain those freebies is expected. The only way to weed them out is send them the email and have them unsubscribe or the campaigns bounce because they were, like I said, only there for the freebie. It's a way of life in author newsletters. SendInBlue treated me like I was going off and buying these email addresses somewhere and even suspended my third campaign. I don't need someone I PAY my hard-earned money to police me. I'll find a service that understands the business of authors and treats me with respect.

Navigation on the site and building campaigns is very easy and straightforward. I have a couple of minor items I would like to see addressed: (1) Even though the tool is set to my time zone, it reverts to GMT+2 when scheduling a future campaign delivery. This is confusing, especially late in the day when my brain isn't operating at it's peak ;-). (2) There is no way (that I have been able to figure out) to resend a previously sent campaign to a small number of additional users. This should (I'd think) be a relatively easy software upgrade by adding a "Send Campaign" option to the [Action] dropdown after checking desired recipients, (3) okay, this one is probably not minor...is there a way to feed back whether an email has been opened to my crm (Contactually now, soon to be LionDesk).

For a free service, this sight did well. It would be helpful to have the scheduling time show in my time zone, I had to guess. The sight could be a little more intuitive, but over all worked well. The scheduled messages went as planned and I enjoyed the reports section.

We were using the sendinblue free plan for a while to familiarize ourselves with it and to become comfortable with it. When we subscribed to the lowest level payed plan and added additional contacts in batches, sendinblue flagged our last set of contacts. It is not your job to determine whether people who received free promotional material will take the next step to purchasing or to determine if people who accept free materials could be spam traps. You blocked us from making our own marketing analysis and decisions by flagging contacts. We will be cancelling our plan.

So far so good! Our company hasn't been using SendInBlue for very long, but so far it has been great. We've done two e-mail campaigns - they were easy to set up & send and the reports for the campaigns are extremely helpful. Overall I would give them a 4/5, I would say 5/5 but I haven't had a chance to use all of the features and fully explore the website yet.

Currently, if anyone clicks the mirror link, you will not see who did. I'd recommend you remove the mirror link and make your own. Shared reports only seem to allow the recipient to see top-level data, but it is still a handy feature. Mostly, I am satisfied, especially with their pricing structure. Other platforms equal big bills even in months with zero sends. If you're tired of paying $99 & up per month just to keep your old data, or just to be ready for a possible future send, this might be a good service for you.

Reporting is very limited on the free plan; 300 email-per-day limit is also absurdly low. Drag and drop interface is clumsy. Open rate vs. Mailchimp much lower, indicating that spam filters aggressively remove SIB emails from Inboxes. Segmenting is fairly simple process.

Very good, almost excellent. The customer support is really great. I think that Automations might be improved and there are some things that might be done, especially for the segmentation criteria. I don't like that emails sent through Automations don't appear in the Campaign history for each contact and that you can't use this as a segmentation criteria when sending regular campaigns and vice-versa. I think that Automation and regular campaigns must be linked.

No all of my contacts are receiving my campaigns. I'm only sending it to 67 contacts. The graphics are compressed to fairly low resolutions also. Overall Sendinblue has been better than MailChimp. I'm glad I've made the change for my small business.

The number of emails I could send a day was not clear. I uploaded my entire list and could only send 300 a day, and I could not tell which 300 had been used. With a large list, it was going to be counterproductive to keep sending the same message to possibly the same 300 people. It was not clear anywhere. I have gone back to Mailchimp.

First of all its so annoying that you have to wait for approval of any contacts you uploaded. Even if they are synchronized from other email marketing company. Customer Support is terrible. I reported a problem with broken layout on unsubscribe page and after 3 weeks and 2 reminders i got answer that they don't see it as a problem. It's good, once I got help from someone and spent the time to learn (with her help). For a below average tech savvy person, it wasn't easy at the start. I signed up due to a friend's recommendation. Compared to Constant Contact, which I left because of cost, SendinBlue has no functionality. It doesn't track who clicked on what. Emails were not received. Immediately after, many, many people were unable to receive email from me at all. My email address had been flagged, apparently. It's a disaster. I hate that it doesn't work. The price was great. But with 30,000 contacts, I can't afford to have everyone on our opt in list suddenly unable to receive email and I need to get feedback after I sent an email -- otherwise I can't re-send to non-openers or contact people who specifically clicked on a specific product. When I upload contacts and then re-download them, they download in a useless format, so I can't back up lists on my own harddrive. It's not excl or any readable format other than in SendinBlue. Now that I write this, I realize in spite of all of the work I put in to set this up, this is not a recoverable situation.

I’ve had a good experience with this platform. I love the analytics and the design customization of the email newsletters. Navigating between creating a campaign and creating an actual newsletter has been challenging. I’ve had to create a brand new newsletter each month. Perhaps I’m just not understanding how to choose a template to put into an actual newsletter. But it doesn’t seem clear on the platform. Overall I’ve had a good experience though.
