Mediocre UI. But the biggest reason I dropped it is that they simply don't do what you're paying then to do: deliver your mail to your list. Here's why: First they don't send scheduled emails on time. They batch send (for reasons thatI don't understand). They never once got the first batch out within even an hour of the scheduled time. And there's a big difference between an email received at noon (lunch break) and 1 PM when people are back to work. But more outrageously, if the initial batch (say 500 recipients) doesn't get what they consider to be "enough" engagement, they abort the rest of the send. In other words, your recipients must open your email within minutes or an hour or your entire blast doesn't go out. Of course, that weird censoring procedure also compounds the scheduling unreliability. This process of killing your mailblast at their own arbitrary whim cost my 8,000 subscribers an edition of my newsletter. I would NEVER use them again.

I think this is a very convenient and good product. I was excited when evaluating it for a PTO, because their basic version is free. After setting everything up, we realized that we needed to add a user, so the president and the secretary could use it, but then the the cost jumped to $65 per month, which is not feasible. Great product but pricing options suck.

So far so good, relatively easy and intuitive to use. I think what i would like to see is pre-written suggested content that has historically brought higher open and read rates. These can be suggestions for Subjects, Previews and Body of the emails. With all the Campaigns that customers have run, the analytics for those should be readily avaialble to use to drive this. For beginners like me, this would really help!

Most of my emails went to spam. My attendees at the workshop dropped to half because they didn't get the email. I have been doing this workshop for a year every Wednesday, yet if people don't get the email they think I am not holding it that week...so it was the email issue. It seems your mass emails are identified as spam for some reason. I used you for 3weeks and lost half my attendees. The next week I changed to constant contact and they all returned! Amazing! Sorry guys, your easy to use but your backend needs work, lots of it.

Answer by Lucas DFlagI believed the message being sent was being sent from sandra.squires@derekoneill.com which is a business email and it had no trouble in the past. If you were sending it from my personal email which is a gmail account, then it may not be considered an authenticated email, I don't know. It should have been sent from the derekoneill.com address

I reached out to them before I moved over my marketing to them and they told me what I wanted to hear to get me to move over. Once I did and they took my money they blocked my account so that I couldn’t send emails. I had to move back to the company I was using before. Huge waste of time and money.

During 2020 and part of 2021 we required an email program that would allow us to email important Covid-19 information and news to the parents of the pediatric clients that attend our therapy clinic. We found Sendinblue.com, which offered a free service and a few newsletter templates as well as the ability to track who read the messages we sent. It worked fabulously. The only drawback was that our address book, which had taken some time and effort to modify, was deleted after I'd waited too long between email blasts. The free subscription doesn't maintain a record of data beyond a specified period of time. Otherwise, I recommend this product.

Sendinblue has strict rules about how their customers obtained and managed their email lists. I liked that they had a pay-as-you-go billing scheme and they looked like a great service. I have a list of customers that had built up over the years before the days of strict opt-in. Since I could not meet the criteria, I did not use them. I got several solicitation emails from them urging me to use the service and I unsubscribed from their emails. It seemed that I had to unsubscribe more than once before they stopped, and now I get this request for review which I regard as another violation of my unsubscribe request. I do not know who or what "Verified Reviews" is or how they got my email or how they know I considered Sendinblue. I can only assume that Sendinblue shared my email with them. It seems to me that Sendinblue's dedication to clean email lists should be more closely applied to their own lists.

The tool is ok but they are tricky - bait and switch, to work with and their support appears to be bot-based. I wouldn't recommend them for any serious business. I would rather pay bit more and use another tool instead. WE have put in so much work only to find out that they are not the right fit.

We tried migrating from a competing solution. We brought over a list of our existing 50,000 subscribers. The import worked well, however when we sent out a newsletter, sendinblue delivered only 900 emails. They explained that they use some kind of algorithm to determine how many people should receive the email. It didn't make any sense and is completely unexpected. We decided not to use sendinblue and went back to our previous provider. Btw, we still haven't received the refund..

Our company hasn't been with Sendinblue that long (just 2 months), however thousands of emails later we really like the service. I am new to creating newsletters. I have tried two other services and found them either more robust or easier to learn. One thing sendinblue insists upon that I find annoying is all email addresses in my list must approve being included before they can receive any newsletters. I discovered this when trying out test newsletters on my test group. Other services use an honor system instead. I know this will become a problem when I go to transfer an existing mailing list that I have been using of current followers.

Unfortunately, we will likely need to find another service. Send in Blue has had a number of challenges on the tech side -- like email campaigns going out later than scheduled due to server challenges apparently, and glitches with our mailing list saving. Another concern is that the customer support has been poor -- a lot of emails to try to solve relatively small problems. And, their pricing scheme is deceptive -- there's a lot they don't explain upfront, like the inability to switch between pricing plans mid-month. They appeared cost-competitive at first, and are turning out not to be.

I run a very small business. So small that I still work a full time job. I really was looking for an inexpensive way to send my price list to my customers easily instead of to each person one at a time. The problem I have with your service is I didn't fully understand the way it worked so when I sent out my first distribution list that when I realized I was closing in on having the maximum number of subscribers already and would need to pay for your service. I can't justify the expense right now to spend $300 a year to send out 12 lists a year. Your pricing structure goes from zero to expensive real quick. Mail Chimp has a $9.99 a month service which is more reasonable for my needs and I'm balking at even having to pay that right now.

The email was sent, but for the first several hours, it was held in a quarantine. This wouldn't be a problem normally, except that all users in our campaign still received an email with a huge warning plastered on it saying that the sender is being investigated for malicious behavior. The whole thing turned out to be an issue involving the fact we mentioned a new pricing structure for our business in the email, and I guess Sendinblue's algorithms thought it might be something malicious. Understandable to an extent, but this issue could have severely hurt our credibility.
