Verified reviewThis review is specifically for Junk King’s Stockton, CA location. I spoke with AJ from Junk King’s overall main office and he was wonderful, this review is NOT representative of Junk King as a whole. I had an appointment set for a specific time slot, and on the day of was called a total of five times prior to my appointment; employees from the Stockton location were pestering and pressuring me to switch my appointment to an earlier time slot for THEIR convenience - which I agreed to once, and then was called several times again after that to be pressured into choosing an even EARLIER time slot which I could not do as I was with my mother-in-law at the hospital! They then proceeded to tell me that they would just let themselves into my backyard to collect my junk, and then bill me over the phone - to which I said absolutely not to! Then they proceeded to arrive FORTY minutes early and immediately say “I need to use your restroom.” They collected my junk, and then as I attempted to pay they informed that their card reader was down. They sent me two invoices back to back within minutes apart, then proceeded to call me TWICE to collect payment as I was cleaning and packing as if I weren’t prepared to pay them when in reality I had my card ready and their machine was broken! During the second call I was told “Headquarters says that you need to pay your bill now.” which was in fact not what “headquarters” said considering I spoke to a lovely person from their corporate office. I was told a manager would reach out to me to remedy their poor customer service as well as to issue an discount that I qualified for when I booked the appointment that these employees failed to apply to my total. It has now been two days and the manager at the Stockton office has NOT reached out to me. If you live in Stockton, CA and are looking for junk removal I would not recommend this company. If you live outside of Stockton, CA I would absolutely recommend Junk Kings as their corporate office and fellow locations seem to be 10/10 for customer service and quality. I am sorry to post such a negative review, but my experience with the Stockton location was by far some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was pestered and pressure into terms that I did not agree to and was not comfortable with, lazy and sloppy work from this location.

They came when they said they would and kept me informed about arrival. Office staff was helpful and prompt as well. Will definitely use this company again.
