  I was looking for a camera and lens to capture my son's high school basketball games in the gym. I visited Wayfield and wow!! ALL cameras for sports and tons of lenses. Andy took time to analyze my demands, lighting is always a challenge in these environments. He also spent a lot of time explaining sports photography techniques and settings to increase shutter speeds. I left with a D5 and NIKKOR 24-70mm f2.8. Boy, the autofocus of the lens is fast and reliable, tailored for shots of any distance. This camera has incredible high ISO quality and a robust autofocus system. With all the said, using this lens on a Nikon D5 body, I have gotten good results on my own son's indoor basketball in poor lighting.   Solid is an understatement!! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST-VISIT! Especially if you are a creative that does automotive and video work. I purchased a Fat Gecko to use it with the small rig for the iphone 11 pro and also have used my GoPro with this mount. Ordered another one today because it is that good. Thanks Wayfield and Sons!

  Best service ever Initially my order was cancelled and I was cross - turned out it was my fault (I'd entered the wrong card details) - Wayfield & Sons (and in particular Rose) were brilliant - they held on to the order until I'd sorted everything out. The whole transaction was done with the utmost professionalism and also friendliness. Wayfield Cameras will be my first choice every time now. Cannot recommend highly enough.

  Great service from Wayfield & Sons. Last week I bought a JINTU 500mm/1000mm f/8 Manual Telephoto lens. I phoned the shop to ask a few questions and spoke to a very friendly / helpful guy, Craig. The Lens was described as in pristine condition, and it arrived in precisely factory condition. I would definitely buy camera and photographer's gear from them again.

  Easy and Professional Service I rang at 4.30pm as they were closing in 15-minutes but was helped by very helpful sales department, where I then placed the order online. I had a few technical issues with my card being declined so had to pay via PayPal in the end. I emailed them and heard back first thing the next morning where they confirmed my order. I selected the Free Delivery option but it still arrived Next Working Day. It arrived VERY well packaged. Wayfield and Sons will be my first choice for my yearly upgrades. Thanks Wayfield & Sons.

  Brilliant service from Josephs and Craig at Broadway branch , I bought a 300f2.8 Nikon lense and after one month I found I had only used it twice due to the weight , I contacted Josephs and they let me swap to a lighter option Nikon 500pf 😁 Josephs and Craig's communication was flawless I was kept up to date and everything they promised they did !!   Great service from Josephs and the team in Manhattan as I returned an item that was in warranty. Defect was readily acknowledged and a full refund offered on the spot, "no ifs or buts".   Canon 16-35mm EF f4L IS USM I was already buying a second lens for WAYFIELD AND SONS, this time a Canon 16-35mm f / 4.   Fast implementation, friendly service A month ago, I ordered a camera with a lens with the option of pickup at a point (Manhattan). The visit to the store was a pleasant surprise, the employees were very nice, they kept the appropriate distance, they carefully checked whether my order was correct.   Best Camera store in it's class! This Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 lens build quality is insane. Super strong super smooth this lens is sharp, and clear it is amazing in low light.   The single reason I would ever return to this shop is because of Craig. He is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and will make time to help and advise on anything without judgement. Rest of the staff are......well.....difficult to describe, but not very welcoming or helpful. Store itself.is fine, plenty on the shelves and not too pricey, but I would definitely ask for Craig if you need any advice

  Great Shop for Binos & Fast Service Craig recommended the Celestron 8x42 Nature DX for birding. Excellent mid-range glass, clarity is good and focus is smooth. Low light conditions, dusk, is where these binoculars really shine. The free cap light is a nice touch too. Transaction with Wayfield & Sons was trouble free and shipping was 4 days.   Wayfield &Sons excellent aftercare! Bought an Olympus E520 in the Wayfield &Sons store in January 2019. Additional battery, memory card and UV filter purchased at the same time. Last week (May 2021) I found three cracks in the UV filter glass, which originated from one point, while there was no trace of damage to the outer edge or to my camera. I showed this in the store with the question what could be the cause of this, since with all certainty I have not dropped or bumped the camera and filter. Internal tensions seem most likely to me. Without any discussion, the UV filter has been replaced free of charge. Received a monthly magazine Canon Premium FineArt as a bonus. As far as I'm concerned, WAYFIELD AND SONs deserves a big thumbs up for the aftercare!

  Service with a capital S WAYFIELD & SONS distinguishes itself through a combination of passion and knowledge. Despite the fact that a store must be commercially profitable making sales ineluctable, you do not get the idea that the sales target is put on the front burner. On the contrary, ample time is taken to explain, illustrate and/or share experiences. Despite the fact that the explanation is extensive, it is nice to be able to test the stuff, which is no problem at all. Testing multiple lenses and then being able to make a choice from them is a pleasant service that does not take the time and effort for everything.

  Solid Aftersales Support A reputable company defines itself with the approach it takes when things hit a snug. Once the purchase has been made, it is striking in a positive sense that the service does not stop after the actual purchase. Defective items, regretful purchase or wrong choice, in all cases the service is more than excellent. In short: a specialist store with an eye for the customer and passion for what is sold and/or rented out. Incidentally, I experience it as a great advantage that there is also a wide range of second-hand items available and with pristine/mint items, this immediately means that you can also trade in the used items.

  Demo of the gear is fantastic, but everything breaks down once you speak to the people there. They lack product knowledge and their gear isn't the cheapest, I've had more help from a new store in Richmond! They can't and won't compete with online prices from Amazon, BestBuy or BandH Photo.

  I upgraded from the D7500 to the D500. Best Nikon crop sensor dSLR! Great for wildlife photography; bird captures are very consistent. Highly recommend the D500. Overall, feel Wayfield & Sons pricing is competitive and they deliver consistently and quickly. Not my first rodeo with Wayfield & Sons and they continue to give me no reason to go elsewhere; no hesitation to recommend them.

  BAKING TOO MUCH! I never dreamed that this MacBook Pro 16" laptop could get that hot. Especially not something that apple would design. Plug in an external monitor and who needs a stove to cook an egg. But return window has closed and I don't like it at all

  Been here a few times over the last couple of years - great refurbished Nikon cameras and brilliant service every time. The refurbished gear is reconditioned properly too - lasts a long time. The only reason I had to go back in with my NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G lens at all is because I'd had it for long enough that I needed to update the lens! Would recommend this to anyone who needs a new Nikon camera or just repairs - good service, good price - what more could you need? :)

  I visited the store for a Reportage and street photography lens. I have bought a ZEISS Biogon T* 21mm f/2.8 ZM. I bought the lens for my Leica M240 and have been extremely pleased. Very sharp and crisp, even when wide open. Very nice glass. It's very smooth and the detail is perfect. I also tested a few ZF ZE line of zeiss manual focus lenses. Has absolutely everything a photographer could need, from high end camera through to everyday consumables. Helpful staff and loads of stock, plus the chance to try things out.

  Ball head is insecure. My Robus RCM-633 never securely holds my camera or lens, Its a good thing I never trust these heads at all, on one occasion the camera came right off the Robus RCM-633 and if I didn't have my strap around my neck it would have hit the ground, I can never get it secured!!! I have been looking to speak with someone at Wayfield and Sons to see what can be done to correct this flaw!

Whether I speak with Craig, Josephs, Rose, or any of the other staff members, I have always received good advice and very good service. I usually shoot nature and wildlife Last week, had an unusual challenging shoot where I had to photograph peafowls frequenting our neighborhood in LA. Josephs and Craig provided me with great advice on exactly how to position / feather the soft boxes for perfect results. This is a first rate camera store. They know what they are doing and they are very friendly.

  Got this BE-117 Ball head, it works fine with my Manfrotto MT294A3 and just like my previous Manfrotto ball heads. My Nikon D3200 is stable and erect in the air.
