  For the past few years, I have always wanted to get Monbento but had issues making payment on the site but didn't want to purchase through Amazon, so I let it go. The payment page wouldn't load and it didn't matter whether I was using WiFi, the Ethernet cable, my phone, iPad, or laptop, or what time of the day I tried again. I was so happy that I was finally able to this time around. While the looks of the site is neat, trying to find a specific item back again through the navigation was rather cumbersome because the categories were rather vague for items like the containers with silicone lids that come in sizes of 1/3, 1/2, and 2/3.

  I have purchase around $300 in total from them. Overall it’s a good purchase. The only issues is sometimes the lids and containers get warped. Not all the products are made in France which is sad. They advertise made in France. The accessories are made in china. The fabric bag is very thin and cheaply made. I would pay more for better quality. I had to purchased the insulated bag but it only comes in pink. My son cannot use it. That’s bag was very well made. I am still waiting on a heated lunch box.

  Initial box I received slowly started to warp through regular usage. (Never microwaved or heated) A replacement was sent to me under warranty but the quality was no where near as good as the first set. The new set had rough edges from the mold and the colors were similar but noticeably different from the original.

  The package was sent from France (which was not specified on your website, website that is .com, in English, and with payments in us$) and was stuck in the Paris aiport for several days. Wednesday 01/02 is way past Christmas and I had no gift to give.

  I ordered a thermos lunch box from Monbento and never received it. I didn't receive tracking information either. Yet, there is the charge in my checking account! This was supposed to be a Christmas present for my wife--the only thing she actually wanted. I will return it--if it ever arrives, that is. You should be embarrassed.

  very good lunch box. latches well and is tight enough that our child can open and close with ease. I wish the caps of the small containers were a little tighter. I'm a little concerned that those lids will leak if the box is upside down or even sideways.

  There’s nowhere else I’d go for high quality and beautifully designed bento/lunch boxes! I bought one for my husband years ago and it’s as good as new, so I finally treated myself to one as well. Highly recommend! The website was easy to use and I enjoyed seeing all the options, and being able to customise is fantastic.

  I was super excited about this order from what I had read and seen online. However, after receiving the product, I was extremely disappointed in the quality and utility, especially given the high price tag. Had this been a 5$ item from Walmart, it would have sufficed, but being a $50+ lunch box set I was shocked. It is so hard to remove the lids for daily use, and the overall plastic containers just felt cheap. One of the sets came scratched and was missing several pieces. I ultimately returned the set for a refund, but working with customer service via email proved a weeks long process to simply return a damaged and incomplete item. I would not order from them again.

In 2021, our MB Square also joined our Made in France catalogue, as well as our entire monbento Pro range reserved for catering professionals. Producing in France is a process that takes time, that's why this process is still ongoing and we are starting with our most requested products. In addition, as the demand for our products in Asia is very high, we have kept a Chinese production for the Asian and American markets (North and South). This allows us to continue to reduce CO2 emissions linked to transport. All our products are well identified according to their origin. If you notice a mistake somewhere, it’s important for us to correct it. We will work to improve our communication.
