  Customer service was great. Originally misread the spec sheet and added a 2nd charger, the rep recognized that and figured it might have been a mistake. Instead of just pushing through my order, he called and verified and amended the build sheet and got me exactly what I wanted.

  I'm giving a relatively neutral review for this purchase. My initial sales contact was helpful in answering questions and getting the order processed. But once the order was submitted, the order took way longer to ship than they had originally stated. I waited several weeks for the laptop to actually ship. The shipment itself was packaged very securely, and arrived without any damage or other concern (just really late). The laptop was in excellent condition (it was used). I was a bit disappointed to see it had Windows 11 when I had specified Windows 10 during the order process. Initially this was an issue as certain software I use would not run on Windows 11, but that has since been resolved by the software supplier. Windows 11 does work very well and I have had no crashes or system errors, and it was a clean install, free from bloatware or other garbage. I am, however, rather disappointed that the 9 pin COM port does not work. The ultimate reason for this is that while there was a driver for Windows 10, there is not for Windows 11 (or I can not find it), rendering the port useless. Had I known this, I would not have chosen this configuration. I'm now stuck with using a USB adapter for my COM port needs. The after-sale 'support' from this site was hardly helpful in this regard, initially ignoring my request, then after pestering them, they responded by basically spewing a bunch of technical jargon pertaining to how Windows handles COM ports at me, and pointing me in a direction to look for my own drivers and leaving it at that. The only other item is the batteries: They only 'test them to 85% of capacity', which means nothing really. While the batteries do work, they don't last nearly as long as they should. I estimate about half the normal capacity from one and even less from the other. I would really only recommend buying from this site if you know _Exactly_ what you are looking for, and are confident in that regard. If this is the case, the laptops and related hardware they sell is worth the price.

  This company is great. I purchased a Panasonic C-30 rugged laptop years ago for my consulting business, which involved quite a bit of dusty field testing. It served me well for many years but finally needed repair. For about the same price as the repair, I replaced it with a C31. It developed a disk problem after about 2 years. I contacted Tough Rugged Laptops, and they repaired it for a VERY modest fee. The service is fantastic.

  Very competitive pricing and good customer service. While I was a bit disappointed in the change in delivery time, it wasn't Tough Rugged Laptops fault as Panasonic was delayed due to inventory. TRL kept me informed of the delayed delivery as to why and when which was important. The did receive the product on the delay date of delivery. Very happy with my purchase.

  I have been dealing with this customer for a number of years now. Very knowledgeable staff and pleasant to deal with. They even helped me with an issue on an old computer that I thought I would have to retire. We got it working again over the phone so I might get a few more years out of it. My go to company for our toughbooks.

  Sent my computer with an extra DVD drive. I love the computer! I called my rep and emailed them telling them of their error. They offered to send me the RMA information for the drive and it never arrived. After waiting several months I sold the Drive on Ebay for $190. At the end of the year they call trying to get back their drive I told them I sold it. I offered to pay for the drive and they charged me the current year retail price $299 instead of the retail price for the year I bought. Being responsible and honest with them cost me an additional $100. Great product poor dishonest service. As my step father said, "Let no good deed go unpunished!" Tim

  When I contacted ToughRuggedlaptops, I was looking for a replacement part for one of my Panasonic laptops. A very small item indeed. I was contacted by the sales team who asked for a picture and better description. He took that information and through his tech team was able to determine a part number. He ordered it for me and I received it quickly. This was a less than $25 part for someone who had not been a customer. I received a follow up email to check if all had been accomplished. This dedication and willingness to help was/is very positive for this company. My only regret is I currently don't have any purchases I need so I could work with them again.

  Awesome experience! My ToughBook looks and operates as if brand new! Great price plus there was a discount coupon going on. Tip: buy the secondary battery option that goes into the CDROM slot. The battery it ships with is OEM but older and only holds about 2-3 hours charge. Also buy the 3 year warranty. You can never be too safe and the price is good. Love my ToughBook! Keep up the good work guys and gals!

  I have made a purchase and had a Toughbook repaired and they are not only good but fast; I had the Toughbook repaired and received within a week. I received my order within a couple of days. They are not the cheapest option but very dependable and worth the investment.

ON A REGULAR BASIS. On a good note,having a computer that is capable of two separate internal drives is great, I just haven't gotten around to it ,the second drive that is, yet.   We use reconditioned Panasonic ToughBooks. Not exactly what we expected. They aren't made for these strong and durable laptops. The holder is flimsy and the computers shake all over the place. Big mistake buying these.

  They need to learn about customer service. Part of the purchase is the delivery. They are not absolved of responsibility after the package is given to UPS. If for any reason the package does not arrive. It is still their responsibility. The Package required a signature for delivery. There was no signature for delivery and yet they made 0 zero effort to track down where the computer was delivered to. When I inquired with the company they informed me that it was no longer their responsibility. That is unacceptable. Clearly the delivery of the computer is their responsibility. I was insulted by their ignorance.

  I couldn't figure out how to get windows to upgrade even with the help from Microsoft. These made me one that works on a machine Panasonic and Microsoft said can't be done. Quick.   my order was not filled completely. It didn't have all the items I paid for and once I contacted them to have this fixed I could no longer reach anyone. I have emailed several times and placed several phone calls. The computer was not even put together completed. I am very disappointed and will not ever recommend them to anyone. I was asked to send a picture of the back of the laptop to show that is was not finished when shipped and I never received a response. It was like I didn't matter. This computer was for my autistic son who is being bullied at school. The computer is basically worthless and I spend almost 700.00 on this. All he asked for Christmas was a computer that he could play his games on and the computer wouldn't break if he accidentilly dropped it because of his poor motor skills. I have even mailed a letter and still haven't gotten a response back..

  The pre and post purchase support, even from halfway across the world, was excellent. Polite, prompt, and professional, I'm not sure I could've asked for better interactions. The only problem I feel necessary to mention was that the drivers on the device itself were sufficiently out of date that it was bluescreening on an uncomfortably regular basis. Once a driver scan was performed (using a third party program not from Panasonic or Microsoft) and the system drivers were updated, there have not been any crashes since. On the hardware side it has been an excellent machine. The flexibility of component choice and upgrades is unparalleled, dampened only by the fact that, if you want LTE connectivity, you must be sure to select it at the time of purchase, or the path to adding it is delicate and invasive. Overall, my experience was excellent, coloured only by the driver issue mentioned previously, which was solved with relative ease in the end. One final note: even after taking currency conversion and shipping from America to Australia into account, the pricing from TRL was still cheaper than were I to make the same purchase locally, so their prices are definitely competitive.

  Very happy with my order other than it took quite a bit longer to arrive than expected. My sales rep, Peter, was thorough and knowledgeable and I'm very satisfied. The delay in arrival could have been due to the holiday season, as the unit was ordered on December 18th.
