  Being a professional ENG Photographer I am used to having heavy ENG Cameras on my shoulder to shoot. I've been hunting for the perfect dslr shoulder stabilizer for nearly two years. Most are overpriced, too heavy, and ergonomically incorrect. I discovered this pro video shop in Manhattan and paid a visit yesterday. I tried this Dot Line DSLR stabilizer very briefly and need to test it more. It's comfortable enough and keeps my hands free. No complaints. I will update this review after I film professional wrestling on December 11th.

  Had my camera for months, never answer the phone, eventually told me the price of the repair after I managed to contact them. They tell me they've emailed and tried to phone me.. they haven't. Over a month has past and they still haven't updated me as to whether my camera's fixed or not. Been phoning all day, no answer again. Looks like I'm gonna have to travel to Manhattan not knowing whether it's fixed or not.

  The price of a Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L macro lens was so good I thought I’d give it a go. My lens was delivered at 9am on the 4th working day after ordering. Wish other suppliers could do this. Had accurate emails throughout, The lens was incredibly securely packaged. I've been with Nikon and Sony and been a huge fan of macro photography. I knew it's just a matter of time that Canon would up their game with this new RF version and the best thing of all is that park ave video didn't disappoint. Best in the market so far. Sharpness, color, 1.5X magnification completes my overall needs. Well built and pretty lightweight! Park Ave Video shipped it pretty quick and my wife received and handed it to me.

  I purchased a Sigma 16mm f/1.4 lens which stopped working after a few weeks later however Park Ave Video fulfilled the warranty, had it repaired, and returned it to me very quickly. Very happy with their service.

  The last deliver which had a Sigma Art lens and filters in it. There was not enough packing in the box at all. It was the first time I had received a package that way. I hope the lens is OK as I had to wait two months to receive because it was backordered.

  SmallRig Full Cage for BMPCC 6K\ Unlike my older TILTA full cage which doesn't support the newer 6K, the Smallrig full cage does fit around the 6K.

  The assistant was very efficient and the JVC GY-HM170 camcorder that I ordered were ready for collection after 3 days. So far I am learning the camcorder and am shooting in a controlled studio and I am very pleased with the quality of 4K video I am getting and it is shooting the first 4K HD.   Nikon W300 camera. This was my third purchase this year from Park Ave Video. Service and advice were absolutely spot on, the Nikon W300 camera arrived within 4 days, and the savings I made were quite considerable. I am still getting up to speed on the W300, and liking it. It does have simple point and shoot that does very well. And like all Nikons, it has many excellent features, I am looking forward for a trip to Jamaica when I can get the camera underwater. I will definitely buy from Park Ave Video again

  Very professional and camera as described. This is my first time I purchased from Park Ave and I am extremely happy with them. I found a very good deal online on a PTZ Optics camera. I ordered it on Monday and I received it in 5 days and it was as described. The camera is by far the best camera for live streaming my gaming Vlogs. My setup uses the serial port joystick controller. It was basically plug and play! The quality of this video this camera puts out is amazing. This camera functions great in low light situations as well. Thanks Park Ave for this camera! I will buy from Park Ave again.

  I use Park' for most of my photographic equipment purchases and find the staff at Park' Manhattan extremely friendly and helpful. I attended the store for a hands-on camera experience last week and the staff at Park' could not have been more accommodating. The Olympus rep showing me the camera was very knowledgeable and made a good presentation of the micro-thirds Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III to me. The store manager, Ryan, was also able to advise me on the camera and his input was very helpful. In addition, I spoke to Ryan about the struggle I was having to replace a tripod bag I stupidly lost somewhere in the field and without hesitation he was on to it and found me a replacement bag which fits perfectly. Moreover, I was having to send my camera back to have a repair done and Ryan found me the right size of box and bubble wrap! Couldn't ask for better service than that!

  I ordered Sony A7R III camera which was in stock and at a competitive price. It came the following day well packed. This camera is amazing for the megapixels and high dynamic range, absolutely in love with it. Great for landscape and astrophotography. I recently made the switch from Canon over to Sony and I have to say, this camera does not disappoint! This camera is a beast! I love it so much! I had a couple shipping delays, but the customer service was great in getting me the info that I needed! Will definitely be buying from Park Ave Video again

  They have specialists with in-depth knowledge of compact cameras, and I will be visiting them tomorrow. It was such a helpful recommendation: I had no idea that such mastery existed, and this sounds like exactly the right way to help me decide what camera to purchase. And I great admired the fact that Ryan wanted me to have the best advice possible and felt that someone else was best-placed to give me that advice.   Uncertainty. I bought a completely nonfunctional Panasonic cine and wasted 1200$ on it. No one told me that the performance of this camera was horrible, any phone video looks better than that piece of junk. In other times Park Ave Video were very helpful, Buyers beware.

  After spending $1,948 on a new camera it was very difficult to haggle with these guys they didn't want to budge in price and make it cheaper than anyone else, they said it had to be a a store not a price online, no wonder this small online company is going bust, lower your prices and match BnH or do deals and maybe you'll get more customers 😀

  Lots of camcorders, PTZ and cine cameras. Seems like a good local option but gimbal is still more expensive than downtown camera store in NYC or ordering from the mighty B&H etc.. I was in Manhattan and visited a few times to buy stabilizers. The shop owner is very haughty to buy his Benro, which I wouldn't buy, you won't save that much money unless you buy hundreds of dollars worth of product. I told my friend about it and he was very pushy with her as well the first time she visited.

  It's great to have a store like this in central Manhattan. Prices seem higher but there's no competition where you can go in and look at used gear. All the items are stored in the back now so you can't see what's in stock. It's been busy when I've been there at the new location so there was no room to walk about. Only open Saturday. Pretty sure it's actually an online store at this point.

  EXCELLENT CAMERA FOR A FAIR PRICE Bought it upon seeing the promo on three retail outlets. Only Park Ave Video delivers to my place. They had an A7R III promo which includes a free camera bag and a 128 gb SD card. The camera came installed with the latest firmware which includes uncompressed raw. However, its a fraction of the price of other full frame cameras and takes excellent photos. This is a great full frame mirrorless camera. Great camera!! Excellent value

  Great camera for both landscapes & product photography. Have all the required features and taste. Known issue of overheating problem partially solved with the latest firmware 1.3.0. All in all a camera of joy to use except the price is a bit expensive. It worths a 5 stars if not it’s pricey. Service at Park Ave Video, NY is great, will definitely recommend it every one.   The website is top-notch. It launches quickly and doesn't have obvious quirks. Online checkout is simple and only takes a few clicks to submit an order. I used the live chat to ask question about returns and it works pretty well. The main category of items I purchase from PAV is camera gear. Given their reputation, I much prefer getting used equipment from here than Amazon, to avoid counterfeits.

  I ordered a Sony 90mm lens from Park Ave Video. My lens arrived on Wednesday. I was kept informed on the progress of my order, and provided with a tracking reference once it had been dispatched. This is an excellent macro lens that produces great detail and resolution. And, yes, it is very sharp. I have not tested it's portrait capabilities as yet but I am sure from the macro images I am getting that it will be very good at portraiture. So far I am using the lens to photograph perfume bottles in a light box and the results are excellent. A fast and competent service.

  I ordered a Canon 100mm lens a few days back from park Ave Video. The web site was easy to navigate around and the price for the lens I was looking for was equally good. Within just a few hours everything was sorted and my lens was packed up for next day delivery. I'm pleased with the purchase. I find the lens acquires focus reasonably quickly though in my applications thus far, macro and portrait, focusing speed is not an issue. The lens is certainly yield sharp images. Thanks

  I asked for advice on a Macro Adapter M today because I was unsure about a possible loss of quality in the image and because I generally like to take photos with my other camera and have not yet done so with the M10. I did not expect such comprehensive and competent advice. But the sales rep was so good and passionate about it, technically adept and very well trained that I would like to share my very excellent rating. If there were six stars, they would be appropriate!   Following a camera fault I e-mailed the company describing the nature of the problem. The reply was prompt and helpful. I returned the camera and, within a week, I received a return phone call to explain what had been done and that the camera was to be returned, under the terms of the two year warranty, to the manufacturers for repair. Today I have received an e-mail advising that the camera is now in the post. In spite of a relatively long 3 week delay with the manufacturer ,the camera has been returned in less than 5 weeks. The staff are courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. My experience with park Ave Video from sales to repair has been excellent.

  I wanted the new sigma 150-600 lens for my Sony camera. Park Ave had same price as most stores but offered interest free credit so I ordered it on line.   11/17/21 Sony a7R IIIA noted as available and in stock. Placed an order via their web site, (which states open as normal) two weeks past. Order acknowledged but then no subsequent update or response to my enquiries to confirm a dispatch date or ETA? Despite running an online business you are unable to contact them by email? Thankfully paid via PayPal. Resolution raised and money refunded, no explanation or apology offered ..... best avoid these people!

  I Bought a Panasonic HC-X1500 camcorder and It arrived two days later very well packaged and from UPS. I'm enjoying the many options provided. I own its predecessor the HC- X1000 which is much heavier, so this is like its baby brother. I like the very sharp images and long zoom range. If you are worried about buying online I can assure you my experience was really strong and can confidently recommend Park Ave Video.

  I did a lot of research to find a Nikon Z 6II camera at a good price. I settled on Park Ave Video - The Delivery was very fast and efficient and I received my camera the next day. I have upgraded my Nikon D750 to Nikon Z6II. It is an amazing camera and it is worth the upgrade. I am more than happy and satisfied with the results. The video capabilities is astonishing as well as the photography. I would happily recommend them to anyone.

  For me the best photo dealer in Manhattan. Top advice, service and quality. You can tell that it is a family-run firm and that all employees are very well trained and can always help. A little tip: there are in-house exhibitions several times a year, workshops are offered and you can have your camera cleaned for a small donation!

  Ordered a Canon 50mm STM f/1.8 lens today (Saturday) at 11 a.m. My doorbell rang at about 12.40 p.m. The lens was delivered fast. Well packaged and everything is correct.   I am a professional videographer and commercial pilot. We capture video and stills primarily for local TV commercials and filmmaking. The Zenmuse x5 is a huge step up from the DJI camera that is shipped with the Inspire 1 and Osmo. It's a compact, very well made unit! Personally I think it's a best camera for documentary film making! Very good stabilization and video quality! And so compact! Love it! Great product and sevice

  Great value, awesome internet supplier. I looked though the prices for a Sony HDR-CX405 camera. This is quite a significant purchase and I wanted an outfit that I could trust.   Park Ave Video were very responsive, helpful and honest with my specific enquiries on buying a Nikon D850 camera. I was given useful information on the current market/availability conditions and on technical issues regarding equipment of interest. I bought a camera body which was in better condition than I expected. I am very happy with the advice and service. My Nikon D-850 is by far the absolute best full-frame 35mm Camera I've ever owned. With its 45.7 Megapixels, I'm now capturing landscapes, still-life, Portraits, etc. in greater detail than I ever could with any of my previous Cameras.
