  Ultimately first class store best in class camera shop ever visited the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable And couldn’t be more helpful to get you the best deal. Bought 2-Fuji XT2s and a few lenses and really pleased with my purchase got a few items before over the last few years and never had any problems Staff here being photographers themselves know how to treat the customers and the store Manager was second to none in getting me the best products to suit my needs Definitely be recommending Murphy's Outlet to all my photography friends and family as it is a great experience shopping here and a joy meeting these wonderful knowledgeable People in the Photography World

  Visited NYC camera shops to buy a camera component for my DSLR. I was served by a very knowledgeable salesman. he spent a lot of time trying to get it to work with my camera. In the end my camera was not suitable for the component. I was advised of this. I feel this camera shop and it's staff are an asset to New York and would recommend them to anyone seeking technical advice on Photographic equipment. I will certainly use this shop in future to buy any photographic goods.

  After several hours spent going over cameras, lenses and what was the best option for me (trying out many in the process) I cannot recommend the store highly enough. Zero pressure to buy anything, just knowledgeable guys who will give you an honest answer to pretty much any question you can throw at them. When spending a lot on a camera, this kind of service and expertise is invaluable and nowhere comes ahead of Murphy's Outlet.

  Dealt with Shawn from day one of going in to shop ,fantastic help , step in right direction ,had loads of time to talk you through the process.   Murphy's Outlet is a good camera shop with plenty of photographic equipment for the beginner, enthusiast and pro. Pricing is quite good. Found that battery prices were the best anywhere! Friendly staff are always willing to spend time giving good advice on all things photography. Recommended!

  I made my purchase from the store - yes I could have gotten the item delivered directly to me. Maybe I could have even saved a few bucks but unless we continue to purchase directly from specialist stores like this we will lose not only the staff's collective knowledge but also somewhere to physically get our hands on equipment before making (at times expensive) decisions.

  People seem to not like Murphys Outlet, but I’ve personally never had a bad experience. Good location, accessible, very helpful staff that know their stuff. They took care of my warranty repair issue for me and everything worked out fine. Return policy isn’t that great, but similar to most other camera stores. Website is easily navigable, so easier to just visit the store.

  -Staff from sale part here is very helpful and patience. I forgot that my debit has a 1000$ limit and he patiently wait for me to call the bank to up my limit. He's also went out his way to help my get my student discount. I would definitely come here again if i ever need any camera equipment

  Bought a Nikon 80-400mm lens from them. Their service is efficient and the lens was in good shape and performed as expected. Some people give bad ratings as they didn't do their homework regarding a certain lens. I did mine and knew this lens was slightly slow for airshows, but went with it and was satisfied with its performance.

  Have ordered via the internet before from Murphys Outlet, but decided to go and visit them at at their New York branch and was not disappointed! Friendly welcome from a young salesman and sophisticated gentleman (sorry didn't get your name!) who helped me a lot with the camera I was after. My wife brought some of her old gear along which we part exchanged and got a reasonable amount for! Easy parking, easy to find and a very good experience. Cheers guys! :)

  I was searching heavily on the internet for an Optoma Projector. Amazon is my first port of call to see an estimate price and get a bearing. Alas! Amazon had gone out of stock and even had a higher price than I had seen earlier in Murphy's Outlet plus others. Discontinued by manufacturer. I wrote this piece for anyone who may have misgivings on Murphy's reliability. After getting The Optoma projector, I'm delighted with how it bathes with a rich pool of light, high-contrast resolution etc. It renders dazzling light, finer images and clarity. Thank you so much john and jim and Murphy Outlet!

  Staff is awesome - super knowledgeable, as one would hope/expect in such a store. The prices are great (for being a "specialty" store, the prices are not "specialty" prices, if you know what I mean!) I have never felt pressured to buy anything; in fact they are great at educating on what product is better - even if it means spending less. THAT alone is worth a ton. Thanks to John for his help today in my latest purchase!

  Knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service. I walked into Murphy's outlet this morning and was basically greeted by every employee that I passed. I was looking to purchase a tripod and some camera filters. Staff were more than helpful. They know the ins and outs of all their merchandise, was very patient and made great suggestions.   I look forward to going into Murphy's Outlet. They have great variety, and knowledgeable staff. Any time I need to pick up anything related to my photography needs, Murphy's Outlet is the place.   Went to rent some camera equipment for a wedding I was taking a video for. Super helpful staff in the rentals department who helped me decide what equipment to get and gave recommendations. Damage deposit was a bit steep but understandable given the equipment value, would go again for any of my camera equipment and rental needs!

  I've had 3 used items from here in the last 12 months. They know their business and while you could buy cheaper on Amazon, these people have inspected their items and offer a 12 month warranty. Better to be safe than sorry. Customer support takes duty seriously. Really friendly helpful staff.

  Things go wrong at times and they did for me at another competitor. However, at Murphysoutlet everything went smooth from beginning to end. I spoke to the store at 14:10 they were dispatched same day and arrived by 9am less than 24 hrs later via free shipping. An email receipt and tracking number was sent out immediately. A great service and I will use them anytime

  MurphysOutlet is a treasure trove of ancillary components for TV. I bought several pieces including Omnimount Os50f Small Fixed Mount. Investing in these accessories allows me to save space as the screen now eats up less footprint. Staff willing to advice politely too

  It's so much fun shopping at Murphy outlet online due to their seamless shipment. A really nice store with great merchandise. The staff helped me with an issue with my camera even though I didn't buy it there. If I had more funds, I would have bought a top-end DSLR they offer at very low rate. When I'm ready to buy a new camera I will certainly go there to purchase.

I recently had my life stolen from me and it was my Nikon DSLR and I bought several things from this store always pros and helpful in Every way I’ve owned 3 cameras prior to and hope one day I’ll be lucky enough to perches another NIKON like I had from them I’ve shopped at Best Buy and other camera shops in the past and Murphys outlet is by far best camera service and product.

  I've been going to this store for years. I'm electrical/electronics engineering and a tinkerer. I've found odd ball items fo my odd projects for years from Murphy's outlet. They always worked with you and was completely fair. Truly a unique part store in the United States.

  Murphy's Outlet is a treasure trove for the tinkerer, or anyone who works with electronics and computers. The owner is a great guy and is about as laid back as one can be. Be prepared to spend a good deal of time wandering the website, as this place is packed with stuff, and most of the time it's not labeled. This is one of my favorite placed to just stop and browse, because I will often find something random that will be perfect in an upcoming project.

  Plentiful store. It's like the Disneyland of electronics. I can explore the vast stock in store all day. Seriously there are few stores I can say I love to visit just to see what new stuff they have, but Murphys Outlet is just that. It's my favorite store. They have good prices and a amazing selection.

  A great selection of cameras and lenses as well as photography supplies for all your beginning or professional needs. Knowledgeable salespeople and ONE-STOP store makes this place a MUST VISIT shop for an upgrade or to supplement your existing photographic hobby or collection of digital or film cameras. I didn't feel that they were trying to sell me something I didn't want but that they try to match a camera or lens to my particular needs and allowed me to make an educated decision for myself. This great store has everything photography and is my go to place for my every camera need.

  Gone are the days that I had to drive 45 minutes to find a proper camera store. I purchased a Canon 100-400 IS II @ Murphy's outlet. Great costumer service and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of selection. This time around purchased a tripod. I must admit that I paid $55 less what I could have purchased brick and mortar. I do value being able to touch, feel, and try out items before I purchase. These days that luxury is few and far between. I look forward to purchasing a new camera body soon and will likely purchase from Murphy s outlet. There's value to be had in being able to try out items (much like the old times!). But these local stores have premium rates, paying a little more in order to have that ability. I suggest an efficient online retailer with breakneck TATs like Murphys outlet. Otherwise there's plenty of local businesses to take a chance on.

  I went in to get a phone protector case for my iOS and first of all it was half the price of competitors and they installed it for me without any other fees. They were friendly and I enjoyed talking to them. 10/10 would go again.

  Excellent service . Staff took time to follow up with me and return my call . Very professional service . The delivery driver agreed to work over his normal times and deliver in rush hour traffic to deliver when suited me .Free shipping for local orders puts this store way ahead of rivals. Would recommend .

  Went in today. Got great service and wasn't oversold, just told them what I wanted and the staff went through the options in order of price. No pressure to purchase anything, very easy going and accommodating. Didn't feel pestered or harassed like I do in some stores were it's clear the staff are eager to make a sale rather than provide customer service. Would definitely recommend.

  I bought a Samsung soundbar for my TV form this store yesterday. The store is neat, all-spiffed up, small and neat, but has plenty of products to showcase and see (without feeling anyway too lost or vast) The guys in store where also very helpful/ friendly and provided a great customer service. They where very knowledgeable about the products and devices. I left the store very happy with the new Samsung sound bar system I bought and felt assured I left with the right product for me. Would highly recommend this store to anyone, looking for any type of Home / Digital / Electronic devices.
