This bookshelf is gorgeous. Also, I paid for the in-home installation, but the set up was so simple that I could have done it myself. This is the nicest. Worth the money! bookshelf I have ever seen.

I’ve only had this piece a few days, and I hesitate to review it so early, just in case things change (which they can when you order a product online). But, having said that, my initial reaction is: WOW! This sideboard is absolutely gorgeous! If you’re looking for a stunningly beautiful mid-century modern look in a sideboard, you won’t go wrong here. The construction quality seems to be top notch with soft-close doors, drawers on metal extensions, and thick and heavy construction. This is no piece-of-junk IKEA knock off. It seems to be VERY well built and VERY sturdy. The design itself is amazing. Most modern side-boards that I looked at in my search for the perfect piece (and I looked at literally hundreds!) are just boring. Some were too small for my needs, some were very uninspired in their design, and some were just very poorly made. This one is none of that. I literally sit in my office (where I’m using it as a credenza) and just look at it. Yes, it’s that awesome. Hopefully, after I’ve had this sideboard for a few weeks, things won’t change, but as of now, having only received it earlier this week, I am in love with it. Oh, and for those wondering, yes you have to install the base, but it’s insanely easy. It literally take six screws and of course the sideboard has pre-drilled holes for the screws. The only issue is that the thing weighs 250 pounds, so you will need at least two people to lift it, carry it, move it around, etc. Make your life easy and spring for the upgraded shipping option ($149.00), if you do that, the delivery people will assemble the base for you.

It's even better in person! There are two drawbacks though (one is actually kind of a major drawback for us). The first is the fact that it doesn't have holes in the back to run cords through. You would kind of think that something of this price would already come with them. Now we have to drill (into the wooden side) one ourselves, which obviously we'd prefer not to do. However, it is better than having the router and everything else we have plugged into our TV showing and looking messy. Second, depending on how far you have the white side (or the side with the medal leg) pulled out, it can get wobbly. Other than that, it is a great piece.
