Exactly as I had hoped. I love it.

Ordered the caramel leather Charlton Bench. - Service Shipping took about a week and a half. Delivery service took away all packaging...nice for bigger pieces like this. Note that I the pic shows the caramel bench with black legs. I asked Modloft if they could change to walnut but they said they would have to custom make it and it would be a significant surcharge, but the bench showed up with the walnut legs (yay!). I'm not sure if they made the swap or if the legs are generally customizable and that the rep I talked with just didn't know it at the time. - Product Design is obviously reminiscent of the Knoll Barcelona Couch, but I actually prefer the cleaner edge and legs of the Charlton. It's a bit smaller than the Barcelona, which fits my space better as well. Solid frame and decent quality leather. Not buttery like a genuine Barcelona, but roughly equivalent to what you find on Pottery Barn pieces. Seat is pretty firm (must be solid base rather than webbing), but works well for ottoman. Overall very pleased. Will definitely consider ordering other pieces from Modloft. I just wish there was a closer showroom so I could test/inspect pieces and understand all options before purchasing.
