Love the look of this bed. The delivery crew was very courteous and professional. It's a low profile bed, so make sure that you have a thinner mattress to go with it. We used a 10" one.

I can’t even review the bed because it has not been delivered. Order was placed on May 11th. It is July 8th, still no bed. After multiple calls to not only Modloft, also their carrier named ELITE, that it is “in transit”. First of all, having to try and communicate to both Modloft and the carrier is ridiculous. They leave it to the customer to follow up with the delivery from their carrier which is another company. Called Modloft, they said it was delivered to their carrier ELITE. I Called the carrier and they said that it is still in transit. After multiple calls for weeks, both parties always said the same thing. Only after I threatened a report to the better business bureau, filing a dispute with my bank, and taking additional legal action, they decided that they would actually help and look into the matter. It turns out that the bed was delivered to a San Francisco warehouse and was just sitting there. I live in Seatt. Now I still have to wait over a week until it’s delivered to another warehouse in Seattle. After that, I still have to wait for a call for delivery. They offered no compensation for time lost and all the hassle of simply just finding out the status of delivery. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MODLOFT

The bed itself is exactly what we were hoping for, modern, sleek, statement piece but blend in with our room well. The delivery required a little more frustration and work on our end than anticipated (third party delivery service only texts you an appointment time and there's no way to actually have a dialogue to ensure you land on a time that works for you so you have to either accept or decline and after declining a few times, they will start charging a storage fee. Going through modloft customer service was not helpful--they just parrot exactly what the delivery service sends you via text but unable to get you in touch directly with a human from the delivery service; luckily, my husband is a logistical engineer and so is familiar with how to manage that aspect of the industry and he was able to eventually coordinate a delivery time that we could finagle being home to receive it) and would give me pause about ordering from modloft again.

The bed is very good and looks modern. The delivery process could have been better as they were supposed to assemble on the first day but the delivery people were not given clear communication they were supposed to assemble, so they had to send new people on a different day after we brought this to their attention. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase!
